Excellent location at Avenue Louise Really individual style and flair
Breakfast to expensive
The staff and the room
The room ( a twin ) was large , clean , light and. Comfortable . The beds were lovely and of very good quality . The whole hotel is designed in a very period but quirky way but is very stylish . The tram stop is nearby .a taxi to the hotel from the Eurostar terminal cost us 15 Euros so although not in the centre the city is easily accessible. The receptionists are very helpful and sorted out a noisy neighbour problem very swiftly .
The restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment and there is a limited bar menu which is quite expensive. Breakfast is ok but not great and is also quite costkly - 24 Euros P.P.! I was unhappy that the reception had added my city tax and a bar meal to my final bill ,dispite me asking to pay in cash ....There are no restaurants or shops very close to the hotel , but a short tram ride in the direction of Stephanie tram stop has designer shoos and a few cafes.
Hotel was run down.
Friendliness of the staff, and the service
The location on Avenue Louise is good, but slightly far to walk to the city centre - but this is just a minor quibble.
The staff were fab, really helpful. The hotel was clean and in a good location. We would defiantly go back.
I would have liked a little help with our bags on arrival.I had my baby with me and my husband was of parking the car.
location, room, facilities, front desk personnel, breakfast,
Quick and satisfactory
Prostitutes near the entrance
The hotel is in a very nice part of Brussels with a lot to do in the evening in the immediate neighbourhood. On the face of it the location is not the best for a business traveller, but if you look at the transport connections it actually works very well if you are visiting the EU institutions. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel that connects to Louise in a couple of minutes, and the trams run about every 5 minutes. The bus no. 60 takes you to Schuman from a stop a couple of hundred metres from the hotel. Because the location does not look so good, the prices are very competitive and the standard of the hotel itself is very good.
Style & location
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The tram 93 is right outside, which can take you to the city center. Nice restaurants within walking distance
It would be nice to have a menu breakfast as well as the buffet. 29 euro is a lot to spend on breakfast when you just want some cereal and coffee. The information in the room indicates there is a menu for breakfast, but it wasn't available (perhaps this was a language issue / miscommunication, as I don't speak French)
Comfortable cheap accommodation.
Bath had several large chips and floor tiles loose. Seems to be a popular spot for streetwalkers whoight harass you. Not convenient for metro.
Clean. Very friendly and nice people at the lobby.
There was only one soap on a room booked for two person, furthermore, the soap were not replace the following day.
Location and atmosphere
bathroom fixtures need an upgrade
Helpful, friendly staff and a warm, comfortable room. Excellent value for money.
Nearby Louis station Near to grand palace Near to nice stors
Old style Gym Breakfast high price
I stayed at the hotel because i was meeting a friend already staying there for business reason. The price was attractive. Accomodation were good
It's a bit far from main tourist attractions. Also on the weekend it's surroundings are gloomy since most of the establishment seem to cather for business people. Also would have preferred a choice of pillows
Sexy hotelroom. A bit old-fashioned. Nice bathroom. Fun.
housekeeping: food open and damaged in the refrigirator; foul smell. Carry currency in the safe upon our arrival. Neither coffee, nor shoe shine in the room
1) location - walkable distance to ULB Campus
1) overpriced (20E for continental breakfast?!, 6E can of Coke?!) 2) dirty mini-bar 3) no electric kettle in the room!!! , no tea. coffee (unless you order room-service) 4) unstable and very slow internet connection (unless you pay 19E for 24hrs / 7E for 1 hrs!!!)
Nice room at good price
lack of free parking breakfast too costly
