The rooms were lovely. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Access to coffee throughout the day
Plastic cups in the room could have been upgraded
Not the kind of ordinary hotel that you can't tell apart of each other. Plenty of effort invested into the set-up.
We stayed at the egyptian suite. Amazing decoration. Nice bathroom with a big jacuzzi. Rich and delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Everything was excellent.
Awesome Staff took the time to make us feel at home and highlight the sites.
Although it didn't look like much on the outside the welcome was very warm and friendly and the rooms stunning. We had a lovely room in India but accidentally saw the ' Silk Road' when walking past to reception and decided to try for an upgrade, which we negotiated for a night. What a stunning stunning room (s). Comfortable bedding and sumptuous fabrics, tastefully decorated with very helpful and friendly staff. We will be back and have been recommending to all our friends
everything - comfy bed, warm and queit, no musak at breakfast.
Every room is designed according a city/country around the world. We stayed in the room "Istanbul" which was pretty nice. Hotel located in a very interesting area, near the main square, with many seafood restaurants around.
Unique rooms Free wifi
I travel a lot both in business and for fun and I must say this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Yes, the room was a little small but the authencity, friendly staff, facilities and location are just perfect. The area is safe, it takes a few minutes to get to the main attractions of Brussels and it is only a few minutes ride to get to Schuman. I would definitively stay there again.
One of the top hotels I have stayed in worldwide. This hotel is on a whole different level from other hotels. The owners are friendly, helpful, and ensure that you have everything you need and take great lengths to answer all your questions. The location is great and in walking distance to many attractions. I would suggest the Silk Road or Egypt rooms, best rooms there!
I only stayed one night, I should have stayed longer!
Fine small Hotel with interesting decor, well located in St Catherine - so close to St Gery, etc. Metro line 1/5 next to the Hotel so very convenient for vacation or weekend
not that I did not like but for business visits there is no real working desk and the WiFi has significant problems. As there is no one after 9pm there is no chance to have issues solved at night.
Great location to visit the Christmas market and the town center. We loved our room (Cuba)! Lovely decorations. Would've liked to see the other rooms.
I made 2 separate reservations with the intention of experiencing 2 different rooms (and sent a request to the hotel), but they gave us the same room for both nights.
The country styling of the room (thaiti) is very nice and creative! the mattress is very comfortable :)
The location is great
Not value for $ for sure
Stayed here for two nights to do Christmas shopping and visit the famous market. Fantastic location. Great helpful staff. Would stay there again. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of the breakfast.
Finding the hotel. Took us 2 hours in the rush hour in the dark.Wish I had had a gps.
Location is excellent! Especially in Christmas season - in the heart of the main Christmas market. Opposite the metro station. 5 minutes to Grand place. The room (Cuba) was stylish and rather unique. Very big and comfortable bathroom.
Room (Cuba) is small for 2 persons and the bed was very uncomfortable. price per night is rather high.
Location close to metro tram and in the city center Themed room(japan)
A bit small room (japan)
The hotel is beautiful and in the heart of town. friendly staff. I stayed in Morocco room, following a free upgrade
nothing really :-)
Very well decorated bedroom with turquoise as the dominant colour. Excellent location and friendly staff.
A very warm, humorous and friendly welcome after a stressful time getting there on a national strike day - unexpected upgrade - across the road from the Christmas market and a late check out - room and bathroom very warm and cosy.
Nice welcome Very good location
Too much plastic plants and stuff in the room Dusty Bed is too soft
In this day and age of cookie cutter hotels it's nice to find a place that stands apart from the crowd. Hotel Welcome stands apart because it makes you feel like it's the kind of place you would operate if you owned a hotel. The staff is friendly and lives up to the hotel name by making you feel welcome. My room (Zanzibar) was somewhat small, but in a good way. It was the perfect place to crash in the afternoon for a nap to recuperate from jet lag. Comfortable bed, heavy curtain for darkness, and a quiet location without much street noise. The bathroom had a nice mixture of oldworld charm and modern reliability. The shower was a bit tight so if you've got some girth you may want to ask for a bigger suite. TV channel selection has a good international mix but the WiFi did not work well from the room - I had to sit in the lobby to get connected. Breakfast was perfect, with a good selection of just about everything you would expect, in moderate portions. There is something about this little place that just makes you feel "at home" and very comfortable. Perhaps it is because it is everything a big hotel chain is not. The phrase "mass produced" does not come to mind at Hotel Welcome, nor do you receive electronic swipe cards for your room. In fact, my room had a skeleton key. How cool is that? OK, you may think it's not high-tech or secure but the hotel is small enough that they know all of their guests so it wasn't a concern for me. If I had to sum this place up in one word it would be "fun." That's not a word that I've used to describe a hotel since I was a kid and stayed at the Polynesian Hotel in Disneyworld back in the 1970s. If a hotel can make me feel like a kid again, I'm sold.
WiFi reception in the room needs to be improved.
Warm welcome charming staff Bed linen
room very small Nowhere to put anything Bed dipped in the middle with no support Tired and cold breakfast Themed bed rooms bit twee
Excellent location for sights and metro, very clean, staff were helpful, breakfast was good and served till quite late which allowed for a lie in room was lovely
