Perfect place for both a short and a longer holiday - musts are the Roman forum and at least the nearby history museum and art gallery. The Neolithic dwellings museum is a walking distance away from the centre. The pedestrian and bazaar areas are full of nice cafes and restaurants. There are several beautiful parks in Stara Zagora worth a visit. The city has a pleasant atmosphere and people are friendly and helpful.

I'm guessing people have a specific reason to go there. I had one, which was travelling and performing with the choir I'm in. I really liked Stara Zagora and I would go back again. Lots of parks and green spaces. Lovely cafes and restaurants. Really useful market and shops. Lots of walks to go on. Easy to get to countryside.

I was there for 1 night for business. The hotel is in a horrible place between a building site, a housing estate and behind a damp yard and a dilapidated facade. It looks nothing like on the photo and the proprietors should be fined for deformation. I hwve taken photographs as an evidence. However, I know the booking.com will do nothing to refind my money, so i am not going to fight for my losses. I am a business partner on booking.com and my rooms are impeccable and luxurious compared to this hotel.

Lovely town with lots of historical sites, parks, nice walking areas and spa facilities with mineral water nearby. Exceptional museums: Regional History Museum, Museum of Neolithic Dwellings, Museum of Religion, etc. The local state opera is great too.

Stara Zagora is a very clean city.
Stara Zagora is a very clean city. The city centre is well maintained. The Ayazmoto park is wonderful, with lots of facilities for the kids. A rope garden route for the kids in the park is for free. The zoo is nice, with lots of animals in well maintained cages and yards. People are friendly and helping. You have a feeling of being welcome to Stara Zagora.
I don't know what this facility was before, but it is perfectly renovated and very suitable for Aparthotel. Self-check-in system is quite useful. Rooms are not small and are equipped with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are really, really large. Quite good for wet adventures ;)
Location is good enough - not in the centre but not very far by walking. There is a parking lot in front and also a burger shop.
A wonderful family hotel, located in a very calm quarter of the city, away from the noise and the road, so much well decorated and furnished, that creates a very warm atmosphere. The room was extremely clean, which makes your stay very pleasant. The host was really friendly, helpful and polite. We didn't want to leave. I highly recommend hotel "Mania" as it will make your stay in Stara Zagora unforgettable.
Nice, cozy, quiet, clean and very warm apartment having in mind that it was almost 0° outside in the evenings. The location is great right at the center of the city. It is quiet enough having in mind that it's close to a big boulevard. The owner gave very specific information with pictures how to enter the apartment, which was extremely helpful. I would stay again, on my next trip to Stara Zagora.
Perfect location - virtually a street away from the main pedestrian area. Private secured parking is a priceless asset to the property due to its central location. Spotlessly clean. Very cosy and modern design. The flat is equipped with everything man may need for its town stay. The owners are very nice and helpful. This will definitely be our place to stay when visiting Stara Zagora.
We stayed at this hotel in September 2023 and were veary pleased about everything. The communication with them was very clear and fast, hotel is easy to be found, they have parking place, the room is nice, large, clean and welcoming based on our standards. Staff is very friendful and willing to help. Breackfast is good. The rate quality-price is very attarctive. We recommend.
Perfectly clean, very spacious, with everything that you need in the kitchen, even some minibar products in the fridge, TV sets in each room, fast internet, walking distance to the city centre and to the best park. It's the perfect apartment to explore Stara Zagora from and I would definitely stay there again.
Friendly and polite staff, clean facilities, multiple rooms, pleasant room decoration and amenities such as air conditioner in each room. The appartment is located in the vicinity of the main city park, yet it is quite close to downtown Stara Zagora. Highly recommended - especially for foreign visitors.
Close to the main street and train station. Good size room and bathroom. Room also had a balcony. The owner was extremely helpful when I had an electrical problem (personal, not a hotel problem) Thankyou.
Please get some cat food to help the cats who hand around by the restaurant opposite
the most comfortable room we experienced from all our trip to Bulgaria. Tidy room, clean design and excellent bed.
The receptionist are fluent in English, very polite and welcoming. The hotel is modern and well maintained.
reasonable price for the given quality.
Great locaiton on the lake in Stara Zagora, very high class hotel, the rooms are huge and beutifully designed. The bathroom includes both shower and a jacuzzi. The pool is nice, the breakfast is typical but the restaurant itself is beutifull.
The hotel is located close to the center, parking in the underground garage, varied breakfasts, the rooms have very comfortable beds, a large spacious bathroom, the hotel is very clean, the tv and wifi work, very nice and helpful staff.
Very well maintained. Good room finishing and the owner has a very well kept greenery. Don’t let the drive out of the city be a deterrent. Very nice family run hotel. Great breakfast!
Room was cozy and clean. Toiletries were as expected. Breakfast was great - both food and personnel. Free parking was right across the hotel's entrance and had a security camera.
The quality is far better than the price. It is a unique hotel that is a place that I will ever remember, and I will come back on the first opportunity.
