A nice short walk to centre of Brugges. beautiful setting near a bridge. Wonderfully helpful staff - just ask and they will get what you want/advise you. Nicely decorated inside and out - basic but pleasant. Towels changed every day and room thoroughly cleaned. Good attentive staff at all times. Rooms were a little too hot at night so had to sleep with window open when -2 at night and cobbles meant we heard every passing thing if window open. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making, especially coming in from a blizzard, but hotelier happily makes you a drink in bar. Stairs very steep for the infirm or for large luggage. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a very bright and pleasant place to be. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again. The only very slight negative was the room cleaning...it was good but not excellent. 5 minutes extra spent on cleaning the room would have made it perfect. |

The room was fresh and homely. The staff were lovely. The position of the hotel in relation to accessing the main tourist areas was good. The top floor is not suitable for young children, thankfully we didn't have any. |

Location was very good and owners were very friendly. Very clean hotel and free wireless in room. They even packed a lunch for us to take on the train because we were leaving too early to have breakfast. |

Excellent room, bedding and furnishings for the price, Very nice owner operators, although overall staff is a bit scarce. Acceptable breakfast: good quality but limited choice. Very quiet despite being centrally located. Have 4-bed "family room" where my wife and I enjoyed some long-lost "togetherness" with our two young adult sons. Lots of fun and banter in nthe room. Common areas are very small and virtually limited to the --otherwise very pleasant-- breakfast room |
