Grand Hotel Velingrad    

Good hotel, friendly staff. The indoor swimming pool is nice, jakussi pool also good. The Spa facilities in function, there were some interesting surprises like free vitamin juice, free mineral water for drinking etc. Free towels are also available in the pool area. The room was good and with excellent equipment. Wi-Fi connection is excellent. Also, the guarded parking is positive. The breakfast was solid. Very, very good hotel and we are satisfied.

The outdoor swimming pool was not working. I noticed that the pool is not in function for a longer period. The information about all season outdoor pool is not correct. And second, it was too hot in the room. When I call the reception, they were very kind, but the answer was very funny and very interesting - Sir, You can not regulate the temperature, but You can open the balcony door for a little.

The Hotel was exactly how described. The staff were great, food and service very good and the spa was amazing. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Had trouble with tv and online films but they fixed the problem very quickly which is surprising in Bulgaria.

The hotel was everything we expected: We stayed at the standard room. The rooms were spectacular, clean, comfortable and well equipped, nice mini-bar, cable tv, free internet and king size bed. Service was kind and attentive. Breakfast is excellent. The swimming pool/spa area is also very nice. A brilliant place to relax and unwind.

We spent about 30 minutes into Piano Bar of the hotel and the waiter ask for entrance 6 levs for a person without notification.

Hotel offers the real power of mineral water with its large pool and SPA in general, our family visit purpose was to heal from tough work and hard living tempo, results were with immediate effect. Family Thanks for this very much. Regards.

Staff at the restaurant offering breakfast need to be more polite and to take an example from other colleagues. We were not affected by their roundness, however we have witnessed such and honestly was not a nice view which ruins Hotels real beauty and international reputation.

The offer of the Spa center is versatile, it is well equipped, the inside pool is big enough, settled in nice surrounding. The drinking mineral water tap inside the spa is a surprising bonus. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast buffet offer is abundant. The stuff is kind and excеptionally helpfull.

It lacks communication with the nature, a garden around the hotel, the only sitting area is at the porch facing the parking lot, due to a small location. The linens and curtains were torn, not equivalent to the 5 star categorization. The pool area could be equipped with more massage point nozzles, the only one in the big pool was not working.

I liked the hotel interior and the breakfast buffet- good choice amd live cooking. The inside pool was quite big, SPA area is big as well and very relaxing. I enjoyed a well-being massage and the guy who did it made me feel relaxed. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Благодаря за добре изкараното време и определено ще се върна в този хотел.

The outdoor pool water was cold, the housekeepers missed to put towels, mistake fixed later on. The prices of the food quite expensive compared with the prices at SPA Hotel Dvoretsa where I stayed as well.

the staff and the receptions is awful, don't know why they work when they are useful....and in the city you can not pay with euro ,so if you don't have changed money like us(there is only one change,and doesnt work) you will walk 3 km to the hotel from the center ,and you will be hungry.....

Awful catering facilities-very limited lunch(in the bar at the pool area) and not very many healthy options. Restaurant-extremely limited choice of overpriced salads and meals.Bulgaria is a country with excellent cuisine,based on local, fresh,healthy products.In GH Velingrad, the choice was exotic meals triple the price of what would coszt something based on local products.No wonder I never saw anybody eating in the restaurant. It is quite a problem, as GH Velingrad is a bit far away from other restaurants in Velingrad.

Very quiet and child friendly place. Comfortable and spacy room; nice spa free access space and interesting spa treatments;very clean swimming pools with mineral water.

Restaurant menu with limited choice. Reseptionists and life guards could be more helpful.

Pools are excellent. Good location of the hotel. Breakfast was good.

There was some nasty odour in the bio sauna. The restaurant is too expensive.

The hotel and spa facilities were ok.

We have been visiting this hotel from several years now and every time there were different reasons for complaints from the kitchen. That's why we simply have our dinners outside.

We were very satisfied with all the services of the Hotel. I think that a 8.5~9.0 score can be given to them.

Nothing in special, besides that the chairs in the dining room were too low (or the tables too high...). But this does not change our positive opinion about the Hotel.

Quality of food, variety of dishes and restaurant services are of low level. I would not qualify it as a la carte - it is rather canteen type of food.

външните басейни и двата бяха затворени, а пишеше, че единият работи цялогодишно. в боулинга нямаше достатъчно топки с малки номера за децата.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das gute Essen, ein Top-Zimmer, sehr gepflegtes Hotel.

Das Hotel ist insgesam überheizt. Wahrscheinlich wird das warme Thermalwasser zu Heizzwecken eingesetzt (Fußbodenheizung), aber wir mussten die alte Ostblock-Heizung (Fenster auf) nutzen, um zu überleben!

Прекарахме един невероятен уикенд в гранд хотел Велинград. Беше прекрасно. Чистота, вежливост, добро обслужване, препоръчвам хотела за релакс и почивка. Пиано бара е много приятен и предразполага към забавления. "Бандата" свири страхотно. Много са добри. Въобще всичко беше перфектно.

Персоналът е много любезен. Кухнята е страхотна - и в ресторанта и закуската, басейна е с добри размери. Барът е приятен с много добри музиканти.

Възглавниците са изключително неудобни!
