Lighthouse Golf & Spa Hotel  

The hotel was very nice, awesome rooms and a gorgeous sea view. Also the food - the one in the menu - was great. Also the indoor/outdoor swimming pools are great and also the SPA itself.

A downside would be that you can't walk to the beach, they have a shuttle that takes you there. Also if you don't have a car remember that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the nearest town (Balchik) is about 10km away.

We like to be independent so we chose a 3 bedroom villa. It was clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen, great terrace.

Do not go in apartaments and villas outside of season - very cold, humid, the water just comes out of the tile floor, it was wet everywhere. The only way of heating up were the a/c and radiators. Villas are very far from the club house where the breackfast is (10-15 mins walk), nothing is prepared for entartaining of kids. May be this place is fine for golfers but not for families with kids.

Cost effective accommodation for golfers. Personnel is trying their best to serve you. The new hotel is good, nice spa. WiFi around the whole golf course.

Furniture in the apartments is cheap. Personnel need to be further trained to achieve real professionalism.

We loved everything about Lighthouse!! We spent a week-end there and it was amazing! We will come back for sure! As a plus, one of my frinends had her birthday during our stay, and we found a bottle of wine in the room for her. Good job!

It would be awesome if they had an exchange office in the resort.

Closest hotel from Bucharest via Calarasi and very nice restaurant.

There are 2 types of accommodation: apartment in villas and room in the hotel. For the villas apartment, were we stayed , there was a very small bathroom and the distance to the beach is around 10 km by car and you have to pay 15 bgn for 2 chair,one table and one umbrella.

I stayed in an apartment; The apartment looked very nice; the breakfast was good

hot water smells really bad; That bad that determined me to use only cold water for showering. I asked the receptionist about it and they told me they will check and they never did(remember this is a 5 star hotel) Reception staff was moving slow; I had to wait more than 20minutes every time I had to communicate with the reception staff.(check-in, check-out, questions) I stayed for 2 nights and they didn't do any cleaning and they never changed the towels (remember this is a 5 star hotel)

Quiet place, nice hotel, good food, very good for golf and relax.

From pictures you will think that the hotel is on beach or near. but is not real, seaside is very far. Internet problems on suite.

It's a very peacefull and silent place, recently built and very clean. You can for sure relax, no crowd, not any noise.

The road to the beach is not ready yet and you have to drive or wait for the shuttle bus to take you there, about 8 km. The beach itself is small and not clean. Consider to go to another beach, the best is Bendida beach, Thracian cliffs resort, same distance, 25 leva for an umbrella, towels and 2 seats.

Camere imense,bine utilate si foarte curat. Mancare excelenta si ieftina pentru 5 stele. Nu ratati midiile si fructele de mare. Piscina arata bine. Priveliste superba. Instructori romani de golf de nota 10.

Ospatarii sunt praf .Nu te poti intelege cu ei. Schema personalului din restaurant este minimalista dar au un bucatar bun pe o tura. Plaja este departe de hotel.

Amplasarea excelenta, curatenia camerelor, promptitudinea personalului.

Faptul ca la receptie ni s-a cerut alt pret decat cel din rezervarea de pe booking.

Ceea ce nu apare in oferta complexului este ca exista 2 tipuri de facilitati de cazare: un hotel nou deschis (de circa 1 luna, cu personal inca nerodat) si un complex foarte amplu de imobile construite initial pentru vinzare si din care o mare parte au ramas nevindute datorita crizei din domeniul imobiliar;imobileel nevindute sint oferite in regim de apart hotel si nu permit accesul la facilitatile spa(piscina, jacuzzi, steam bath, etc decit contra cost, aspect nementionat nicaieri in oferta primita in care complexul se prezinta ca un tot unitar;suma de plata /zi/persoana de 10 leva nu este mare dar faptul ca la prezentare totul era trecut ca all inclusive duce la o stare de nemultumire atunci cind esti pus in faat faptului implinit
