Imperial Hotel    

It is located on the beach, in a large park that keeps you away from the rest of Golden Sands which is very crowded and noisy - perfect for people who want to relax. The spa center offers services that you could enjoy during the vacation, The indoor pool is large and not crowded at any time, especially during the afternoon. Breakfast offers various types of food but some variation would be welcome. It is hard to have almost the same food everyday...

At the arrival, I had an unpleasant "surprise": we booked a suite but we got a double room! After discussing with the receptionist, I received a suite even if at first, I was told that the hotel was fully booked. Also, initially I was told that I have to pay extra for a suite (!?) if I want one (they told me that the hotel was fully booked :-) , right?). After the receptionist discussed with the reservation center, I received the suite with a view to ... nowhere but without any extra cost. :-) I remembered that last year I also had problems with my reservation that could not be found initially. :-) It seems that the reservation center is selling more rooms than they actually have. My case was not the only one. The hotel staff was ok but you have to tip everyone. They barely speak English but they speak Russian :-). Due to the language, I had problems when ordering at the Beach Restaurant. We got something else than we ordered and this was the only time we went there. Only one guy from the pool was not very friendly but we did not really care about that. Another disappointing point was that the bed was not changed during the entire stay (1 week).

It has an excellent position, inside the Riviera complex, on the beach and in a beautiful forest. Very clean beach with enough space available during the whole day.

The hotel is built right on the beach in a semi-private type resort.

The staff is horrible! The guy at the reception followed us, running, to the car on the morning of our departure, just to make sure that we won't leave the hotel without the chek out, even tho the accomodation had been payed before our arrival. There is no outside pool, and the inside pool is a joke! The room was unbelievable small, with outdated furniture and ugly bathroom. THe bath robe was very very old, with big hols on it and the sleepers had been obviously worn before. The air conditioning system was old as well and was making noise while running which made our nights sleepless. We strongly recommend you to never visit this ugly-horrible- unpleasant place!!!

The junior suite I had was spacious ,very comfortable,quite well sound proof ,the hotel complex it is in a nice park and well laid facilities,the Spa facilities are really good,the private beach of Imperial is close and well maintained and provided with everything you need. I do recommend one Restaurant in the complex ,La Terrace,inside of the Oasis Hotel ,brilliant chef,personnel,location and menu.Really a pleasure to have a dinner there,I've been really spoiled. One good thing is that I could go to any Restaurant or Bar in the Complex and I was able to charge my room.

Most of the personnel is speaking only Russian and German eventually or very poor English ,so I had bad times to communicate with them as I'm speaking English and French. Some of the personnel from the bars and Restaurants ,spa or swimming pool are poor instructed or even rude or not professional and this in top of not speaking English. The Imperial Restaurant was closed and nobody could explain me the reason, as the Hotel was almost fully booked. It was only opened the Beach Restaurant with quite poor menu and I never had any meal in it mainly because the personnel (I just ordered a cocktail and it was not even close than what it's supposed to be). Not all the facilities in the complex were opened for everybody staying in a different hotel like the swimming pools which they've been opened only for the respective hotels guests. Outside of the Complex fences is not much to see and quite busy area and I have to warn people to not try to change money to the Exchange Offices as it is a robbery ,the commission is 20%(even it is advertised 0% commission) ,they don't provide you the receipt copy etc. I intended to go down to see the Balchick gardens and the surroundings but I stepped back when the Receptionist warned me to be carefully where I'm parking the car.

Excellent location in a private resort, away from the center station and all the noise. Rooms nice, classic furniture, large balcony with nice sea view, bathroom very nice, everything new. Spa, nice indoor pool, jacuzzi. Private clean beach with free towels and sunshades. Romantic in the evening with nice illuminated alleys and beautiful landscaping. Good air conditioning and excellent breakfast.

It is a old hotel with only the rooms properly renovated. The reception and the elevators are old, 1970's style when the hotel was built. Still some communist touches present which disappoint you at the beginning, after it goes well. The staff is primitive but willing to help, no experience but good attitude. The restaurants are expensive compared with the food they offer, which is not bad but very unsophisticated and expensive. It is a clear recommendation comparing with everything else you find in that village.

Curatenia de pe plaja

Cand am ales Imperial Hotel am zis ca e mai bine sa platim ceva mai mult ca sa fim siguri ca vom avea parte de un confort macar mediu. Dar cum bulgarii sunt frati cu romanii cand vine vorba de jecmaneala, distractia a inceput din prima zi. Cum am ajuns acolo ne-au spus ca hotelul se inchide pe 31 august si ca trebuie sa ne mutam in alta parte pentru ultima noapte. Eu i-am suspectat ca vor sa dea camera la un pret mai mare, dar in cele din urma s-a dovedit ca Oficiul de Turism chiar inchidea hotelul. Ni s-a promis ca vom fi mutati la un hotel similiar din grup, fara sa mai platim in plus. Normal, bulgarii si-au luat banii si pe noaptea asta si astfel am platit de doua ori. In camera de la Imperial nu am avut presiune la dus la apa calda si a fost f greu sa ne descurcam cu copilul. Apa se scurgea pe furtun de parca se topea un turture. Apoi tv-ul era de pe vremea lui Pazvante si dupa ce inainte de 89 noi prindeam bulgarii cu purici acum am constat ca a venit randul lor sa prinda romanii cu purici. Tanti de la curatenie era amabila, dar a schimbat zilnic doar prosoapele, nu si cearceaful. Iar micul dejun, care mi s-a parut ok in prima zi pt ca parea ofertant, s-a dovedit a fi si el un esec in cele din urma, mai ales cand am inceput sa banuiesc ca ce nu se mananca azi, se pune si maine si poimaine etc.

Хотелът не отговаря на категорията си, базата е поостаряла, обслужването не е на добро ниво, цените в ресторантите са много високи.

Die Lage, die Grosszügigkeit der Räume. Der Gratis-Parkplatz vor dem Haus.

Die Sauberkeit auf den Korridoren könnte besser sein. Das Abendessen war nicht einmal *, geschweige denn *****. Das Rindsfilet war hart wie Leder - ungeniessbar. Wir bekamen zwar ein zweites, dass wohl essbar, aber keineswegs zart oder gut war. Und das Essen hatte einen ***** Preis. Wer nach 18.00 noch baden möchte, bekommt kein Badetuch mehr. Der Badmeister verzieht sich dann. Jetzt verstehen wir auch, warum das Restaurant fast leer war! Ich würde das Hotel empfehlen, aber keineswegs das Restaurant!

Hotelul este amplasat intr-o zona foarte linistita, la marginea statiunii Golden sands. Are multiple facilitati de relaxare. Foarte linistita zona, cu plaja privata. Excelent!

Luogo veramente bello. La struttura è adeguata ed I veri srvizi sono al top. Ottimo per un soggiorno di mare ed una visita ad un vicino monastero, alla foresta pietrificata ed alla città di Varna. Prezzi un po' altini ma l'hotel immerso in un parco di 12 ettari tutto sommato li merita.

In acest resort mi-au placut foarte mult amenajarile exterioare hotelului: parcul,plaja,restaurantele.

In primul rand faptul ca am platit camera cu vedere la mare si am primit de fapt camera cu vedere la dependinte,copaci si mult deasupra lor putina fasie din mare.Faptul ca scotand cateva sticle din minibar si punandu-le alaturi ca sa-mi pot pune apa mea minerala,am fost pusa pe nedrept sa le platesc si mai doreau sa platesc si o ciocolata care din cauza umiditatii cartonul in care era ambalata se deslipise.Nu mi s-a mai intamplat asa ceva niciodata.Apoi aerul conditionat cand pornea mirosea in camera a mucegai.Iar la micul dejun inafara de branzeturi nu aveai ce servi deoarece mezelurile toate erau oxidate iar omletele reci.A si sa nu uit la receptie trebuia sa platesti cash pt.ca pos-ul nu mergea.

Отличный отдых, просторный пляж, замечательный отель

Отель не хотел высылать подтверждение для визы. Говорили, что раз бронировали на букинге, то пусть букинг и подтверждает. А букинг этим не занимается, от него только подтверждение бронирования без необходимых подробностей, как известно. После долгой переписки и телефонных переговоров, отель все же прислал необходимое, но нервы помотали здорово. Это единственный минус. Сам отдых получился замечательным и без проблем

Mi s-au retinut bani in plus de pe card fara acordul meu Am rezervat la Hotel Imperial o camera pentru 2 nopti la pretul total de 170 euro. La hotel i-am solicitat receptionerei o camera cu balcon. Mi s-a oferit una, fara a mi se preciza ca are un alt prêt. A doua zi cand am solicitat documentele de identitate( care fusesera retinute de catre receptionera) mi s-a inmanat si factura pe care am vazut o suma mult mai mare 469.12 leva(246 euro).Solicitand lamuriri de la receptionera si apoi de la managerul hotelului mi s-a spus ca stiu ca au gresit ca nu m-au informat dar eu trebuia sa stiu ca acea camera era mai scumpa.Atitudinea managerei a fost nepoliticoasa si total neprofesionista, spunandu-mi ca nu mai are ce face, banii au fost retinuti. Pe scurt, acesta minivacanta mi-a lasat un gust amar, find un week-end ratat. I have extra money retained from the card without my consent I booked a room at the Hotel Imperial, Golden Sands, Bulgaria for two nights at the total of 170 euros. I asked the hotel receptionist a room with balcony. I was offered one, without specifying that I have a different price. The next day when I asked for identity documents (which were retained by the receptionist) and she handed me the bill, I saw a much higher amount 469.12 leva (246 euros). By requiring clarification of the receptionist and then from the hotel manager she told me that they know that they were wrong because they did not informed me but I was supposed to know that, that room was more expensive.The manager was rude and totally unprofessional by telling me that we don’t have any chance to get our money back. In short, my MiniVac I left a bitter taste, being a weekend missed.

Proximity to the beach, rooms with a see view.

This was not the first time I stayed in Imperial, I was there also last year but since then the conditions in the hotel have changed or maybe at that time I did not notice some of the things which I very much disliked this time. Although all the rooms are classified as rooms with a see view with or without a balcony in reality these rooms are completely different! There are rooms which require significant renovation and others which are of a better quality but they are all given for the same price which I find extremely unfair. We stayed for the first couple of days in a room considered a room with a balcony and see view, however we could see only a small portion of the see, the ceiling in the bathroom and the corridor was leaking, the TV was from the 80s and the room as a whole needed a total renovation, one could grade it as a 3-star hotel room. It was quite a disappointment. After continuous complaining from our side and numerous requests and reminders to the reception we were finally moved to a much nicer room, it still needed some renovation but the view was much nicer and the room was spacious. The breakfast did not meet the requirements for a five star hotel either. Breakfast: although there was a variety of cheese the cheapest cheeses were offered; some of the food did not look fresh; the cornflakes were also the cheapest one can find in the supermarket. The staff was not greeting us and not even smiling, there were only few people who were doing so. On the other hand, some of the staff talk to the guests all the time and express opinion on everything without being asked which can be quite annoying. The receptionists serving after 20:00hrs are completely incompetent to assist and advise. As a whole the staff is not trained to serve in a five star hotel. The beach was crowded! There were a lot of people from outside the resort, who were allowed to use the beach for a certain fee.

Прекрасно разположение, любезен персонал, удобни стаи, много добър СПА център.

Липса на безжичен интернет, с изключение на зоната на лоби бар. Макар и сравнително добре поддържани, мебелировката и удобствата на стаите имат нужда от освежаване и реновация, за да съответстват на нивото на 5-звезден хотел. Към настоящия момент хотелът съответтства на не повече от 4 звезди съгласно международния стандарт.
