We really enjoyed our stay, they are very friendly and welcoming. We will surely come back.

quiet family atmosphere, hospitality and warmth with which we were welcomed, clean rooms and cleanliness throughout the hotel, proximity to all interesting points of the city including near the beach and not least the family that owns the hotel are some very pleasant people with whom we had very pleasant conversations

The Viktoria Hotel is situated on the main street of Balchik. The prices are ok, the rooms are very nice and clean and the athmosphere there is very intimate cos there are no noise from the traffic and because the hotel is a small one. The staff is very friendly and they speak very good English and even Romanian. They have a parking lot in front of the hotel and a very nice terrace outside. The sea promenade is 200 meters from the hotel and the beach is also very close.

The shower don't have a delimitation in the bathroom and you will spill the water all over the bathroom's floor and the Wi-Fi connection is bad.

Our rooms at the Viktoria Family Hotel were very spacious, with a small balcony, within a couple of minutes by foot from one of Balchik's beaches, about a fifteen minutes from the palace and botanical gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms had a wet bathroom, but the ventilation was good, so the floor dried within an hour. The breakfast was great, with delicious homegrown pears (early August).

Quick help with confirmation for visa. Good service, very friendly staff. Hotel Viktoria is two-stars hotel (by price), but actually is three- stars hotel (by rooms and service). Hotel is located next to the sea (second line) and not far from city beach (approx. 10 minutes on foot). Good choice for the suitable price.

A charming and clean little hotel in the middle of the downtown, with the port, the beach and the promenade nearby and a helpful and friendly family in the background. My general impression was of *** with the price of low **. I recommend it to all who are looking for a confortable, decent and pleasant recreation on the Bulgarian seaside. Is suitably located whitin 3 minutes from the beach and the marina, quite close to the Castle, has reasonable prices, the food in the morning is not astonishing but not bad either, in brief, it could be a fine place to stay couple of nigths.

First of all, the beds: why to put in a hotel directed towards holliday seekers two small beds instead of a single larger one? I don't think that they are so many couples that are not married to stay in this hotel, so I do not see the purpose of having twin rooms. Secondly, the bathrooms are terrible. They are small, but that ain't the bigest problem. There are no shower rooms whithin. The shower sticks out from the wall, next to the toilet. So, when you want to take a wash, either a really quick one, you make a terrible, terrible mess: the toilet will be wet and all the bathroom's floor inundated. Not so smart choice, though it might had been the cheapest one. The third thing, which made us (my wife and I) to never want to stay in here ever is the "happening" we had in the check-out day. So, at 12.00 someone just tried to burst into our room (good thing I closed whith the key), disregarding to knock at the door, or even to ask if whe are still there. Pointless to say that we already were preparing to leave the room, by taking one last shower after the beach and packing our luggages. But the trial is not yet finished: at 12.15 the telephone rang and a not so pleasent voice comunicated to me: "Is 12.15, you have to get out from the room immediately". It only remain to say: "or else". Not to good for making friends among the guests. So 3 bad issues (and especially the third one) that made all the decent things mentioned above vanish as they never been there. So, even is not such a bad place to stay, considering the money, go at your own risk.

Very nice, kind and friendly people. Good location - just near the see and the beach. Good facilites as for a 3* holel. We were fully content.

Rooms are clean and the furniture is relatively new. A/c works fine. Location is central, convenient. Personnel is supportive and friendly. Minibar prices are low.

There is no sea view room and rooms are relatively small. Bed mattresses do not allow the sheets to fix tight and you end up with them cramped undetneath. Bathroom is poorly equipped: no hairdrier, no shower cabin, no antislip mat (our baby fall twice on the wet floor), no toilet paper holder, no paper napkins and so on. Just the basics. There is no ventilation in the bathroom and very ofter after a long shower you end up with a lot of steam and water left inside for hours and nasty smells. Breakfast is very poor (few options and very cheap food, artificial juice) There is no inner yard, swimming pool or playground for kids. The bed sheets are not changed daily even if they are dirty (we spilled some babyfood on the bedsheets - after that, they made the beds but didn't change them)

Amplasarea hotelului,personalul,condițiile de cazare,posibilitatea de a ne petrece concediul insotiti de cei doi câini .Toti am fost fericiti,nimeni nu a avut de suferit!Castelul de la Balchik care ne-a fermecat prin frumusetea si simplitatea sa,minunatele grădini pline de flori,miros,culoare,armonie si nu in ultimul rând prin exceptionala sera de cartusi.Am sa amintesc si de minunata promenadă acompaniata de clipocitul plăcut a valurilor.

Personal amabil si simpatic

Este un hotel bine pozitionat pentru vizitarea Balcicului. Are un raport calitate-pret bun. Dotarile camerei (telefon, minibar, televizor, aer conditionat satisfacatoare.poti gasi chiar si un loc de parcare. Receptioner si proprietara amabili si cunoscatori ai limbii engleze.

Baia neaerisita, lipsa spatiului delimitat pentru dus.

Personal prietenos, comunicativ (daca vreti orice informatie despre Balchik intrebati de Hristo, va ajuta imediat). Mic dejun divers, Cafeaua buna. Camere curate si incapatoare pentru stelele hotelului, putin cam zgomotoase (cereti in aripa din spate). Foooooarte central. Intre cele doua plaje si la cateva minute de intrarea in Palat. Bucatarie buna pentru cina si pranz.

Viktoria Family Hotel reprezinta intr-adevar un sejur relaxant si decent in care te poti bucuri de scopul vizitei in Balcic. Personalul hotelului este exceptional, fiind bine pregatiti pentru aceasta munca. Amplasarea hotelului este strategica, acele aproximativ 10 minute de mers pe jos pana la plaja fiind benefice pentru fizic; este aproape de restaurantele de pe malul marii si de asemenea, de faleza plina cu diferite tarabe. Conditiile din camera sunt numai bune; am fost frumos impresionata de curatenia din fiecare zi si de schimbarea lenjeriei de la pat o data la 3 zile. Acest hotel ar trebui sa fie alegerea tuturor celor care isi doresc un adevarat sefur la mare, care implica un pret normal si accesibil cat si diversificata mancare in fiecare. Dar in primul rand, un astfel de concediu inseamna relaxare, iar hotelul Viktoria isi garanteaza acest lucru.

Ar trebui sa fie schimbata priza de pe terasa, pare trecuta de ani.

Comme souvent en Bulgarie, pas d'ascenseur pour le 3ème étage

Personal foarte binevoitor, profesionist. Hotel intim, amplasat aproape de port.Camere curate, luminoase. O idee de a petrece un sejur la Balchik. Sigur voi reveni .

Personalul a fost foarte amabil.Desi nu prea se vede marea totusi hotelul este foarte aproape de faleza si restaurante. In viitoarea excursie la Balcick vom alege acelasi hotel .Raportul calitate /pret este foarte bun.

Ne-ar fi placut sa avem invelitori separate mai ales ca nu era inca vara. Micul dejun este sarac. Am cerut camera cu vedere la mare ( asa era oferta ) dar este ceva imposibil de obtinut datorita amplasarii hotelului.Din balconul nostru se vedea o bucatica de mare printre doua cladiri de vizavi.

Amplasarea în zona centrală a staţiunii şi, totodată, la nici 1 minut distanţă de faleză, portul turistic, restaurante, cafenele. Camera spaţioasă şi luminoasă, mobilată decent, cu un număr suficient de mare de prize în dotare. Personalul de la recepţie înţelege limba engleză.

Baia extrem de înghesuită, fără cabină de duş, fără perdea de duş şi cădiţă, astfel încât spălatul poate reprezenta o adevărată provocare. Consumabilele necesare toaletei, de proastă calitate şi insuficiente. Camera friguroasă pe timpul nopţii (chiar şi după utilizarea aerului condiţionat), în ciuda temperaturii atmosferice mari de peste zi. Singura pătură din dotarea camerei duble, cu pat matrimonial, a fost de dimensiunile unui pat de o persoană. Minibarul din cameră, nefuncţional la momentul sosirii, a început să răcească abia după 12 ore. Micul dejun sărăcăcios şi puţin variat. Conexiunea prin wifi foarte proastă.

What a friendly welcome! All family members were on hand to meet, greet and make our stay a pleasant one - they couldn't do enough for us. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the restaurants on the front and hardly any distance for a leisurely promenade after dinner. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an inexpensive, friendly welcome to Balchik.

La prima vizita in Bulgaria, am fost placut impresionati de ospitalitatea si disponibilitatea proprietarilor si personalului hotelului. Am ramas cu impresia ca orice problema daca s-ar fi ivit pentru noi, ar fi rezolvat-o cu amabilitate. Placut surprinsi ca plata a putut fi facuta in moneda locala la cursul oficial de schimb, ceea ce te scapa de un stres in plus. Micul dejun variat, dar nesofisticat, insa superior din toate punctele de vedere oricarui mic dejun oferit de hotelurile italiene, de exemplu. Camerele curate, aer conditionat, minifrigider, atmosfera intima si placuta pentru o familie matura.

Vederea la mare e destul de mult obturata de un hotel care se lafaie in primul plan al falezei.
