Dedeman Trimontium Princess Plovdiv Hotel  

This hotel is better than Park Imperial Plovdiv, and much better than Novotel. But of course it can be enhanced. I think this hotel is the best choice in Plovdiv. It is not that perfect like Austian and Italian **** star hotel. Pool is for free.

Sauna costs 7 eur. Could be included. Sauna and pool are open 9-21. better to have it till 11 pm.

Location.

Though the hotel claims Wi-fi capability, it was not functional anywhere on the premises. Signal strenght was consistently too low to log on. The so called "business center" has two desktops, both of which were frequently locked out. When I requested paper to print (an outdated printer), I received 3-4 sheets, and a frown. The furniture (beds, desks, linens, TV) are no less than 30 years old, of poor quality and have a spartan look and feel. The only reason to stay here is the central city location. If you are in need of, or accustomed to the amenities and comforts of an average, by western standards hotel, you will be disappointed.

Not renovated...

The lack of a normal parking makes the hotel un-atractive for a second visit.

Location was excellent, on the edge of main shopping area. Good variety served for breakfast, very helpful reception staff. Room was big and airy, lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Although the room was generally well presented there were cobwebs on the window ledge of the main window and the net curtains were badly in need of a wash.

The hotel's location is perfect: close to the old city and steps away from the downtown, shopping area. The receptionist that checked us in and bell boy were quite pleasant and had great custmer service skills!

****The room given to us was ok...at least with a view towards the old city, however it was also the only one available and clean...mind you we were checking in at 6pm. ****Waiting for an iron was ridiculous...after 15 mins the first one was damaged, so a 2nd one was given to us as after another 15mins as we were told that the entire hotel had only 6! As the 2nd iron was given to us, the hotel mechanic blamed us for damaging the 1st iron…which btw had pink/red clothing residue all over it. I almost damaged my own white dress with it! For such hotel, it seems quite embracing and downright disappointing! Certainly something to think about when checking in there.

The location is perfect, right in the center.

The parking is not free, although there is a large public parking in front of it.

For me as and old fashion man, is a real pleasure to stay in this hotel, old style decorated, with all facilities arround me, with excelent and warm personel all speaking english. And Xmas arrangement + slow carols were perfect in my last trip in Princess Trimontiun.

Best location in Plovdiv - right in the center of the city

Limited parking for the hotel guests - even those were rented out to a third party and my car had to stay in another place (the service parking for the hotel staff)

They took my car keys at arrival and could not find the car the next morning, not only wasting my time but giving me the impression that it had potentially been stolen, awful experience. WiFi system is stupid to the extreme, forcing users to log in every ten minutes. Room keys stopped working before checkout time. Terrible experience.

The best thing about this hotel has been the excellent installations and services offered, as well as the cleanliness and modernity of them, all together with the flavour of a luxury class.

The worse thing would probably be the state of the rooms' bathrooms, a little old and unadapted.

The hotel is in the center of the city.nice building.
