Bedroom 218. Staff at the Front Desk on the Tuesday morning, who reacted promptly and appropriately when I complained about room 206.

(1) Bedroom 206. The first room I was allocated. Because of its size and the noise from the air conditioning it should not be used as a bedroom in a 5 star hotel. It might be appropriate in a 2 star, or maybe only in a 1 star hotel. It seemed that one of the main air- conditioning ducts for the hotel is up the side wall of room 206. (2) The leisure centre being out of action was a disadvantage. The Trinity Leisure centre is not up to 5 star hotel standard.

Excellent and helpful staff and lavish breakfast buffet!

Poorly maintained interior. With Radisson Blu tag this hotel should be at least two steps up comparing to other hotels from the chain i've been visiting before.

Location and service

The noise .... disco under or next to hotel... And till 4am I seemed to be bounching in my bed on some undefined beat.

Business room at the 6th floor are good

Specially booked this hotel for the business offices, this was closed. Invited customers in the hotel to have dinner together on tuesday evening, not possible because party was going on. Not 1 table was free for guest of the hotel to sit down and have a drink with your customers. They told me that I have to invite them to my room and I could order food and drinks at room service !!!

The location is excellent and the view to the Nievski Cathedral superb.

Lunch or dinner takes more than 35 minutes. Service is very bad trained. Music at breakfast , lunch or dinner is very loud and inappropriate. Difficult to maintain a conversation.

ideal for city trip, very central, nice people at the reception, got all the infos needed. I would say 1A+ for all service.

The buffet to expensif for Bulgaria

Position

We were thrilled to receive a complimentary bottle of wine in our room as it was our wedding anniversary. After the first night was cold due to the city winter heating system not being switched on we received a no-fuss, free upgrade to room 301 on the 3rd floor, This is an apartment with a wonderfully big bathroom, two TVs, a separate bedroom and the best possible view of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. We were sad to leave. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive, especially when we needed to change rooms and when we got locked out of our room after taking the card key into the sauna.

The shower in room 313 ran cold water for one second every ten, the room was cold at night and it was hard to get the TV to work consistently. But, as I wrote above, we were moved to a better room without fuss. The hotel is expected to complete its mezzanine level renovations by the end of November.

Everything was on the highest level as usually in Radisson Blu network. Nearby there is a huge park for runners. I even got a special map with runners paths from the hotel stuff.
