friendly staff, close to town centre, clean, good menu. room quite small, only one small wardrobe and no cupboard space. lot of street noise when balcony door open.

the Fenix hotel it is near the centre of Blagoevgrad. Although it is a small hotel it is very clean and the girls at the reception were very polite and helpfull.I will definately reccomend it. BEST SHOWER I HAVE EVER SEEN !!!

An OK hotel for a shorter stay. Available parksites in public just in front of the hotel. Staff speaks good english and the restaurant is OK and used by the locals. Room was too small for a longer stay. The surroundings are a little worn down (but very authentic!)

A small family hotel in the center of the city. Great service and friendly staff. A good combination of price and quality. It would be nice to include in the menu of the restaurant not only serves Bulgarian cuisine, but, for example, Italian cuisine.

Convenient location in the town, away from noise and traffic, but still within walking distance of the University. Family-owned, Friendly, good prices, spoke English well. Free wifi, and use of printer.

The room was very big, comfortable and spacious. It was very cheap and good value for money. We used it as a stop over before heading to the mountains the next day so it is close to the 7 lakes walk in a car. It also had air conditioning which was fantastic since it was very hot when we were in Bulgaria.

The services, the conditions, the restaurant was extremely cheap, extremely friendly. This was the second year that that we had stopped in our way to the Greece, and again it was a nice and pleasant stopover in our way to the vacation. I recommended it for everybody. An extremely nice, and cheap place, very nice dinner. We will return there in every year.

Great location. The staff was very friendly. We originally booked a quadruple room but the family that was staying there before us wanted to extend, so the hotel put us in two double rooms at no additional charge. Air conditioning didn't work in one of the rooms.

La persona de recepción no hablaba inglés, y por tanto era imposible obtener información sobre la manera de llegar al monasterio de Rila con transporte local (por otra parte, cosa complicada de hacer uno por su cuenta desde Blagoevgrad, aunque parezca lo contrario)
