Niky Hotel  

My husband and I wanted to explore the capital city, Sofia and was recommended by friends to stay at the Niky Hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room and bathroom was bigger than we anticipated it to be, however the pillows were tiny! The hotel definitely needs to buy better quality larger pillows! We will return when we hear that the hotel has bought new pillows for the rooms.

Staff was very kindly, room clean, good position.

If you pay in Euro is more convenient, if you pay in Leve it don't have a good change.

Centrally located, close to the Central bus station, clean and good value for money.

Cheap and cheerful...does what it says on the tin! I have stayed here before and find it very good value, friendly, secure and nice beer garden. Nice breakfast included in price and good value resturant in beer garden. There is wifi on all floors. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The location is very good, 2 minutes to Vitosha Blvd on foot...what more do you want...just book it! Declan McEvoy...Ireland

First and foremost 'value for money'. As a business traveller I need good internet connection which I got at the hotel and it was included in the very reasonable price. Breakfast was good. My room was clean and it was quiet during the night.

Nice cleaning staff, clean and quiet room, good restaurant at the hotel.

There were no possibility to regulate temperature in my room. Wireless internet has some ports blocked, so not all applications will work (E.G. vpn). Fortunately there's also possibility to connect the cable - everything works fine then.

Excellent value for money with nice clean rooms and bathrooms and friendly staff. A big plus is the restaurant that is open from noon until midnight and is frequented by locals. The food is excellent and good value (but be warned not to chose salmon as this works out - according to its weight - to be very expensive). The local red wine, Mavruda, is delicious and only 12 leva (under £6) a bottle. The hotel is in a good position within walking distance of the main sights - an important point as the transport system is difficult to work out with everything being written in the Cyrillic alphabet.

I didn't enjoy the breakfasts - there was very little to tempt the tastebuds, but some people would probably enjoy it.

I thought the cost was to expensive for the quality of the accommodation we had lights hanging off the ceiling and the bath panel would fall off has you stood in the bath for a shower the standard of the rooms was not upto a 3 star + more of a second star however the staff were polite and helpful and the food was good I just dont think it warrants such a high price per night for the rooms ive stayed in better forthe same price

Well-run modern hotel, comfortable beds, well-fitted bathroom (glass- door shower), quiet back room, good breakfast with cooked eggs offered. Helpful receptionists. Not too far from center on quiet street.

Location, very closed to Vitosha Bd. Staff was friendly and helpfull. free Wifi in the hotel

the walls were very thin and we could here noises from corridors or other rooms

The room was large with a balcony which was a nice surprise.The hotel had it's own restaurant just at the bottom of the garden,lovely place to eat and very good value.Choice at breakfast was good and you could have omelettes ,scrambled egg & fried eggs made fresh in front of you.
