Marina Cape Vacation Complex  

Prachtige kamer/appartement, erg ruim, schoon. Eigen keuken, zithoek met TV, separate slaapkamer. Het vacation complex ziet er goed verzorgd uit, lekker zwembad met voldoende ligstoelen. Ik verbleef hier in het naseizoen, dus er waren weinig gasten. Daardoor waren ook veel winkels en voorzieningen gesloten of slechts een dagdeel geopend, maar was geen probleem.

locatie is nogal afgelegen, 2km lopen om in Aheloy te komen en vandaar kun je de bus nemen naar bijv. Burgas of Nesebar. Beide binnen een half uur te bereiken per bus/auto. Wifi deed het niet gedurende de 3 dagen dat ik hier verbleef, ik was qua internet aangewezen op het terras bij het restaurant en ook daar was de verbinding verre van goed.

I like the pools and the bar at the pool!

The bathrooms are not designed properly. When you take a shower the water goes all over the floor and and it stays there, you can easily fall and get hurt. Shower should be separated by a door from the rest of the bathroom so water doesn't splash all over the place. I also noticed that there is no shampoo or lotion offered, not to mention a hair dryer. The tv signal was cutting off the whole time making it impossible to watch tv normally. We didn't even have a phone in the room, even though there were phone numbers offered on the night stand. I would not recommend this resort to anyone unfortunately!

The apartment was really spacious and nice. As it is a new complex the furniture is in a really good condition. The visitors will find everything that is needed (wahsing machine, hd tv, air conditioner, fridge, etc.). The buildings are really nice looking and you can find restaurants, bars, and swimming pools in the complex. The breakfast is really delicious and you can choose from a quite wide range of food.

The beach is not too big but despite of it it's never really crowded. It's not a typical sand beach as it's situated in a bay and one half of the bay is covered in seaweed.

The complex is situated near the sea.The rooms have all the things you need,the staff is very helpfull.At first they gave us a studio with 2 beds and we came back to ask a studio with just one big bed.It wasn't a problem and they helped us right away.You have 2 big pools where you can relax all day or you can do some sun bathing at the beach(it would need a better beach but the one they have its good too and a big plus is that isn't very crowded).They have a spa,fitness room,a playground for kids.We had breakfast included and it was okay and everything that we ate was pretty good.

I liked the design of the hotel complex. The park around it was really beautiful. Everything was very clean. The apartment was spacious.

The apartment we got didn't have any cooker of microwave or anything, though in each of the pictures that we saw on booking.com there was something like that. The staff said that we can only get on in four days time, because they were fully booked, but when we got there, the wanted to give us an apartment above the pizzeria that would have been even noisier than the other one, so we didn't accept that. The walls were very thin, we could hear everything from the neighbouring apartments. The services of the complex are quite limited. There is one supermarket with not too many things and a not very helpful staff in it. Part of the shops and restaurants were still closed at the beginning of July, and the open ones had a limited selection. The hotel complex is quite far out, there is nothing in the vicinity but fields and a small village that isn't too attractive.

The staff were very unfriendly and did nothing to encourage you to stay in the complex. The reception staff were extremely unwelcoming and the spa staff were even worse. I would have liked to have used the spa more but the staff were so unfriendly and unwelcoming that I decided not to. I went somewhere else instead for spa treatments.

The hotel looks very nice from the onset, and once within will be excellant during the summer months. When we had dealings with the staff they were friendly.

We felt not expected by the hotel beacuse on arrival it took them almost 15 minutes to serve us at the reception. We were informed we could use the spa facilities within our price whist checking in, but when visiting the spa we were informed it was not in use until Sunday which was a day after we would have left. We were told we could use the bowling and that it opened at 9pm, when we went at 9pm it was closed so we asked security and he said it is open from 9am until 9pm, so we went the day after and were told we could not use it until after 1pm, which by this time we were to check out. At breakfast we were not expected, so had a little wait. We understand it is out of season but would have hope to have been treated the same as a summer season guest. I had a 4yr old child with me and it was very bad to not have any facilities for her, because this was the reason why I had booked this hotel in the first place.

Very quiet because of the time of year (late September). Good seaside view from large and clean appartment with lift.Staff were helpful and friendly.

No cooking facilities in room 1 kettle only! Very little stock in complex supermarket. 1 pizzeria and 1 grill only available for food with very limited menus although pizzas were good.Telephone number for shuttle taxi (excellent service)should be available to new or first time visitors to allow pre-booking taxi from airport. Normal taxi rate can be three times more expensive

Nice complex, good location, good room service.

Poor breakfasts (mayby because it was september). None corkscrew in the room, missing other things needed to make simple salad or something small to eat.

The best thing about staying at Marina Cape was the fantastic outdoor pools - very big and plenty of sunbeds as when we were there, it wasn't crowded. Didn't use other facilities as only there 2 days, even though given a free bowling game voucher at reception when booking in. Also given a free voucher for thermo and for "hummus"???? which the receptionist couldn't enlighten us further on as she spoke very little English.

The studio apartment was fine, except that there was no hairdryer as stated on booking.com website. Also led to believe that there would be cooking facilities. There was a fridge and two ring hob and crockery, glasses etc but hardly any cutlery and no saucepans or kettle. This wasn't much of an inconvenience as we were only there for 2 nights. The breakfast was very disappointing. More like a 2 star. I know most Bulgarian establishments aren't very good on breakfasts, but I expected more for a 4 star. Very little choice and the usual powdered fruit juices. It was boiled eggs and the cheap watery jam with toast both days, as don't like the cheese, cooked meat type of breakfast provided.

Peace and relax. The pools are great, the view from the restaurants too.

The rooms are nice

No chairs at the pool for all guests. Breakfast is poor and the restaurant is for the breakfast too small for so many people. It smells like kitchen in the rooms when the restaurant cook.
