starff were very friendly and helpfull although they only one member spoke english. location,. 3 seperate entries on google maps, all incorrect, not very close to the centre |

Lovely small hotel on the edge of the park with views of the sea. Modern, new and clean. Took breakfast in the garden, 5 km walk through the park to central Varna. Taxi drivers could not find the hotel: ask for Duchess and the Bulgarian name Dukessa. Free WiFi and Internet. Not very good English spoken |

The owner speaks English very well and is very kind and helpful. Very nice clean room and bathroom, new furniture and comfortable beds. Free internet. Close to a park, delphinarium and the beach. If you are not a beach goer take a note that the hotel is far from the city centre. Very limited breakfast choice. |

Nice, comfortable hotel. Big windows that opened widely, also good air con when needed. Intimate, quiet, good value. A few steps to tram stop, with 10-15 minute trip to downtown Varna and its great promenade. Breakfast buffet basic, but OK. Good local beach a short walk -- some down and up involved in the trip - away from hotel, (For an adventure, take a dip in the mineral springs spa a few hundred yards down the beach toward town.) An upscale restaurant, with very good food and - because of the currency - very reasonable prices - is within a short walk from the hotel. Some interesting stalls, restaurants just across the highway (use the underpass). The Mrs. and I spent six days at the Duchess and enjoyed our stay. |

A small, friendly family hotel and very good staff. Outside city centre, easy to go by bus. Free internet (wifi), airco. Thanks for hospitality ! Merci Mnogo! small bathroom, a bit noisy (from other rooms, depending guests...) |

The hotel was in a beautiful park, near the dolphinarium and had wonderful vistas of the ocean and park from our room. Very cozy feel to the room, we plan to visit again next week. Trying to check out was not easy because of the lack of english speaking people. |

Le cadre et la tranquilité. Propreté de l'hôtel et chambre spacieuse Le petit déjeuner continental trés pauvre. Un café uniquement, les autres sont en supplément.Accueil peu sympathique comme dans la plupart des hôtels. Salle de bains trés petite |

Нам понравилась уютная атмосфера отеля, приятный доброжелательный персонал. Очень удачное расположение отеля. Добраться можно было в любые уголки, посмотреть любые достопримечательности. Интернет в номере быстрый и работал просто отлично! Завтрак, как для континентального - неплох. Стоянка при отеле довольно вместительна, до 8 машин. До пляжа 15 мин пешком. Прекрасное соотношение цена/качество. Хотелось бы, чтобы полотенца и постельное белье меняли каждый день! |

Das Hotel hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung (Bus) in die Stadt, Lage ruhig, trotzdem ist es auch möglich zu Fuß in die Stadt zu gehen; Frühstück könnte besser und abwechslungsreicher sein; Personal spricht kein Deutsch und nur mangelhaft englisch; den Weg zum Strand haben wir uns kürzer vorgestellt (ca. 20Min. zu Fuß) |

Het hotel ligt prachtig in een park bij de zee en op 20 min. loopafstand van het centrum van de stad. Vriendelijk personeel.Gezellige ontbijtruimte. Diverse restaurants dichtbij het hotel. |

Situation idéale : proche de la ville, au bord de la mer Noire, et et du parc. Le personnel fume et l'établissement sent la cigarette. Très gênant la nuit lorsque le gardien fume : la fumée remonte jusque dans les chambres. |
