This place is absolutely unique and inspiring! Rooms are amazing, breakfast was excellent.
Neighborhood, owners, staff, breakfast, location, easy access to metro and great restaurants, easy walk to the Grand Place and central Brussels.
This venue is somewhere between a hotel and Bed and breakfast. Charming, interesting rooms, well located very near metro and an easy walk to the Center of everything. Good breakfast and staff. Our favorite hotel stop on this past trip!
We got upgraded for free, and the room was spectacular. Location also excellent, near everything!
We stayed there on the last night of our honeymoon. The hotel rooms and the hotel itself was breathtaking. The staff were extremely helpful, there was patking and the breakfast was very good. We can't recommend it enough.....everyone should go there!!
There is nothing that fell in this category!!
location outside of metro quiet area at night
The room needed a serious spring clean. The bed linen was of course clean but just look into the corners of the room and the top of the bed lights. behind the sink etc and it was all filthy. loud banging door at night (never got to know what this was) when people are trying to sleep. As a solo female traveller I found this very concerning - it sounded like someone trying to break-in
We are belgians, on weekend in our capital. We wanted something different so therefore we choose this hotel. It is okay but 100 euro it is on the expensive side. Location is perfect though.
Loved the quirky rooms, especially our "Japan " Very cheerful and helpfull, no problem leaving our camping and Packrafting kit whilst we explored the City in the afternoon
Each room is tastefully decorated as a different exotic location. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is good, and location is very convenient.
Nothing - but it would have been fun to change the room each day ;)
The hotel was quite unique with themed rooms.
You will be charged if you eat in the rooms and the tea/coffee facilities were very basic (plastic cups, stirrers etc)
We asked for a few extra's and the cost was extortionate - the service wasn't fantastic.. Rooms were nice but would not got back.
Really friendly staff, good breakfast, good location, close to restaurants.
Booked a delux double room because it came with a safe, however there was no safe in the room. Room was quite shabby and could have done with a dust and paint really needed touching up. WiFi signal was poor and kept dropping out. Queen size bed was two single mismatched mattresses pushed together, which meant a big divet down the middle of the bed.
Good breakfast and nice hotel - with intersting decorations in each room.
Poor isolation of the room -difficult to sleep if somebody just passed through narrow corridor.
It's a great hotel in the center of Brussels. The location can't be better. It's on the nice square right to the entrance of metro. We were able to get everywhere on foot in 20-30 minutes around historical center. It took about 45 minutes to get to Airport on Metro/Train. The hotel itself is very nice. They have all their rooms designed in different theme. We had a Congo room and felt really in Africa :). The room was impeccably clean. It wasn't big, but very well designed ergonomically, so we had everything we need - chairs, closet, etc. There was a great breakfast with with a a lot of choices. Also, they have a coffee/tea available free of charge all the day in breakfast room. The staff was very professional, friendly. They helped a lot, explaining how to get to places and where to eat.
I really don't know what to say. Everything was good. I can't say what I didn't like.
Thematic rooms were fantastic, bathroom was stunning and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful, even giving us much information about Brussels and the local do's and don'ts. Massively enjoyed our stay, great location as well, close to the main centre and literally next to a metro station.
Nothing major, might be a bit pricey, but you get excellent quality for that money.
Marc, Michel and Chloe. Excellent staff, lovely welcome and the attention to detail in each room was exceptional. The owners have put their heart and soul into this hotel. Marc was so helpful, knowledgable, and funny. They all made our stay a pleasure. I will definitely be returning here. So central and excellent eateries nearby. 10 out of 10. Couldn't fault it!
Unusual room decoration
Only the neighbourhood
I expected to find a charming hotel and a room according to a price of 140 € for two people, however we found a small room with no charm, sloping ceiling with a window when the rain fell not let you sleep, it was a room that claimed to be Chinese and China had only a vase, a panel with a red chinoiserie details and furniture, that is not Chinese. Lousy breakfast, both inedible fruit as meats, finally a splash, The hotel photos have nothing to do with reality
We stayed in the Egyptian room which was amazing. Loved the whirl pool, everything was fantastic. Staff were very good at accomodating my needs - I asked for a birthday cake to be in the room for my boyfriends birthday and when we arrived there it was. Breakfast was great - great choice of items. Good location.
Could have done with a few more coffees and milk in the room, as couldn't access the coffee machine in reception after 11pm.
Nice staff, gave us a map and gave some advises about the city. Walking distance to the center (well, if you like to explore city by foot), good idea of design, but bad realization. Breakfast was fine.
We had Vietnamese room and it was very dark. Very uncomfortable bed, shakes every time when other person slightly moves. No conditioner, was hot, fan helped somehow. Door to bathroom had a large window without a glass, so other person in the room can see and hear everything...
Wonderful staff, friendly and very helpful. Very well located. Breakfast is good.
Some wear and tear, room could have been a bit cleaner.
Great location for metro and restaurants. Themed rooms are quirky and fun. Friendly staff equally happy to share local knowledge or a joke!
Might not be for you if you prefer your hotels big and impersonal.
The location is excellent. Steps from the metro, surrounded by restaurants and shops, minutes from the grand place. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous and kind. I stayed in Kenya with my mother. perfect size and quirky fun. Loved everything about it.
I couldn't get the WiFi to work from anywhere but the lobby but it wasn't a problem because the counter staff looked up information and wrote down directions for me. They even let my use their phone to contact my bank in the states about an issue with an ATM machine.
The decoration made the hotel a unique experience. The rooms were all right, with decent size and decent facilities. The staff was very kind and helpful. the breakfast was very complete and very tasty as well. Within walking distance from the city center and with a metro station right in front of the hotel, making it easily reachable form the station.
Since the rooms are very different, you might end up with a large room or with a small one and this might not be very comfortable, especially when staying in the attic and being a tall person. Price-wise, it is on the high side, although not too expensive.
