Saint Ivan Rilski Hotel & Spa  

My family had a great time at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and the facilities. Loved the pool and not crowded at all. Would go back again. We stayed in a studio room on a different building from the hotel. The room was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen.

Minor remarks: one of the nights the pool was closed before 9 pm (official closing hour) and I was not happy because that was the only period of the night that I could swim. It would have been nice to have a warm connection from the building we stayed to the swimming pool/spa center (there was a sign in the elevator to take us to the spa center but it actually sent us to the basement with no lights).

the rooms were beautifull and clean.the swimming pool had the right temperature.the spa center was very nice and we enjoy our stay there very much!the dinner was nothing special but tasty enough.

if you book a room in the buildings outside the main building,you will have to walk outside to reach the spa center.it was difficult for us to find the hotel because there was no sign for the hotel.this was our only problem.

Nice and helpful staff (even at the ski-storage room, which was by the way really cool with the boot-warmer), beautiful design of rooms and common areas, especially the Mehana has a great atmosphere with the wines and open fireplaces (also the food, the wines and the service were outstanding, for good value for money), our towels and sheets were changed even if not needed nor asked, breakfast table was huge and plenty of various and nice food. Room was warm (!!), even if it was -19 degrees outside at 9am. I would go back.

The only negative feeling is related to the spa, as the Hammam was out of order that week (however we had steam bath instead), and the resting area is too small for the size of the hotel and the number of people staying there (15 beds id the resting area and an other cca 15-20 places around the pool) - for some reason though we always managed to find a bed to lay down. Gym is in the same room with the pool - if someone is interested (I did not care). And it is true that no signs at all to give you directions, but you can always ask people in the street, everyone knows where the hotel is.

09/01/2012 - 18/01/2012 1) Good staff 2) Large room with good bathroom 3) Ski shuttle work 8:15 - 12:00 and 14:30 - 17:00 every 15 minutes. 4) Good restaurant and meal inside.

1) Cold in the room, because we had a room in the corner of the floor. 2) No kids menu or meal for small children. We have a baby 2 years old. It was a small problem. If it has oatmeal or buckwheat porridge, it will be better. 3) Swimming pool height = 150-160sm not for small children. 4) Some people have bad smell from them and didn't wash themself. Because of it sometimes bad smell in the area near with sauna. 5) Wi-fi good work only on the first floor. No wi-fi in the room. 6) Containers for hot food take-away restaurant made from polisterola (PS). It isn't intended to be a hot meal and is harmful to health!!! But it is good hotel.

It's quite near the cable transport, the hotel provide many shuttles to get you to the slopes, very nice view, good spa. We were there before and we liked the place.

It was a problem with the water (practically no water around the New Year's Eve !!!) and the hotel staff reacted really poor - they even seemed to be angry on who asked what's happening :) ... and of course no water supplies in the rooms. It was a two days problem so I think their attitude was indeed poor for a professional level. We received no compensation for that (and I'm not talking necessarily of a material one, but it could be) and the New Year's Eve meal and organization was modest. More, a car parked nearby (to be fair, not in the hotel parking) was stolen, which makes you feel a little insecure.

Kind and efficient personnel, excellent spa center, clean, well equipped rooms, quiet location

Everything was O.K. No remarks.

Great outdoors areas. The breakfast was not bad.

The room we were first offered had a folding bed which was broken. No batteries in the TV remote. Just small towels in the bathroom. It was hard to convince the staff they need to change the room and give us one with real third bed, not to mention it was my birthday I that really ruined that holiday. Need to really work on friendliness of the staff and be a bit more flexible when things are broken and not working.

μείναμε στα διαμερίσματα τα οποία ηταν πολύ ευρύχωρα, και καθαρά. εξαιρετικό πρωινό. πολύ καλές εγκαταστάσεις spa. καθημερινή αλλαγή σε σεντόνια και πετσέτες. σίγουρα θα έμενα ξανά αν και θα προτιμούσα να ήταν λίγο πιο κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης.

ο δρόμος κοντά στο ξενοδοχείο δεν ειναι στην καλύτερη κατάσταση. αυτό δεν προκαλεί κάποιο πρόβλημα, απλά χρειάζεται προσοχή. ελαφρώς αυξημένη απόσταση από το κέντρο εαν κάποιος θέλει να πηγαίνει περπατώντας.

το πρωινό ήταν πολύ πλούσιο, το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο και ζεστό και το πάρκινγκ ιδιωτικό. μπαίναμε και βγαίναμε με το κλειδί του δωματίου στο πάρκινγκ.

ηταν τρομερο.πηγαμε μαζι με φιλους το τριημερο της καθαρα δευτερας.ειχαμε ενα δωματιο στον 4ο οροφο σαν σουιτα,τεραστιο,καθαρο και τοσο ζεστο που καμια φορα εκλεινα τα καλοριφερ.ολο το ξενοδοχειο εχει τοση πολυ ζεστη που γυριζεις με το κοντομανικο.οι υπηρεσειες καλες,το πρωινο πολυ καλο και πλουσιο.το ιδιο και το δειπνο.με 10€ τρως παρα πλου καλα.η αποσταση απο την γονδολα ειναι περιπου 10-15 λεπτα με τα ποδια αλλα υπαρχει και mini bus ανα 5 λεπτα που σε πηγαινει κατευθειαν εκει. θα ξαναπηγαινα σιγουρα γιατι με τοσο καλη τιμη για τα δεδομενα του Bansko περασαμε υπεροχα.

θα ηθελα λιγο πιο χαμογελαστο το προσωπικο.εκανε μια χαρα την δουλεια του αλλα λιγο χαμογελο προς τους επισκεπτες δεν ειναι δυσκολο.
