Hotel Arena Di Serdia is located just 10 min to walk from the main shopping street. It's a nice hotel. Rooms are big a very pleasantly decorated. What was very nice, after a long day in the conference, the hotel offers a nice wellness facilities. The only things we have missed was swimming pool. For the rest this is a very nice hotel to stay in. |

The lobby entrance is great with views down to the old ruins. The waiter in the restaurant was excellent as was the food. A lack of staff, the cold water tap for the bath didn't work, winter duvet's for high summer, no balcony, no coffee making facilities, toiletries were not replenished and the 'ordered' breakfast was a complete foul up. |

The location is good, few minutes away walking distance to the city center and Vitosha Street, very nice large, comfortable rooms, with luxurious bathrooms. The lobby has an interesting attraction - the old walls of Serdica fortress are integrated into the lobby! Underground garage was also an important aspect. |

Enough space in the room. Calm area, close to the Center of the city. You can see excavations thousand years old in the hotel. Excellent , unique in the world. |

The room was very nice, The bathroom shower area especially. Flat screen televison. The breakfast was poor for a hotel of this catagory The personnel in the breakfast area was lazy. Had to wait for coffee. For the price it was good. I would have been very disappointed had I paid the full price. I was charged E 7.50 for one tiny bottle of wine and a small bag of chips. |

Facilities were great, but the staff was absolutely cold, indifferent and unhelpful. The hotel management needs to be aware that their staff needs training in customer service and friendliness. Yes, the staff (concierges, bar & bistro staff, waiters). The staff is devoid of friendliness, the ability to smile and say hello. Perhaps the hotel hired mute staff? |

Location - in the center of town. The ruins inside made the hotel special. The staff was helpful - however some of them were still not fluent in English. The hotel was reasonably priced during my first visit may 2 to 5th - 2009. The rooms were spacious. Overall, it was a good experience - I would stay there again if the price is right. I paid $133 per night. 5 Star Hotel should have a doorman opening the door not smoking a cigaratte and watching you open the door from a distance. Some of decor is kind of tacky from a designer's point of view. The window treatments in the main areas - just horrible. The non stop techno music at breakfast time was kind of loud. The staff should speak better English and have better knowledge of the country. |

Free internet in the room; reception staff; clean, pleasant room; good-size bathroom and shower Breakfast selection was poor for such a hotel; walls too thin - I was constantly kept awake by neighbours on both sides either watching TV or showing/using the toilet. No paper handkerchieves supplied |

This was my third time staying here, but this time I was shock as I got a room with huge marks on the carpit, which I asked to be cleaned but I got the answer that it was no dirt just some chemical marks....Did not make me feel comfortable. Awful view from the room. |

We strongly appreciated kindness and preparation of the staff 1) The quality of light design in some of the common areas was not at a five stars hotel level 2) The christmas decoration scattered all around the hotel |

The History of the Roman foundations. The room service and food was superb. As a gay couple we found it a bit embarassing that we were questioned about a double room a few times leaving me feel uncomfortable and asking for a twin! |
