Hotel Koffieboontje can be found in the cultural heart of Bruges, near the Market Square. The hotel is in a calm, traffic-free street and has a terrace and a bistro.
Score from 1794 reviews Good
Martin’s Brugge is just behind the famous 13th-century Belfry and 185 yards from the Grote Markt. It has a terrace and a cocktail bar, and all rooms have a flat-screen TV.
Score from 2041 reviews Very good
Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minute-drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields.
Score from 240 reviews Wonderful
This hotel features a combination of modern design and medieval architecture in the center of the city, only half a mile from the centrally located Market Square and the Belfry of Bruges.
Score from 958 reviews Good
Location good, close to Brugges and Damme but nice and quiet with lovely surroundings. Hotel decorated beautifully with lovely well kept gardens. Breakfast 'potentially' good.
On our drive through Belgium to hotel we had several missed calls from a fairly agitated hostess asking us at what time we are going to arrive because she had an appointment. We couldn't pick up all the messages immediately and called as soon as we could, when we booked we were told we could arrive between 2-8pm but having received these calls felt under pressure to get there quickly so they could go out. The appointment we later found out was meeting at a bar as we happened to go to the same one. At our first breakfast we had fruit, ham, cheese and jam and mini croissant but no bread, we did think it odd as we couldn't make the most of our breakfast as nothing to put food on as bread main component, thought this may be Belgium custom until on our exit we noticed fresh bread in the kitchen but hostess was nowhere to be seen then. The next day she arrived with bread at breakfast so we politely mentioned that we had no bread yesterday and was unable to make full use of the breakfast and her response was very dismissive and said in a rude manner 'everyone has bread' and walked away with no apology. On settling the bill we again politely said would she give any small concession for the lack of bread, again her response was rude, and unbelieving and said she will call the police which quite frankly was absurd as we were being very polite throughout, she never apologised and we paid the full bill. We certainly will not return to this hotel, a shame as with a different hostess this hotel could be lovely! but her attitude was shocking!
Lovely building, elegant dining room and comfortable bedrooom. Fantastic breakfast.
the host was very friendly and helpful with our wet motorbiking gear (we were on a tour and it kept raining all day) - she took care of it which was very nice. the house, rooms and garden are very well kept, and even though the style is not exactly my taste, it is consistent and i suppose many others will love it. the estate is a bit out of town (about EUR 15 by taxi to get to the city center - if (!!!) you are lucky to find a taxi that's willing to come and pick you up) because of its location on the countryside, it is very quiet there, and excellent place to take a breather from hectic urban life.
unfortunately, the host had a private appointment at night, so flexibility w.r.t. checking in was definitely an issue; be aware that the estate is out on the countryside - it was quite difficult to find a taxi that was willing to pick us up (it was 8:30pm); our room was primarily fitted with light colours (especially floor carpet) so we were a little scared to stain it (which we managed not to)

Location, perfect country design. Very good breakfast. Free parking, nice and big green area on hotel territory.
Quiet, peaceful beautiful location close to nature. Small but very well presented nice breakfast. Being a private lodge, near to private ranches, with natural environment, gardens, the stay gives the feeling of home away from home.
Its is bit far from the Centrum, and not well connected for public transport. Good for people with own conveyance though. To be honest it is not in Bruges , but in the outskirts, and the website fails to mention that. Even the very first two pictures in the website are incorrect. But overall it was really a nice place.
The setting was beautiful and very quiet with just a short drive into Brugge. Spacious rooms with adjustable heating. Perfect amount of towels that smelt lovely.
Smell of cigarette smoke drifting through from kitchen into guest area.
Great location very comfortable and a gorgeous breakfast
We asked for a non smoking room however the room smelt of stale smoke
the atmosphere of the place - nice and relaxing the owner was very involved and met our every needs. Offered us information about how to get to city center - it was very welcome
there used to be a bus to city center - but that got pulled by city. I would suggest a more comfortable bed. the thin mattress over wooden slats made for some dis-comfort.
