Everything was good both accomodation and staff.

small breakfast menu, choice should be larger, and even in the small menu some things were no longer available at 8 AM

the location was perfect for touring the city of sofia. you could not have had more helpful staff.

there was nothing to dislike

Location was good - very close to city center, and with many product stores just a few steps away. Aircon was very useful and worked perfectly. Appreciated a corkscrew among room facilities :)

Room decoration and engineering was not very new.

Location is ok, 15 minute walk from cities main atractions

The room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes (although it was claimed to be non-smoking). There's no proper restaurant in the hotel (only pastry shop), and the breakfast wasn't good.

Great deal and location

Hotel Lion was conveniently located in the centre of Sofia and also offered a transfer from the airport, which always makes things easier when travelling alone. The room was very clean and comfortable.

English speaking staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast options in adjoining cafe. Very near to Ladies Bazaar shopping experience. Located at Lavov Most metro stop.

Excellent location especially for coach and rail stations. Very close to market.

View from the back of the hotel, but if you keep the curtains shut, no problem!

Not enough electric light in bedroom. Too dark in evenings to read,etc.

Very friendly staff and they were happy to help me out with out a problem. The room was clean and tidy. My room would be good for a person who is the similar height to the locals and not a person who is 1.95 metres (6ft 4in) in height.

The room smelt musty and damp and as it was on the 5th floor I couldn't open the windows. The room also had a sloping roof which meant I had to bend over while walking around. The bath was small and the handrail was hanging loose. This I reported on leaving.

Staff were very service orientated and helpful.

The rooms were okay but they suffered from a musty smell.

Every thing the place is really nice,and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

location.Convenient good restaurant

A bit too noisy in the front room.not the hotels fault,the traffic in the city was the problem..

The staff was helpful and friendly, they let us use the room very early in the morning before check in time. The hotel was located in a perfect place between train/bus station and city center.Thank you for everything.

The location and the size of room

As an owner of hotel in Greece i know that the hairdryer in the bathroom is something necessary for a 3 star hotel but there was not any in my room. Also the breakfast is by far very poor for a 3 star hotel and needs develop. I hope that the manager will do his best for better service..

The receptionist was very welcoming and did his best to meet my needs. The room was very clean and much more spacious than I expected. It would have been OK for a couple as well as a solo traveler. One street back from very busy road but remarkably quiet. I'd use it next time in the same conditions again!

Nice venue and nice rooms

Nice hotel in city centre , its near the Central Bus Station. The Staff is friendly. The facilities are convenient for hotels price.

No complaints at all. For my needs which was an overnight stay en route to uk. Pleasant cafe/stroke dining room with 2 lovely croisants for breakfast and a tea of my choice. There was an English breakfast and a couple of other menus to choose from and some delicious deserts!!!

Decent sized room, friendly and helpful staff, very good price. Hotel arranged airport transport for 10 Euros whereas a taxi would have been about 15. Location good for getting around, walkable to bus and train station, city centre, shops etc. Good clean breakfast and cakes cafe attached to the hotel. Very clean. Would stay here again.

Expensive mini bar in the room, eg. 3.5 leva for a bottle of water which you can buy in a local shop for 60 stotinki. You have the convenience but pay a lot for it. Not really a dislike but quite noisy traffic outside hotel. It's a busy city so what can you expect.

Big beds, big rooms and the scenery towards the main street of Sofia. We really liked the rooms and the hotel is perfectly located. Good breakfast with several choices.

Our bathtube had a problem in the hole.

the hotel is in a good location close to the train station, bus station and the metro is right outside the hotel. The restaurant is absolutely delightful, with low cost tasty food and a vast range of cakes,, you have to see it, to believe the cake display
