Hotel Dafi enjoys a central location in Plovdiv next to Djumaya Square. It offers elegant and spacious rooms with free WiFi internet access. The rooms are soundproofed and offer cable TV.

The Bright House is in the very center of Plovdiv, just off the main street, and offers apartments with kitchenettes and free internet access.

Score from 20 reviews Wonderful
Benefit from the prime central location of Hotel Noviz, which is close to the Bunardzhik National Park and only a 7-minute drive from the International Plovdiv Fair and the Railway Station.
Score from 131 reviews Good
Central location, clean rooms, a lot of free parking space around the hotel.
Cheesy style with tiger bedsheets and 'golden' taps, strange host. Quality seemed too low for rather high price.
Very friendly owner, perfect location, great comfort and facilities,
Can not think of anything
location, the decor
hard to find
It is very simple. This is a FANTASTIC hotel!!!! Very very good. I travel on 5 continents and the welcome here is one of the best in the WORLD. Please discount comments about the street - if you want a hotel in the centre of a medieval town then you expect cobblestones. No better hotel or location in Plovdiv. Fact. Passionate owner has built a top quality palace with his own hands. Excellent address, great price
Everything was EXCELLENT. No problems.
The rudest staff I've ever seen, thinking he's God on Earth. Rude jokes and gestures, even with ladies present. A/C/heater not working. Shower overflowing. No windows. Trying to cheep cheat on the bill (false exchange rate, extra coffees, extra commission). Run away !
The location is great. But the room has no windows!
They offer rooms without windows. Therefore, the room prize is excesive. They indicate in the hotel descripcion that they offer free parking. This is not true. They show you where to park in the street.
We stayed in the "budget" room with only artificial light which happen to be in the basement. Overall it was good. The décor was nice and felt more "rich" than the actual cost. The included breakfast was continental that included 1 hard boiled egg and assortment of pastries, meats and cheeses and orange juice. Was adequate. The view off the back deck was really nice. Location was good.
Was a little challenging to find with our car. The streets in Old Town are narrow, bumpy and one way. We ended up parking about .6 miles away and carrying our stuff to the hotel. None of that is the hotel's fault, but be aware if you are not accustom to walking on uneven ground.
Good location in the old town. The hotel is very well decorated and furnished, our room was large and very comfortable. There is a lovely view of the city from the terrace.
If travelling by car make sure you have a detailed map of the old town because the hotel is tricky to find and sat-nav won't help. Parking is in a narrow street opposite the hotel.
Good position in old town. Breakfast was good.
The lovely ornate lounge which is on the web site was not available for us to use. We were told it was only for people coming for meetings. Although previous reviews have said Boris was 'charming' this wasn't evident during out stay.
More than excellent location for the old inner town. Roman theater just a few 100m away. Parking free of charge just across the hotel. Friendly Bulgarian host/staff, English speaking.
When by car, to avoid driving around multiple times in the narrow one-way Streets of the inner city, it helps to know that the hotel can only be reached by passing the guard post. Upon departure, breakfast was only scheduled for 8am, which is a bit unhandy when one needs to leave at 7am. This was however accomodated fairly quickly on the spot. Also, due to unfortunate bad signal reception, the credit card connection needed for payment did not work, so a walk down to the shopping Streets for the nearest ATM to get cash proved necessary. However, alltogether this unfortunately led to being late for the appointment by more than an hour.
Boris! The location. The decor. The wine. But mostly boris.
The fact that Boris wasn't a 'Bulgarian street fighter' like previous reviewed alleged.
Very good location, closed to shopping street in city centre. Very good furnitures, confortable room condition. it has own style like Palace. wi-fi always available and working great.
for 4 years child bad, we had to pay extra money per day.
The location was great, right in the old center and the view was great. I liked that we were able to find a parking place. The hotel looked great, the room was big and comfortable and everything was extremely clean. I would recommend this hotel!
There is only thing that bothered us, and if the owner Mr. Boris is reading this, I would suggest him to be more friendly and stop making bad comments in bulgarian. The friends that brought us to the hotel were bulgarians and understood everything he said. Not nice!
Host Boris is great!
Located in the heart of the old part of the town, the hotel is really impressive. The price of accommodation is much smaller than accommodation conditions. Mr. Boris, the owner of the hotel, is a character that will definitely be pleased to chat. Tip: Ask Mr. Boris to show all the floors, you will certainly be amazed by what you will see.
We were ripped off and insulted by aggressive staff!!! For our wedding night we had booked a studio but instead we were given room 202, which Booking.com presents as a 'double or twin room'. This room is cheaper and does not offer all the amenities of a studio. We did not notice at first because we were preoccupied and exhausted from our long wedding day. The next morning my wife calmly asked a middle-aged male staff member about the mistake, and he immediately exploded in a rage and started shouting insults at her!!! We did not want this man's aggressive, threatening behaviour to ruin our memories of our wedding so we left immediately! Hotel Boris Palace furthermore appears to be unsafe. It is in an old, historic building constructed largely of wood. However, we noticed that there was no sign in our room showing where to exit the building in the event of a fire. We also did not notice any other 'in case of emergency' signs or fire extinguishers anywhere in the building. Bulgaria is an EU country with strict fire regulations and hotels are required by law to adhere to them. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody! We have stayed in numerous hotels throughout Bulgaria and staff are always professional, friendly and polite. In other hotels in Bulgaria we have always felt safe, not threatened. If you visit Plovdiv, stay somewhere else!!!
