The hotel stuff is realy very very friendly, Especially on reception desk yana, milena and the hotel manager was so much helpfull, Ow how to forget sasha( Alexander ) was also so funny and helpfull guy. Next time when I will come to this city definitely my choise will be nord hotel.

The staff was very helpful. I arrived a day in advance, and though they were full, the receptionnisr helped me find another place close by for the night. Also, I could leave my car in front of the hotel without any worry.

The manager Petko and his staff were excellent and very attentive, Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was also immaculately clean. They even arranged a hair appointment for me and accompanied me to the saloon so that they knew I had got the right place. Breakfast was adequate and lovely I like the fact that you picked your breakfast from a few choices which meant everything was freshly prepared. The only thing I can really think of is I would have preferred tiles or wooden flooring in the room but that's my personal choice, The carpets after 6 years are getting a bit old and tired looking which in fact made them look grubby.

I chose the Nord Hotel from many others because of its excellent customer feedback. I was not disappointed. It is a really nice small hotel located just over the river, and about 10 minutes' walk to the old town. Reception staff were very helpful. Wi-Fi worked well. You are given a choice of six breakfast options, supplemented by toast, tea/coffee, and fruit juice. This was adequate. This was a good shower in our room with no step or tray, just a gently sloping floor. Very good value for money and better than some four star hotels. We used a couple of really good eating venues in the city. Afredo's for ice cream and Gusto for a large selection of meals. Both were on or close to Alexander St.

Great little hotel. Fantastic value and the service staff was so helpful, accommodating, awesome. They really helped us get to know the city, had fabulous suggestions, and did all they could to make are stay as relaxing as possible. They constantly answering our questions and on the phone making things happen for us. Old town is just a five minute walk there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I would say the only suggestion would be for the hotel to spend a little extra money to update the comforters and drapes. If they did that it would update the room from the 70s to go with the other modern designs of the rest of the hotel and enhance the entire feel of the room. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay at hotel nord.

The hotel staff at Nord Hotel provided the best service we have ever received!! The hotel manager, Gergana (Gery), and her staff (Melena and the others) were extremely attentive and worked to meet our every need at the hotel. They also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. Every time we needed a taxi, they would call for us. We were charged a lower price when they called and they would even go outside when the taxi arrived and explain to the driver where we wanted to go! They did an amazing job looking after the entire group of us!! We had a fabulous time in Plovdiv and would definitely recommend this hotel and this city as a fun and inexpensive place to visit. The Bulgarian people are wonderful, friendly, and talented. We recommend taking the shuttle from the airport, it is only 3 lev (1.5 Euro) and they will drop you off at a bus stop in the city of Plovdiv. From there, take a taxi to the hotel. To return to the airport, have the hotel call to reserve a taxi - it is only 6 Euro (or 12 lev) per taxi if they call. The airport is approximately 12 kilometers from Plovdiv.

Excellent value for money and very friendly, helpful front desk staff. It's plain but clean. The showers are only a shower hose in an open corner of the bathroom but we manged quite well. For 22 euros a night, with a simple but adequate breakfast, this is an amazing budget choice. Not right in the Old Town but definitely walkable.

The room was clean and pleasant. The size is definitely bigger than I thought. I do recommend it. They do not have a parking lot but you can park your car on the street in front of the hotel.

Clean hotel, decent sized room and bathroom and friendly reception staff that could speak English fluently. Very little. Might have been nice to have some TV channels in something other than Bulgarian, but then again, it is in Bulgaria... Also it's a good 15 minute walk to the main shopping bit of Plovdiv, but it's a nice walk over the river.

The wonderful friendly attitude on arrival at reception. Everybody was so anxious to give us advice on where to visit, dine etc. The location is perfect and just about 5 mins walk to the old town. There are very good restaurants very near the hotel. They organized a taxi to the Airport and also negotiated an excellent price. We will def return to Plovdiv which is a beautiful historic city and we will be staying in Hotel Nord again.

The hotel is small, the staff is very friendly. It is conveniently located close to the center of the city. The room was clean and quite spacious, the only complaint was about the air conditioner - it worked rather noisily. You may get 6 different options of breakfast (you have to order the evening before). In fact, it may be quite convenient for business people attending exhibitions in Plovdiv, as the Exhibition center is just across the road, but I expect business people to choose something more luxurious. On the whole, Nord hotel is really good value for money, with very friendly staff and family-like atmosphere.

Very close to airport. Good room/ great rate. Very nice,good and helpful staff (owners) Also they give very good dinnertip which is located near hotel. When we fly from Dortmund we come back here.
