Hotel Dune  

Well-designed and calm place. Private beach (which is quite convenient due to crowds around). Very nice cook at the hotel restaurant. During weekdays (I was there mid-July) few guests, beach almost empty.

Be ready that beach towels do not arrive from cleaning till 10 am. While you are having your breakfast (if you are not a very early bird, say, around 8-30 am) the staff start washing floors and windows around you as well as cleaning the swimming pool.

Service was very good and personnel was very friendly, very clean rooms, the hotel lies on the beach: a great plus, because you can order a cocktail directly lying on the beach. They keep the beach only for guests of the hotel, so there is a plenty of room on the beach - really great :) a very nice view to the see from our room!

The bathroom was not functioning very well when we first got into the room (sink was not working properly and the bathroom's door handle was broken and fell off), so they found us another room very fast, we had to wait only 30min - really great and friendly service! When you get on the balkony, It is a little loud (u hear music from all directions) in the night, but I guess in general this is normal for resorts like sunny beach :)

Fantastic location and lovely rooms that were very clean and modern. The breakfast was very good and the private beach is perfect for escaping the crowds.

From the hotel's restaurant you have direct access to a "private" beach. Sun beds are free for the hotel guests and ridiculously expensive for anybody else - which pretty much means that only hotel's guests are in the area. As a result, you have on one side a packed beach, with sun beds and tons of people incredibly crowded and - in front of Dune - large spaces and a relaxed atmosphere. Sunny Beach is loooong (> 5 km) but this is possibly the best place to be once you get in the resort. Free wifi, free parking. Nothing special about the rooms/bathrooms - they fit with the price/stars hotel status. Nearby Nessebar is very nice for an evening visit (bus no. 1 will take you right there).

Hotel has it's particularities, as noted by other reviewers: yes, you would see local guys coming there with Ferrari's and Porche's and with bodyguards around. Yes, staff has a distinctive dress code and attitude, which may annoy some people. It's not really hotel's fault, but here are some facts about Sunny Beach (in August): • it is extremely big and extremely crowded (lots and lots of teenagers - they probably enjoy it best here); • lots of algae in the sea... many people don't enter the sea at all for this reason.

Very good location, clean, good foods, friendly staff, safe parking for auto, central!

Everything is perfect....exept one thing, they don`t have turkish bath (steam) and sauna....

Don`t have spa centar...

Staff and attention to detail were excellent as well as the food. Beautiful areas for lounging etc. We also got upgraded to a sea view on arrival.

Some of the other guests can be a bit intimidating as a lot of them seemed to come with bodyguards but after a while added to the exclusiveness of the hotel. Every one was very respectful of each others space .

It is only one hotel on the beach. The japanese suite is very nice.

The internet connections is not very good in the room 226.

Отличный отель. Единственный в своем роде. Находится в самом центре курорта, прямо на берегу моря и располагает собственным пляжем. При этом отель небольшой и очень уютный. Вкусный ресторан. Все чисто и опрятно. Необычная форма одежды у сотрудников отеля. И все это за абсолютно адекватные деньги. (При этом на самом отеле нет никакой вывески - по непроверенным данным его отстроила себе болгарская буржуазия в нарушение существующих норм)

1) Есть SPA-центр, но пользоваться им не рекомендую. Угораздило там подстричься. По возвращении домой пришлось идти к своему парикмахеру, чтобы исправлять ситуацию. 2) Однообразные завтраки. 3) Ни разу за 4 дня не обновили минибар. 4) В номере 216 не мешало бы починить дверной косяк. (Но все перечисленные минусы очень хорошо перевешиваются реальными плюсами.)

Amplasarea hotelului pe plaja si deasemenenea plaja privata este cea mai importanta trasatura a hotelului. Faptul ca pe plaja nu esti deranjat de nimeni, avand acces doar clientii hotelului, confera un confort deosebit. Poate fi considerat un hotel relativ exclusivist, daca judeci dupa tipul masinilor parcate in fata hotelului si bineinteles dupa pretul comparativ cu celelate hoteluri din statiune. Personalul este amabil, cunoaste limba engleza , sau cel putin cei cu care am interactionat noi, parcarea este sigura, locatia in statiune este foarte buna, fiind pozitionat chiar in centrul statiunii. Chiar daca noi am avut camera cu landview, daca inchideai fereastra nu se auzea galagia din exterior, care va asigur ca era destula. Internetul wi-fi a functionat ok, curatenie ok, camera si baie mari.

Un minus este faptul ca nu exista indicatoare in statiune care sa te orienteze catre hotel si nici macar hotelul nu are denumirea afisata. Daca nu am fi stiut din fotografii cred ca nu l-am fi gasit nici dupa cele 20 minute de invartit prin statiune si cele 3 telefoane la receptie. Micul dejun limitat .
