Benefiting from a central location in the heart of Burgas, Hotel Bulgaria has nice accommodations with magnificent views of the Gulf of Burgas or the center of the city.

Right next to Burgas’ Sea Garden Casino, Hotel Gran Via offers rooms with a balcony overlooking the Garden Park. The cafe-bar has a nice terrace and the beach is 300 ft away.
Score from 187 reviews Very good
Breakfast. Stained carpets. Toiletries.
Very modern hotel, in an excellent location and adequate parking facilities. Good breakfast and beautiful view from the restaurant.
Rooms a bit small.
The hotel is very near to the main street, the train and bus stations. The beach and the park are also not far away.
The Wi-Fi connection was very poor and unreliable. The bed was ok, but the pillows were really high and uncomfortable. The breakfast had some choice, but don't expect wide variety. Some of the products seemed old, we found mold growing on some of the pieces of bread. The juice it's not freshly made, it's not even made by fruits but it's a simple Tang and it was awfully sweet. When we were leaving we were held waiting at the reception desk until the stuff got confirmation that we didn't stole something from the minibar or caused some damage to the room. Truly awful treatment of the guests!
location, near to the railway station
very bad air con, was to hot in the room...
- The location within the city is very good. - The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. - Enough parking spots (including cost-free ones).
- The air conditioning system was barely functioning. - The fan in the bathroom was clogged, so that after taking a shower the bathroom was wet and stuffy for more than an hour. - The shower curtain was sticky and dirty. - After the maid "cleaned" the room, we found the bed cover thrown in the corner of the room. - We found an old blister of pills between the bed and the bed stand when we first entered the room. - The breakfast was awful and obviously prepared days ago.
Great location tucked away in a quiet side street opposite Burgas train and bus stations and next to the main pedestrianised shopping and restuarant/bar streets. Deluxe double was a large and very clean double room.
Non-smoking room smelt of smoke. Breakfast was not great, even the coffee and the orange juice were undrinkable. You expect more when you pay this much for a hotel.
May i suggest you tale pillows out of plastic bags- will help
-location is good, it is very near from train station, bus station, and shopping area - wifi in the room is very good
- too much noise of the fan in the bathroom. You have to turn it off, but this will turn off the light in the bath room as well. - breakfast is very poor - there are mosquito in the room. Actually, there are three mosquito in the room, this is really bad.
I have been upgraded to suite
Was very good very comfortable room with triple bed.
Location is perfect
Pillow is funny
location is great, staff is helpful and very polite
Breakfast was awful, even in a 25bgn leva hostel would be better!
Bathroom of suit room
Breakfast awful !!
Friendly reception .
Smell bad ( smoke smell and stings smell ) noise at night . not clean bed cover . small room , expensive .
Staff were really friendly. They went out of their way to find me secure, free parking.
Close to the sea side and down ton
The personal , when we asked for official invoce ,taken 40 min just to have it , seems in Bulgaria. That is generally difficult .. be aware of taxi drivers _ they try to cheat as much they can !!!!!
good in all respects
good location- close to city centre
the room was small, the price too high
Breakfast and the young lady serving at the breakfast was friendly and professional
The receptionists weren't great. Taking the passports without explanation. Also, the hotel was dark. I understand a desire to be eco-friendly, but the sensors for the hall lights need to be improved. Walking down dark hallways in the middle of the night isn't fun.
Free WIFI, view form Restaurant
AC was not working good, very loud. Poor breakfast, lov quality. Room was not prepered. Hotel has 4 stars but they are BG ones...
The hotel is ideal if you have a short stopover in the town and want to be right next to the main pedestrian area for shopping and restaurants. The hotel is also very close to communication hubs such as the train station, so as a stopover/passing-through pause, it doesn't get much more convenient. The pedestrian area offers several good restaurants within 10 minutes walk (best one is Ocean on LHS about 300m from hotel), and most things a medium Bulgarian town has to offer. The hotel itself is modern, clean and has some parking.
No swimming pool (for some reason, I assumed that it had, maybe I misread the brochure, so I was disappointed as I had travelled with a young child who wanted to go swimming). Also generally no public facilities or services at all. The resturant on the top (5th) floor was only open for breakfast and then they promptly asked us to leave as they were shutting, informing us that it "doesn't open in the season"! I wanted to smoke a cigar somewhere but there was nowhere in the hotel to do so, so I had to go to the nearby pedestrian street and sit on a bench. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, the reception was staffed but a poor-humoured and rather rude woman who obviously thought that guests arriving were a major inconvenience to her life. Next day there was a young man on reception who was a lot more friendly and helpful - thus my opinion of staff is very mixed. In general if you are looking for a clean and convenient bed for the night and then moving on next day, this is a good choice, but expect nothing more.
