There was no heating in the apartment. There were two cold days with daily high temperature of around 15 degrees Celsius and a nightly low of 6 degrees Celsius. The heaters in the room didn't seem to work, so I called the reception where I got the answer that the heating season starts at December 1st. They asked for 5 EUR/night to install additional heaters in the room. I expected that if the temperatures go down so low, heating should be provided at no additional cost.
There is no WiFi in the hotel, except for the reception area and the restaurant. However, an ethernet cable is provided at no additional charge that you can use to plug in a laptop to the wired LAN socket in the room. The cable can be pretty short, so you'll probably want to move the chair next to the wall socket if you want to use the laptop for browsing the internet. The internet connection itself was pretty stable, I must say.
The indoor pool is open only during the winter season. If the weather is cold and it's not winter, still only the outdoor pool is at your disposal.
The location is great, next to the gondola and Bansko Mall.
The yard had an outdoor pool, a beach volleyball court, darts, etc...
The apartment that we stayed in was very spacious and it had the basic furniture and kitchenware. Towels were changed every day and so was the apartment cleaned.
The breakfast in the "Zero degrees" restaurant was very, very good. Some days it was a buffet style breakfast and some days it was a la carte, with a choice of approx. six different options. We had the BB option only, but I could see that the dinner for those with HB option was really good. We actually had dinner in the restaurant couple of times and everything that we ordered was so delicious. Hence, I don't know why some of the reviews mentioned that the food (especially the dinner) was not good.
