Good choice of breakfast, I liked that it was included with the price. Friendly staff, good location to look around the centre of Sofia.

Just that the heater in our room didn't work. And I was staying with my boyfriend and asked if the twin beds could be put together they said yes uf you like, meaning that we could do it ourselves, I would've appreciated it if one of the staff had organised to get someone else to do it for us. As a result we both slept in the same bed (single).

Cleanliness of room, elevator.

Attendant who checked us out at 7 A.M. apparently didn't speak much English. He seemed put out that I woke him up. He would not turn on the lobby light so that I could easily see my bill and receipt. He did not seem, however, to be like the other employees; so I did not judge the hotel by this one person.

I travel frequently to Sofia. I'd been in several hotels. And Niky offer the best quality/price. Fríendly staff.Good location. In my next trip I will book again Niky Hotel.

If you use the restaurant of the hotel and you request to be add the bill to your hotel account. At the check out, you can pay the hotel with credit card but you musa pay the restaurant services in cash.

I liked everything

Excellent value for money with nice clean rooms and bathrooms and friendly staff. A big plus is the restaurant that is open from noon until midnight and is frequented by locals. The food is excellent and good value (but be warned not to chose salmon as this works out - according to its weight - to be very expensive). The local red wine, Mavruda, is delicious and only 12 leva (under £6) a bottle. The hotel is in a good position within walking distance of the main sights - an important point as the transport system is difficult to work out with everything being written in the Cyrillic alphabet.

I didn't enjoy the breakfasts - there was very little to tempt the tastebuds, but some people would probably enjoy it.

I thought the cost was to expensive for the quality of the accommodation we had lights hanging off the ceiling and the bath panel would fall off has you stood in the bath for a shower the standard of the rooms was not upto a 3 star + more of a second star however the staff were polite and helpful and the food was good I just dont think it warrants such a high price per night for the rooms ive stayed in better forthe same price

Well-run modern hotel, comfortable beds, well-fitted bathroom (glass- door shower), quiet back room, good breakfast with cooked eggs offered. Helpful receptionists. Not too far from center on quiet street.

Hotel rooms are starting to look shabby. My wash basin had a large crack in it.

I have stayed at Hotel Niky several times and am completely satisfied with the place, the staff and the restaurant.

It is a little inconvenient that the restaurant bill cannot be included with final bill and paid by credit card. This is not so important when one is aware of that.

The hotel is very clean and in a good location only about 3 blocks from the main street. One girl at the hotel desk was extremely friendly and helpful -- the others were polite but not engaging. We upgraded to a suite and thought we would get a big room but that was not the case. I think it used to be a big room but they put a wall down the center and now it is a small narrow room on one side, with the kitchenette, then a chair, couch, and desk (in that order). On the other side of the wall are first a bathroom -- very nice, all tiled and clean, and then a very small bedroom. Both the bedroom and living room had windows that opened and also both rooms had air conditioners that worked well. The kitchenette has a hot pot and 4 cups and saucers and tubes of instant coffee and tea bags. There are no other dishes or anything. Comfortable bed.

Lack of electrical outlets. No electrical outlet in the bathroom for a curling iron -- only the one on the hair dryer that is for razors only. I had to use the only outlet in the kitchenette to curl my hair. Wireless internet did not work well in our room but once we plugged in the cat5 cable it worked fine. The woman who prepares the omelets in the breakfast room took many cigarette breaks and although she stood just outside the door, all the smoke came into the breakfast room.

Great city centre location. Friendly staff. Cheap beer. Top quality free porn.

Very good location in a quiet street in the city center of Sofia. Very good breakfast buffet. Comfortable rooms with flatscreen tv and coffee and tea making facilities. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with a splendid terrace (at the back of the hotel). You should make a reservation to make sure you've got a table. Friendly and English speaking staff, as well in the hotel as in the restaurant.

Musty smell in the bathroom. I paid cash but had to ask for a payment receipt (it should have been given automatically).
