Euphoria Club Hotel & Spa    

We made a trip to the Euphoria Club Hotel & Spa this past weekend and it was amazing. We received a good deal since it’s off season from the winter months. The rooms are wonderful and best linens I’ve seen in Bulgaria. The spa was great with heated pool, steam room and sauna. We rented bikes for 1 hour and explored the trail right behind the hotel (4 bg lev per hour). Euphoria offers a good breakfast and we even had lunch one day (good prices). Take a trip into Borovets it’s quiet but very much open for visitors. Try Sunny’s Bar it’s a great place to eat.

Be aware, if you are traveling with a credit card without pin, Euphoria won’t accept your card. So make sure you gave a backup plan.

Excellent hotel with top facilities and spacious rooms. Service provided was very good.

The hotel is very nice decorated and brand new, with very large rooms. -The prices of the food and drinks are very good -Breakfast is fine (my wife would like more sweets but for me eggs, bacon, cheese etc are perfect) -The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The spa is very nice and enjoyed the massage very much after 4 days of skiing.

Some of the staff don't speak any english but its ok because they are trying to help anyway.

Everything. Nicely designed modernist rooms with high standard of finish. Lovely pool, sauna, steam room, outside jacuzzi (which even accommodated my large friend). Best exchange rate anywhere for currency.

Even though there was a small kitchen in the room there was no crockery, cutlery, pots/pans or a kettle. Personally I don't need a kitchen in a hotel room but would have liked to have been able to make a cup of tea/coffee.

It is a wonderful hotel with large and very clean room. The staff were very helpfull and kind aslo the location is near to ski center and for the hiking and the spa was very perfect. We recommend this hotel.

Big rooms, quality breakfast, good regulated heaters for drying of cloth (after ski), forest is around, good undeground parking, friendly staff, bathrobe and towels are served in pool with no limit,good hamam and sauna, escellent jacazzi with strong jets

The disatvatages are small - the floor around pool is slippery, from some buidings you have to come to pool via parking (-1 flloor)

Dirty rooms - hair and crumbs on the floor, and there was a constant dripping noise from the balcony above onto ours when the snow started to melt. The hotel is 3k away from Borovets, not 1.5k like the description says. The road isn't lit and there's no path so you can't walk it. The shuttle bus only runs 9, 9.30 & 10 in the morning, and 2, 2.30, 4, 4.30 in the afternoon. They're never on time and don't run at night so you end up having to get taxis (10 lev = £5) if you want to stay out for a drink in Borovets...which you will because the bar at the hotel is empty, clinical and expensive. The rooms are meant to be "fully equipped" for self catering, but this just means that there's a hot plate and a fridge in the room - there was no cutlery, plates, pans, cups or a kettle...so you can't even make a hot drink in your room. When we asked for a pan/equipment to make tea/coffee we got a straight "no".

The hotel is clean, the rooms hot, the quality of construction prety good.

Bad kitchen, the meals are of bad quality, the staff in the restaurant is not professional, the spa is prety poor.

We came as four friends over new year and really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was lovely, really modern and smart. The staff were helpful and friendly and we attended the New Year Gala meal which was hilarious! Very bulgarian in entertainment and food was really delicious. The beds and rooms were comfortable and the spa and swimming pool was fantastic to relax after skiing. I'd reccomend it. Despite being away from the main town this was a quite nice break from the business of Borovets centre! The buses were good and taxi's very cheap to get home at night too.

The rooms (despite having kitchens) didn't provide any pots or pans. The shuttle to the slopes didn't always leave on time - the staff seemed a little relaxed about this. On the whole it was fine however something we noticed. There should be tea and coffee making facilities when you get back in the afternoon. The morning breakfast was great but it would have been nice to have tea/coffee when you get back as a complimentary service.

Literally everything! Just perfect destination for SPA and Wellness and for mountain walking and for skii of course! Location, personal, rooms, restaurant, comfort and price - just perfect!

Far (very far!!!) from the epicenter of the Borovets so no chance to have a nice dinner (and drink!) in the center and then return slowly to the hotel - is too far! The restaurant is slow and poor. Fresh food (including fresh meat and very fresh salads in the middle of summer) is a must for a 4 star hotel, frozen food is what I have at home all year long! Nice spa bat very small and basic. Small indoor pool (5 persons is too much for it). One mention regarding the "hurry! Last room" announcement: in in my vacation I don's want to spend days after days in a complete solitude. For several days we have been the only occupants in the hotel and this was not the way we wanted to spend this time. So please no more false announcements! Too expensive!

if I had anything to say it would be that the food could be a little more exciting. Also more interesting bar snacks and appetisers.

Stayed here in Summer when prices were low and there were many people hiking in the mountain. The Euphoria wasn’t too busy and we got a good rate. It’s nice and possibly one of the better choices in Borovets, but it’s not perfect! - Massage was fantastic, one of the best we've ever had - General spa facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and massage all good) - General cleanliness and appearance - Breakfast choice is reasonably good

- Single beds pushed together, not doubles - Food is not nearly as good as you would expect (chicken steak processed and full of water served with canned vegetables) - Location is 25-30mins walk from Borovets - No real atmosphere (rather clinical) - Setting is a clearing in the forest, so there aren't many mountainside views

The hotel facilities, staff, environment, everything was absolutely brilliant.

Rooms are nice and comfortable, all is new. Location is remote, away from the centre.

Hotel information says that restaurant for breakfast opens at 7:30. When asking the reception, they say 8:00. When we arrive at 8:10 nothing is working yet. First they have to look for the person responsible for the restaurant, then they slowly start making the restaurant ready for breakfast. Around 8:45 you can have your breakfast (if you still feel for). So, for sure not a good idea to stay here if you plan to make hikes in the mountains.

The location is great, surrounded by pine trees. Very clean and staff are excellent.

Excellent location/landscape plus the quality of the construction clearly guided by the modern hotel guidelines. Hotel management ensured by a greek hotel company and customer service level was at very best at all levels starting from security guy including all reception and restaurant personel.Everybody we met was speaking good english and overall -as opposed to many other hotel i've stayed in Bulgaria- they seemed to be very enthusiasthic and welcoming . We,ve been upgraded to an apartment free of charge ( true we came in a low season....) whilst restaurant was delivering excellent tasty food. Buffet breakfast also good quality assortment. Huge garage facility a great plus when travelling with a foreign license plate car. Spa great though when hotel running at full capacity might be somewhat too small. We'll come again fir sure.

Lack of outdoor swimming pool and/or more space for sun beds.

Το φαγητό αν και πολυ καλο για τα δεδομένα της περιοχής, θα μπορούσε να είναι ακόμα καλύτερο. Η μουσική στο bar προέρχεται απο μια TV που παίζει video clips. Θα προτιμουσα μια ευχάριστη μουσική που θα εκανε τον χώρο του σαλονιού πιο ζεστό απο το να χαζεύουν όλοι μια οθόνη πάνω απο το bar.

Welness gedeelte is super! Uitgebreid en verzorgd ontbijt. Ruime kamer met goede bedden.
