I've stayed there frequently and I like the folk who run it. It's not fancy, it's not flashy but it's easy to get to, decent breakfast and inexpensive
We chose it due to the price. Staff were helpful and location was good (we could walk to all of the main sights).
We were up on the top floor. It was a bit run down (as in wires sticking out of the walls in the hallway). I suspect the lower floors were a bit nicer.
the locationen is very good! 5 minutes to metro or in the inner city! the bathroom was clean, the price very good, wlan is okay.
the bathroom is small, the bed was not very comfortable, the wall are thin. there is no elevator until the 5th floor - only to the 4th floor. no breakfast bevor 7.30 o'clock. it was very hot in the rooms.
The staff was very friendly and kind. Great location, near an underground station and 10 mins walking from the Grand Place. Two stops away from Midi/Zuid train station.
The bed and the pillows were not comfortable.
Could leave our cases behind the desk after checkout
Broken furniture in the room Broken toilet flush Bathroom not properly cleaned Dirty toilet Burnt bulb in bedroom(room was dark) Poor breakfast.
Hotel was situated close to Brussels center and food places. Walking distance to train station
Room was very basic no hangers or doors on wardrobe.. Shower was dirty and the general up keep of the room was not good ... It was a cheap place to stay so I suppose you get wot you pay for . We were a group of 4 guys so it was a head down for us but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you were a couple or a family it would get a rating of 4/10 for me
Old,dirty building, missing a lot in the room, lack of light in the room and bathroom, was unable to unpack due to missing shelves, old, dirty and very hard to close 3 panel doors in the shower, previous guests long black hair in the basin, poor WiFi,much nicer on photos then in real life.Never again!
- very dirty - all forniture is old and "used"
There is a parking place in front of the hotel.
Room was old and poor. Bed was hard like rock. Elevator was too old and not secure. They know nothing about what breakfast is. It was so poor.
I would not recommend this hotel to anybody else because the internet was almost dead within mentioned accommodation.
the location was close to station and grand place. staff were helpful and allowed us to check in early and kept our bags safely stored after checkout. hotel suitable for people who want a simple place to stay.
the bathroom had no shower curtain and no lock. wifi was poor.
It is close to the railway station.
The position is very close to the center, you can reach almost everything on foot (we never used public transportation), the staff is available 24/7 and is very kind and friendly.
The wifi connection wasn't that good.
Terrifying district for white women. I wanted to see the city but I did not dare to go out of the hotel after the 10-minute walk there around 19 pm. The room itself was stinking canalisation. Absolut no go.
Location Near Midi train station
Bad staff Poor breakfast Horrible elevator
The location was brilliant and in this context, the price was great. The staff was very nice, present 24/7. We could leave our luggage at the reception after having checked out.
Wifi kept disconnecting me on a HP laptop and did not work on a mac, which was very annoying. The shower could have been cleaner. The room itself was filled with slight stench - after five minutes you don't know it was there but it makes bad first impression.
Close to the Grand' Place and the train station (Gare du Midi).
Rooms are on a noisy street and not very comfortable.
15min by foot from the Central railway station and the same - from the Grand Place
very old, almost ruined hotel, very dirty, dark rooms with windows looking at the opposite rooms. feels rather like a brothel, then a hotel
Very good breakfast. Staff polite and friendly. Enormous bathroom with full size bath, bright and spacious
Too many fabric furnishings in the bedroom. There was an old carpet, heavy curtains and blankets on the bed. It would have been much more comfortable with tiled or laminate floor and light duvets.
The Smell of the room The broken bathroom exhaust fan The window overlooked a drain filled with water and cigarette butts which smelled No natural light in room
location, clean sheets, friendly staff
Near Rouppe Place, which is not far from the subway station, but not so noisy.
helpful staff, good location, good and free wifi
one of the rooms didn´t have a shower holder, and the other room had a strange smell
Parking on premises (free at night/pay during day) and plenty of street parking for free right outside.
Major road plus lots of cafés nearby equals LOUD noises all night. People yelling, traffic, etc.
