Located on the main pedestrian street in the heart of Plovdiv, Bulgaria Star Hotel is next to the Roman Theatre, the Mosque, the Theatre, and the Town Hall.

Expo Hotel is located in the central part of Plovdiv, right next to one of the famous hills, and minutes away from the historic quarter and the international convention center.
Score from 219 reviews Excellent
Set nest to the pedestrian area, Dali Art Hotel is located in the centre of Bulgaria’s historic city Plovdiv, just 50 metres from the Roman Amphitheatre and 300 metres from the Ancient Theatre.

Hotel Leipzig is in a great location at the foot of one of the Seven Hills of Plovdiv, featuring a sophisticated and state-of-the-art interior with impeccable services.
Score from 409 reviews Very good
The staff, when we were faced with the sudden need to return to England, were wholly supportive and sensitive in their help. Large rooms, comfortably equipped, very close to the centre but in a quiet, pedestrianised side-street.
Lighting in rooms was too dim.
The single room by the office wasn't large and didn't have a view but everything was tops for the price and the staff couldn't have friendlier. The French review of the hotel found the decoration tacky. I found it Bulgarian and far more attractive than the usual fashionable international no-taste no-smell no-colour places around. Good recommandations and lots of laughs
Breakfast could have been a little more creative (especially given the great variety of local cheeses) but it was quite acceptable
Excellent location, in front of the roman forum, close to the main shoping street. Big and clean rooms, AC in every room, decent breakfast. The appartment has kitchenette with refrigerator.
No kitchen tools and ware, no ice shapes for the freezer. No shampoo and shower gel, only soap.
We liked that the staff were friendly, welcoming, very helpful and spoke some English. The breakfast was excellent and staff helpful with taxis and advice . Our stay was a short one but the location and situation close to the main sights was a bonus.
A cramped shower facility made for a tight squeeze.
Everything was fantastic
No parking. No internet
Very friendly and helpful with phone calls and information. Over and above.
A very disappointing breakfast. Had to pay for the milk.
The only good thing is the location of the hotel( in fact it is guest room)
The room - too small The bed - too small, definitely is not romantic The window view - not romantic The bath room - too small and full with water after the shower The furniture looks old, but the TV is ancient.... And finally this not a hotel. It looks more like hostel You can find lot of better hotels in Plovdiv for such a price
The ideal central location in pedestrian area in front of ancient Roman Odeon. A big very convinient appartment quiet clean
The view from the room and the stuff was very polite.
Breakfast could be improved. The kitchen in the apartment could not be used because there is no cutlery and utensils.
excellent location, nice staff comfy beds
the breakfast was a bit frugal
The hotel is at two steps from the main pedestrian area and 5 mins. from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Everything was exelent. The stuff is extremely friendly.
What this little hotel lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for in location, quiet, and gracious staff. Yes, the shower runs all over the floor, the carpets are old and the floors squeak, and the furnishings are dated. However, the location is as good as it gets, only steps away from the main pedestrian street and across from an historic ruin, from inside the room we didn't hear a sound so it was very quiet, clean, and the staff were very helpful and at least one is quite fluent in English. Breakfast was fine for the price - pastries, bread, boiled eggs, and one day there were apples and cheese. We would highly recommend this hotel as a perfect budget accommodation in a very interesting city.
If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. Furnishings are very dated. However, the only real negative for us was the shower that soaked the bathroom. Could be fixed with a curved shower rod hung a couple of inches lower so that the curtain actually surrounded the shower and hung inside the curb.
Everything. The only problem is that it is really difficult to find this hotel (located on the small street)
Staff was friendly and helped with every question. Room was clean and comfortable. Access right next to the walking street with convenience store, restaurants, coffee shops just steps away (yet far enough off of that street to not hear the noise...of the people on the street)
Breakfast is toast/croissant and hard boiled egg. No cereal, milk, juice or yogurt. Construction next door means you'll get up with the workers at 0730.
The location of this hotel was perfect, close to the main attractions. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.
I have never seen a bathroom smaller than this one before! The shower was in the same place as the toilet, very inconvenient. There are no private parking facilities and this could be not very safe.
The location was excellent for Old Plovdiv, historical monuments and shopping - all accessible by foot. We had the two bedroom apartment with balcony and it was a big room. The room was surprisingly quiet at night, which was great.
Unfortunately, we only paid extra for the 2-bed apartment with kitchenette so that we could save money by cooking for ourselves. However the kitchen was stocked only with two glasses and plates, making it effectively useless. We wouldn't have paid the extra if we'd known. Unfortunately, at the time we stayed they were erecting a new building next door so the noise level during the day was pretty bad. Breakfast was sparse. Also, the hotel description states 'parking available on site', however it's not on site; you have to park at another hotel and walk back, which with luggage is a bit of a pain.
Nice room, clean, quite place, and 100 meters from main street. Very friendly staff.
This was a fabulous hotel in an amazing location. It was easy to find and very, very close to the pedestrian street and old town. We had a twin on the bottom floor which was too small and dark but when we moved upstairs in our third night it was incredibly spacious with a couch table and a larger tv. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The staff were very helpful and genuinely welcoming like you are in a family home. The Hemingway restaurant opposite had a stunning setting and exquisite food. Enjoy it is a fabulous place.
The twin was too dark and small but everything else was perfect.
The hotel and area was lovely, staff very helpful, breakfast good, rooms big, nothing negative! Would stay here again, very short walk to old town and lots of restaurants and shops on door step.
Taxi driver struggled to find hotel, doesn't appear on Google maps!
Very friendly staff, lovely big room and really excellent location right off the main street and walking distance to the old town. Breakfast was reasonable too.
The room we booked was meant to have a terrace over looking the garden but didn't see any terraces or garden?
