Nice location, within walking distance from center of Sofia. Large rooms, very quite. Breakfast was mostly ok, not so many varieties of food. Overall, a marvellous located business hotel for one-two days trip to Sofia

Very central and convenient location, close to public transport, shops, restaurants, etc. Spacious room with a large bathroom (separate walk in shower and bathtub, separate toilet). High quality bathroom products. Wifi internet was free and fast and with excellent in-room coverage. I could book a smoking room. The antique ruins below the lobby are unusual and interesting in their own right. Although a 5 star category, this hotel is really more of a 4 star establishment. Hotel and room furnishings are not particularly luxurious. Room amenities are basic: no iron, no coffee making facilities, nearly empty minibar. Service was impersonal and cold. The hotel restaurant is very expensive by local standards.

This is probably one of the best hotels in Sofia, with very competitive rates. Location is nothing but perfect, staff is super friendly, polite and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious. Quite happy with the room service as well. We enjoyed our stay very much! Definitely will recommend to other people!

Off season and the hotel felt empty. That said, the ground floor restaurant was open with excellent food. The spa looked impressive (but we didn't have time to do more than look) cleverly wrapped around the remains of an ancient Roman amphitheater. A new facility, it's a little hard to locate initially (it's tucked-in-and-quiet in spite of being very central) but an easy walk to many of the sights and a great discovery.

It is ideally located in a nice sunny quiet little european capital within walking distance of all the interesting sites. The hotel and neighborhood are very quiet, it has largish well appointed rooms and the staff is nice, english speaking for the most part. Even using a consolidator website it seems very expensive for a city like Sofia. And it seems empty all the time which may suggest that the price is keeping people away

Beautiful room in an excellent location - close to everything in the city center. The old ruins within the hotel are interesting but that's it. Desk staff can be friendlier and more helpful.

Good breakfast and good location West price in an east country. the hotel and the services they offer (excurtions) and breakfast are quite expensive comparing the "prices on the street. It's more expensive the breakfast in the hotel that a good dinner in a restaurant! The restaurant in the hotel was closed despite they said it was opened.
