Restaurant International:
The comfortable and elegant restaurant has a capacity of 250 seats and offers a diversity of meals from the traditional Bulgarian and international cuisines, serving dishes from Europe and Asia. Various dietetic, vegetarian and flambéed meals, barbecue dishes, a variety of meat and fish dishes, as well as fine soft and alcoholic beverages are served.
The name Golden Sands comes from an old legend. Pirates were said to have buried a golden treasure on the coast north of Varna. The land took revenge on the bandits and transformed the gold into sand.
Today, Golden Sands is famous for its nice golden sand and long beaches. Bulgaria's Black Sea coast enjoys a mild climate all year round. The Black Sea beaches are covered with extremely clean sands. Because of its natural beauty, the Bulgarian Black Sea coast has become a famous international resort area.
The Golden Sands resort is 15 km north of the city of Varna and near the Golden Sands National Park. It is a magnificent resort, the largest one on the northern Black Sea coast, with densely forested hills, white and golden beaches and a clear blue sea. There are many very famous and ancient mineral springs, which have a flow of 150 metres per second and were already known to the Thracians and the Romans.
The resort’s beach strip is 3.5 km long and up to 100 metres wide. The average air temperature in summer is 27-30 degrees, and the water temperature is 25-28 degrees. Golden Sands suits both sun-worshippers and sightseers because of its proximity to Varna. The third largest town in Bulgaria, Varna is the pearl of the Black Sea coast, with a great number of places of interest.
The resort has wonderful conditions for recreation, entertainment, sports and spa treatment. It is a paradise for children and parents alike and was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag international ecology prize several times.
The cultural and information centre in the complex offers a rich and versatile concert programme, folk music performances and open-air shows. It organizes exhibitions of Bulgarian artists, Bulgarian language classes, folk songs and dances, and fashion shows. You can take part in beauty contests, beer festivals, a parade of retro cars and much more.
Golden Sands resort organizes many sports competitions, games and other fun activities for children. At the children’s sports centres they can ride ponies and shoot with arrows. There is also a slalom slide, miniature golf, computer and electronic games, children’s railways, inflatable castles, a Rolba slide and water toboggan runs.

big room,the price for room
nothing,he was electricity problem and we dont have electricity 4 hours,was incredible,five stars hotel without electricity no elevator ,no air condition,you stay outside from the hotel.nice holiday

Hotel stuff very friendly, amazing view to sea, perfect location. Clean and big room, parking place.
No terrace, not possible to open the window and breath the fresh sea air. Voice insulation between rooms very poor, and aircond can not cools down the room.

the rooms were very nice
the food was not very good i didn't feel it warrented a 5star rating there were no facilities for a hot drink after 9pm you wasn't alowed to use your own kettle in the rooms and they didn't supply one which i felt was very bad.
