Excellent accueil.belle chambre spacieuse..hôtel de grande classe. Piscines froides.petits déjeuners très moyens.clientèle composée de gens toujours mal habilles.souvent torse nu dans le hall..la bouteille a la main....très dommage pour un bel hôtel comme cela.salle a manger trop vaste. |

This was a very good 5 stars hotel some years ago, but the quality decreased while the price didn't. Anyway, if one wishes a big international hotel, it is the right choice. |

Not this time Upon arrival, there is a total chaos at the reception desk, the staff is abrupt, not making the slightest effort to check if a room is available before sending you away with a "come back at 3 pm for your check-in" They did not even suggest spending one hour in one of the hotel's amenities, we had to ask for the luggage room. We up-graded our room to the luxury apartment, and we received a room with urine smell on the carpet. We informed the staff, and they tried cleaning it (twice), to no avail, though, when the detergent smell passed, the smell or urine re-appeared. That in their top-grade accomodation. No or poor internet, agressive pool staff, am I missing something? |

Size and comfort of the rooms, very nice pool, a large hotel that can accommodate your needs. Additional charge for the sauna was disappointing and alot of guests with small children. |

A lot of tourists, being a large hotel..you didn't fell crowded except breakfast time. The service was excellent there and the offer was rather large, very good meal. Driving your way to the hotel, you coldn't reach it so easy. because of lack of signs! I couldn't find any sign wich can show me the way to this hotel! I find it by ...mistake! And ....another problem... one day the parking boy told me the underground parking was full , so I have to park outside; when I go to the parking, down...walking, there were al least 3 places free! I didn't know why hw does such a thing since I have paid the parking, and it wasn't very cheap at all! |

big , comfortable rooms. Nice swimming pool. Good location. being asked additional charge for using spa facilities , slow working reception(due to shortage of personel) . Being asked 10 leva for sleepers in 5 star hotel was disappointing. |

Rooms are big and nice, everything seems to be new. Breakfast is Ok, room service dinner was delicious. The outdoor pool is big and there is enough place for everybody. There is also an indoor pool and sauna. Hotel's location is very nice, in the centre of the resort but still very quiet. 1. Reception staff is very unprofessional! 2. No slippers/robes in the rooms. Not a very big problem but is very strange for a 5 star hotel! 3. The hotel doesn't have its own beach, so be ready to pay for the beach chairs and umbrellas. The price is about 5-7 eur per person per day. 4. Breakfast is 7 am to 10 am, too early for me. 5. Room service menu is expensive but the food is delicious. |

The room is great. Everythink, except the room- the staff not helpfull, the breakfast area very crowded , noisy and dirty, no private beach, the parking was overcrowded, so we've parked at the next hotel, the entire resort is very noisy and full of small children. |

It is one of the biggest hotel in Varna area. Rooms are big and comfortable. They didn't accept Euro. Even I made the booking and the price was fixed in euro. They have an exchange office inside the hotel but changing with very bad rates, so better change outside.The breakfast restuarant is very crowded. |

The hotel was nice. Situated in a good place staff was rather helpfull each time you ask them. We've booked a delux room 42 sqm with a see view,and we got 24sqm standard room with a side see view. Few times I had to call reception to change our towels and one day they even did not come to make up the room. |

The Melia is a comfortable hotel and its staff was always helpfull. Despite its big infrastructure, we found that the hotel had a balance between quietness and activities. It is a nice family hotel. The following are not dislikes yet comments for easy to apply improvement. The lack of organisation, coordination for the checkin/checkout could simply be avoided by applying lines/signs to separate the different counters. The creation of an information or concierge desk would give great bonus points for customer satisfaction. The creation of simple hotel leaflets explaining the different facilities (location,price, timetable) would be a great help. Having independent taxis in front of the hotel trying to take advantages of hotel customer and sometimes asking 4 times the 'normal' price obliging customers to look for taxis further up the hills should be discouraged by the hotel. A private beach would be nice yet the swimming pools were great |

Great rooms, big pool with perfect water temperature, we could keep the towels for the pool after checkout (until late in the evening when we left) - same about the parking. |

very good room, professional staff, nice image, short distance from see, no damages of rooms, doors, elevators no very good solution for breakfast, despite of approximatelly 40% of occupancy only there were very crowded and staff to decrease their work reduced availablity of tables. also selection of food was all days same. |

I`d like to use the sauna, but they said it`s paid service. The sports facilities and not maintained, there wasn't any available table tennis balls and one of the cues were broken |
