The hotel is located next door to the Inter Expo Centre which was very convenient if you are attending events there. A couple of the hotel staff were very helpful, but this was the exception. Most of the hotel staff were very unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. There were also multiple problems with my room. The air-con/heating didn't work and I was given 3 different kettles/jugs - none of which worked. I gave up asking. The breakfast choice was very poor and the reception didn't provide the wake up for the time I requested. |

The rooms were comfortable and the beds were good. The hotel breakfast did not invite eating too much (in this case a good thing), but it did provide sufficient variety. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful, the restaurant personnel not really (but that seems to be typical for Eastern Europe). Even though the hotel is actually not too bad, the location is not nice at all. It is at the outskirts of Sofia in an industrial area, hard to reach by bus. You can't even go for a short walk in the neighborhood. Ideal for meetings in the Expo Center, just next to the hotel. In other cases, I would definitely recommend picking a hotel closer to the city center. |

Convenient to the airport Be careful to check that the restaurant and room service will be open to guests because of a wedding party had completely taken over the restaurant and the hotel cancelled room service. Internet access was also not available. |

Staff was friendly and helpfull. Windows did not open. A/c working only on +27 C! Water from the bath was coming into the room and the smell was very bad. Conversations and TV from next door could be heard at all times. |
