Hotel Mistral    

Excellent location right in the Balchik marina. Great view of the seaside Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious rooms Balcony overlooking the marina Very clean, and the room was made up very neatly by the staff Hotel restaurant had some pretty good food in the menu (try the fish soup) Air conditioning functioning flawlessly

Poor breakfast (continental-style breakfast with low quality food - don't even try the "orange juice") There was an unpleasant odour in the bathroom It was extremely hard to set the water temperature in the shower due to faulty faucets and variations in water pressure The chairs on the balcony did not have backrests.

I liked the Botanical Garden, the sea food and the seafront (althought an area was partially under construction).

A proper beach is missing and the the streets ( the asphalt) is very bad.

I have stayed here a few times and wouldnt consider anywhere else in Balchik

unfortunatly this time there was a party going on below my room and the noise kept me awake.

Rooms were very good looking, clean and balcony view was beautiful.

The rooms are big enough, the hotel is very good situated, with a beautiful view over the yacht port in Balchik. Breakfast was various.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was awful..

Designul camerei, balconul, lobby-ul, linistea pe holuri, aspectul exterior, terasa, staff-ul si in mod special ospatarul Nicolae, atmosfera din hotel.

Very good location. All the staff were very friendly. The room was big, nice and clean. Good food in restaurant. The room had a very big balcony and the sea view from the ballcony is fabulous, free WiFi, big parking place into the back of the hotel, nice terrace in front with great view, near to the Castle of Queen Mary. The hotel has an yacht that you can rent per hour for a trip on the sea. For captain note 100 and so on

Hard to find - lacks signage from main road. Parking at rear of hotel has no direct access into hotel - luggage has to be hauled across car park, down steps and along sea front to hotel.

Wifi poor connection for 36 hours or so... Lack of any English language channels on T V ...

been four times now, just excellent every time.

I want to give my appreciation for the performance of all the staff for their hard work to make the tourits happy. Special thanks for the management involvement in solving the small issues during checking in.

Location. Rooms were quite big.

Definetly this is not a 4 star hotel (3 is more realistic). We booked 3 double rooms. One of them didn't haved a shower!!!!!!! Just a courtain; this is not acceptable not even for a 3 star hotel. We stayed in one with shower but it was quite hard to use it as the water was alternatively hot/cold.

I did liked the position and the view, the room.

The matress of the bed needed to be replaced, and the breakfast was the same every day, whit no fruits at all.

I think it's best located hotel in Balchik.

The hotel is right near the harbour and if you book a suite the view is very nice

This hotel is not a four star hotel. you don't get slippers, the air-conditioning works, but you cannot change the tempreture, Wi-fi is not available in the room, the toilet makes a strange disturbing noise every 2 minutes, even if not used, the sea view rooms have the view over another building( only if you get out the balcony you can see a small part of the sea - so if you book this sea view double room this is what you get) , the personel doesn't speak enough english -they only respond with yes,no ; the tv is the old type with very poor signal - very disturbing and hard do watch ( most of the channels are in bulgarian - only 3 in english: history, discovery, animal planet); the bathroom floor was always wet because of the poor instalations; the breakfast poor...maybe you should try to eat somewhere else. The parking isn't video supervised....etc

Location was great with views across the Black Sea, should be 'perfect' to relax!

The seating provided on the large balcony / terrace outside the bedroom was the most uncomfortable I have every had to sit on! It may look good but a metal stool? It made the terrace, in my opinion, a waste of space. This area should have been a 5* first class place to sit and relax looking over the yacht harbour and Black Sea beyond. There was also no comfortable seating in the bedroom so if you want to sit back and relax with a good book your only option is the lobby which is comfortable. A great shame and enough to stop me from going back or recommending. On a minor point, it was also the worst stocked mini bar I have ever come across!
