Best Western Plus City Hotel  

Hotel is within reasable walking distance of all city centre attractions.Located in relatively quiet district on edge of C.B.D.

Not much, the place is over-rated and no way is this a 4 star hotel

Many things. The air conditining did not work - it was 32 degrees, they said that I should open a window!! There were no bathrobes - 4 star? The bathroom was extremely small We were asked to pay for water The bedding was worn and did not fit the bed The bed was made of concrete - very hard Breakfast was cold and not nice at all

The Staff were very friendly and not simply helpful but actively looking to see if they could help before asked.

This Hotel is an extraordinary experience made possible by the team working there. Great persons that work under the direction of an extraordinary dedicated and competent general manager. From the bell boy to the top this team gives a great customer expérience.

The staff were extremely helpful. They were happy to arrange tours, order taxis, give advice on where to eat and what to see. They were friendly and polite and made our stay on Sofia a very enjoyable and fun weekend. I would be very happy to return to the hotel and would highly recommend it.The manager, Alex, really went the extra mile to make our stay in the hotel very pleasant and relaxing.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! (Thanks to Ioanna and Alex who helped organizing our ski holidays at Borovets). Great location: near nice restaurants, clubs, sights & shopping area. Clean and tidy rooms and hotel. Breakfast (included) exceeded my expectations for the room price.

Nice and friendly, with big rooms and excellent location

it doesn't have a gym and for the sauna you have to ask 1/2 h before, which is rather inconvenient

We loved everything Staff were fantastic food great service second to none. My travelling collegue David Easter has 3 Best Western Hotels in uk and was really impressed with the City Plus he has even taken a couple of idead back to his hotels. I work for Heineken in the UK and have stayed in many hotels over my 30 plus years in the business and this rates up among the best particularly for the frindly and attentive staff. Could not fault anything

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The spa service is awesome with an expert Masseuge providing the best massage ever! Regarding the personnel, they are young professionals with excellent attitude. I managed, once more, to leave my perfume back when I checked out, when I called them next day they informed me that they had found and kept it at the reception desk! Thanks guys, c u next time

The geographic situation is very good (very central but off the main road = quiet!). The staff is helpful and polite (although less smiley than what I've experienced in some other places). Good breakfast. The hotel restaurant is surprisingly good.

Our twin room was somewhat small. There was a strange smell in the corridor- not entirely unpleasant but much too strong. No major complaints though - it was a very comfortable stay.

It was very good experience! Staff was very kind, friendly, explaining us everything we asked... Rooms clean, comfortable. Location of the hotel was very near to the center... Everything was really good, next time for sure we will select the same hotel (of course if the price remains as it was :) )

Very polite and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. Restaurant offered good meal for good value, for hotel guests with 10% price off. Central location, guarded parking facility in front of the hotel. Fast checkout, no need to wait even in the morning hours. Very good choice for business travellers.

Close to city center. Friendly staff

Awful smell in room. After 2 days I found out that the drain in bathroom floor had to be filled with water to keep the bad odor of the drain- system away. After pouring water into it the smell was quickly gone. Bathroom was very small and toilet space nearly impossible for comfortable use because you were squeezed between toilet and shower.
