Alpin Hotel  

Alpin Hotel was excellent and we are very pleased we stayed there. It is a much smaller hotel than the others in Borovets and the staff there were excellent. We were a bit worried about Bulgarian food after reading reviews but we could not fault it at all, in fact, most of the restaurants in Borovets were brilliant. The Alpin Hotel offers ski hire and lessons and the staff at the hire centre are great, they have a sense of humour and are very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

The only negative about the hotel is the spa in that you have to book the jacuzzi in advance (if you are staying in a double room) as it is such a small hotel. It costs a bit more than the Rila hotel over the road (22 bgn per tub at Alpin and 6bgn per person at the Rila). However, you will be sharing with a number of people as opposed to having your own intimate experience at the Alpin.

We liked almost everything at the hotel. The room and the lobby were even more lovely than the photos in the site. Beds were comfortable and all the surroundings and the certain location of the hotel made us feel even much better. Thanks to those people who made this place with such a taste. We would love to be there again.

The manner of the Bulgarian waitress arise and in here. We sat in the beautiful restaurant smiling and I just asked something about my dish, and the answer was simply "I don't know". She didn't do anything more. She just didn't care. Sorry that we could not taste the food, but I could not stand that indifference. After all, this is not a reason not to go, to the hotel. You can just eat in some other place. The hotel is nice and I would recommend it.
