Bright House  

Easy 1-2 block walk to old-town pedestrian area. Apartments are large would be great for a longer stay. Very clean. We'd stay there again.

A bit tough to find in the midst of narrow one-way streets. Not a problem if you print a map, gps got us close but not all the way there. Don't plan on seeing a sign or wandering to find it. Google maps doesn't show it, but shows Daffy Hotel which is right next door.

Hotel is with excellent location, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just in the city center and is close to shops, restaurants, super market etc. Mentioning the last in case you have a longer stay and are bored from restaurant food, the bright house flat came with some pots, cutlery, plates etc, so we were able to prepare a meal one time.. What other people say ab.breakfast being served in the night before is true, however no big deal, its covered with plastic wrap and is fine on the next day. Indeed it consists of 2 slices of ham, cheese, boiled egg and some olives+a small cake, but we found it enough and for the price paid we cannot expect more I guess. However the people were kind and offered if we are bored from this breakfast to offer us other(E.G. Croissants). The shower as mentioned by other people has no separation and the water goes all over the bathroom floor, but there is that rubber"mop"? And is very quick to just push the water down the drain after the shower and use the floor towel provided by the hotel. No major inconvenience however. We arrived around x mas and the flat had some decoration as well, which made our stay a bit cozier.

There is nobody to help us for our baggage-no elevators-poor breakfast

Clean, pleasant, quiet hotel in the center of Plovdiv. High level of service and customer satisfaction. As a young couple, we felt great in this hotel and we will for sure book an apartment there next time.

The breakfast could be richer ;-) But poor breakfasts are typical for almost all Bulgarian hotels.

The location and the price

The residence lack of elevator. Poor breakfeast. Poor condition of the bathroom.

Nice furnished, close to city center. Nice stay but better without breakfast.

Hard to be reached with car. Very narrow streets with cars parked very uncivilized. But traffic in Plovdiv and Bulgaria is very badly organized in general. Breakfast was not good. They brought us evening before bread, ham, butter, peach and few olives. Coffee was instant sort of coffee with milk which was hardly drinkable. Tea was O.K.

After reading previous reviews the accommodations were as we expected. The facilities were clean and in very good condition. Everything was in working order. Items in the refrigerator were reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful in answering questions about nearby facilities. The location allowed us convenient access to nearby sites of the old city. Overall I would recommend and use Bright House again on a return visit.

We were prepared for the simple breakfast. It was a little disappointing but we knew what to expect. Some seasonal fruit would have been a nice addition to the breakfast.

Room is very clean. Staff is friendly. Supermarket is located nearby.

Kitchen is not equipped with kettle.

Per Bulgaria's standards - good to very good hotel/guest house. Comfortable and clean apartment with two TVs but no place to put your suitcase (except on the floor); almost luxury surroundings but breakfast for the next day brought in at 5 pm the previous day in a seran-wrapped plate.... As a native Bulgarian who "speaks" the culture these discrepancies do not irritate me or surprise me, as I have seen much, much worse. Altogether this is very good value for money, yet I would stop short of rating the facility "superb"
