Starting from Dallas you can quickly reach the capitals of the First and Second Bulgarian Kingdoms, Pliska and Preslav /7th - 9th C/ and Veliko Turnovo /11th - 14th C/. The Madara Horseman relief cut in the rock in 7th C is 80 km away.
