The parking was great and the room was clean. We were only staying one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a very busy part of town and was a little difficult to locate.

I enjoyed a lot our holiday at Bisser Hotel, Balchik. It has a good location if you want to visit Queen's Maria of Romania Palace & gardens (they offer you a five days subscription at the price of one visit - 10 leva/adult, 5 leva/child). Also we have met only friendly personnel and all little problems were solved quickly. For example, we wanted additional chairs in our three SUPERIOR ROOMS (with balconies from where we admired the sea early in the morning or in the afternoon), and in only 30 minutes they brought. We have many words of appreciation for this hotel! Mr. Emil Lazarov is a good manager and he kindly replied by email to all our questions before going there. We strongly recommend Bisser Hotel to people who enjoy a peaceful city and have a good physical condition (hundreds of stairs in this city to go up and down)! :-) I have two suggestions to make: (1) a more consistent breakfast, (2) soap & hair dryer in the bathrooms.

The hotel is located very close to Queen Maria castel. The exterior pool is large and clean. The location is surrounded by forest and it is very quite. The local restaurants are great and cheap and also there is a supermarket in the proximity. It is to far from the seaside and in order to reach the beach you need to descend a very steep hill. There is no light when you return from the beach, and you should use a flashlight. There is no proper beach. The breakfast is bad and could be easily skipped.

The location is good, the pool is big, the food is variety and enough. The superior room have a nice sea view. In the first day we did't have any kind of current water but they said it was a city problem. The room cleaning was superficial. They have not change our towels during our stay. The way to seaside from the hotel, is unlit and wild.

Beautiful hotel with good guests who were quiet and respectful, good location and view from hotel. Very big and comfortable rooms. The nearby discotheques were very loud at all hours of the night so we had to sleep with the windows shut. The room service could have been better in terms of room cleanliness. And the breakfast was terrible, it needs to be better quality.

First , it is a 1 star hotel, we took a picture of a poster on the door that said so . The first night we stayed in the Superior rooms, which are horrible, they look like a high school dormitory after a big fight when every thing is destroyed and rusty. Even the sheets were dirty. At breakfast they serve you expired disgusting food in very small quantities. If you can imagine we had 2 bread loafs fried and covered in egs and something like 50 g of honey and 50 g of cheese, that was all. If you park at the entrance of the hotel is not ok and the receptionists don't tell you, that area is a private parking and the next day you pay 1 euro per hour . We had to move our car on an narrow alley in a 30 degrees slope. The second day we moved to a so called renovated room, with air conditiong that of course didn't work. They didn't have "hygienic products" in the bathrooms, that means you had to bring your own soap and toilet paper.

Nice, open, helpfull and quick acting staff. What they promised they made. Good location, nice view from superior room. Rooms are really renovated although not too big. Not enough parking space. Breakfast - it's smth you better forget and don't waste time for it. If it's contintntal in the offer - it' ok, but I would like to get coffee in glass, not plastic horrible cup. Also it would be better if the area of the hotel complex would be closed for strangers passing by. There should be a light on the stairs from the hotel to the beach.

It's a very nice hotel, in process of modernization, with a great location. Some rooms have a wonderful sea-view. Perfect to enjoy fresh breeze, away of any busy, hectic city. N/A.

The location, right next to the castle. The room we stayed in was NOT a superior room, as we were told (it had the bathroom of a lower category and no sea-view whatsoever). When we told this to the hotel staff, she replied she is not responsible for the photos on the booking website. The room hadn't been swept for ages, there was dust and gabage under the bed. The breakfast is very poor, my suggestion is to skip it and go eat something decent at a nearby terrace. The overall feeling is that you fell into a mass-tourism trap.

Not a bad place, it's a pretty big old hotel with some remodelled parts. We only stayed one night so I can't really complain. Breakfast was definitely not good compared with every other Bulgarian hotel.

I liked the position of the hotel that allows you to watch the sea in the evening. For the price paid, I liked the renovated rooms. They are pretty decent for 30 euro per night. I didn't liked the breakfast. I didn't liked the pool, was too small if there were more than 15 people inside. I didn't liked that you can't pay with your card, you have to go an atm and get some cash from there. I didn't liked the toilets. In my room there were necessary several flushes until everything was ok. And I didn't liked the wirelles network. The internet was up and running only after 6 o'clock. In every morning was stopped.

Even if the room was very basic, it was very clean. We had a room with the view to the courtyard and it was quiet during the night. The swimming pool was excellent. The staff tried to be very helpful and even if they couldn't offer us an upgrade, they showed us more economy rooms to choose from. The location in the proximity of the bus stop and near the castle and the beach was perfect. The breakfast was the worse ever, you should better consider that it doesn't exist. The hotel is more like a 1 star accommodation, for the money paid it's probably a fair deal.

We spent 1 week in Bulgaria and stayed all this time at the Bisser Hotel. Great location, very good personal (big thank you to Emil!) and really good value for money! We would reccomed this hotel to anybody. Please note that original reservation through booking.com was for economy room but we ended up upgrading to better room As couple other people already mentioned, the breakfast is something that can be improved but 2 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a street full of restaurants that are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and are really inexpensive. If you like fresh towels - just ask staff and they will be happy to change them :)

easy to find 1. interior yard will almost wreck your cars suspension, very bumpy ride to your parking space; 2. there are 3 types of rooms, economy, comfort and superior. Only superior rooms are decent. My comfort room had a very poor balcony and access door, infected ceiling and the bathroom had a strange smell to it; 3. the included breakfast is a bad joke: suspicious eggs, old (darken) cheap meat, 2006 expired jam and plastic wrapped chocolate bar (also on your plate); 4. towels were the only bathroom accessories, no soap or shampoo.

I liked the hotel room for one star, because it has two stars only on site, free wireless internet, quiet night, parking in courtyard, clean pool, air conditioning, new furniture. The worst thing is that I left the room I shut the door 2 times and afternoon when I returned the door was unlocked. Thank God nothing has disappeared. Perhaps the maid forgot to lock. For 4 days or not changed towels and the shower drain was not working too well. Surface cleaning. Breakfast execrable, you better miss, horrible coffee served in disposable plastic cups. The beach is wild and those likely to you mamance of snakes. Unique view of the sea as it was presented on the site was the absence of some trees, bushes outside of anything.
