Kempinski Hotel Zografski  

As Bulgaria is black listed at the central bank in the country I am living so I could not make CC booking and after communicating with the Hotel they kept my booking and accepted cash payment at the end of my stay. (Non of my CC worked anywhere in Bulgaria..:(

The Hotel is very very very very dated and reminds you of a bad movie form the 60's. several outlets are closed, the Japanese is run by a fast food chain and the mattress in my room was as old as the Hotel. I had to flip the mattress and use the spare pillows and place them as support under the mattress after the first sleepless night. No safe, no coffee maker only wired internet so don't bring your ipad (but speed was OK) Wireless in the lobby. Bathroom yellow tub and ceiling round and black corners, lighting all over very poor and on top broken bulbs in the room have not been changed. F&B price the highest in town - no wonder their outlets are empty - about 4 times as much as other places and good restaurants outside

I had a pleasent stay at Kempinski Zografski. I had free car parking and free Wi-fi at the lobby. The pool was very clean and nice. The price was cost effective.

I had stayed in a standart room. The room was clean but quite old. Breakfast was expensive.

The hotel features all you would expect of a true luxury hotel. The staff is very friendly, well spoken so that you feel right at home once you are through the door.

There certainly are people who would expect a recently refurbished marble-tiling in each bathroom in order to meet their expectations which you will not necessarily find here. Apart from that it is very good value for money.

A strange way to serve the bulgarian citizens and the foreign ones. I am married for a foreigner. When we went to the hotel the room was booked on my name.Of course we registered both of us with our IDs. After a small trip round the city, we went back to the room where we found a message written and addressed to my husband:that the person who is taking care about the room is on the services on the gentleeman. Stange , looked like only one person is staying in the room and I found this a big unrespect to the woman.! For me before this case the hotel was one of the preferred ones, after this case people feel defend that they are not respect !

The Kempinski Zografski was an extremely pleasant hotel for my short business trip to Sofia with all the facilities you would expect and need.

Beautiful, clean, attractive hotel, polite staff!

Could provide breakfast (will not lose money from a !!!!!!), breakfast room was very simple for 5 * and not impressive as the hotel entrance.

Nice rooms, polite staff, I felt safe for me and for my car in the parking .

We expected to have a sauna facility but it was not in operation. This feature should be removed from hotel description on bookings.com when not in operation.

I feel so sorry I sepend one night in this hotel the worrest hotel in my life really.you can not call this hotel 5 stars not even one star .you complain no one lessn .I beleive that Kempinski will spoil their name if they will match their name to this hotel
