Santa Marina Hotel    

It lloks like it could be nice in the future and the pools were nice.

Most of it was not finished. Pool was cold and not heated.

Very nice building architecture.

We booked our room via www.booking.com but when we arrived to the hotel we were not allowed to park inside the hotel territory. We had to park out of the entrance. We were even not welcomed in to the hotel territory. I had to walk by myself to the reception inside so I left my family in the car with two small kids at night in a rural area in the dark. When I was thinking to make a quick checkin because it was late night I was told by the receptionist that they had no reservation. I told the lady and insisted that I have one Two-Bedroom Apartment reserved for us and she said they did not confirm my reservation so I had no reservation. I was shocked. We were given one bedroom basement apartment for one or two people but we were 4 people. I had to sleep in a simple folded bed which was folded twice at that night I wounded my wrist and one of my kids had to sleep on the couch. A day later were given ground floor Two-Bedroom Apartment which had very cheap furnishings. No flat screen as they advertised. Actually first night the flat screen was one foot size so you had to sit right in-front of it to watch. Sheets and pillows were smelling like horrible they were all stink. They probably only wash the covers but not the pillows and blankets. We communicated with the sales center of this closed community building to look for opportunities to buy a residential building for our summer holidays in there; however, we had the worst nights in the Santa Marina hotel. We will never get back to Santa Marina Hotel. Poor investors they did make very big investment but service needs to be improved in Santa Marina. By the way, for the first night they told us that they will not charge us for the price we booked for but 20 Euro less due to the difficulties we had in the first night while checking in; however the room we were given first night was probably being used by the personnel of Santa Marina and it was not reserved for the customers.

Easy access by main road and great views for most of the apartments. Good design of rooms, easy and comfortable.

Not enough shops on site, , the cost of food can be more than double in other parts of Bulgaria.

Is a great place for families. It was quiet at all hours of the day with several pools which all contained kiddie pools. Also there were several playgrounds. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Everything is very tidy, clean and realy relaxing.

Some of the staff doesn't seem to care about clients needs and fillings. On our first night my famaly had to share two studio flats instead of two beadroom flat which we had booked origenaly. So double booking seems to be problem for the management

The entire personnel were very polite and helpful. The set up of the hotel is amazing and eco friendly. We really had an unforgettable experience. Thank you to all the boys and girls at Santa Marina for making our stay so enjoyable.

We liked everything at Santa Marina. The thing that was missing in the room was a wall mirror which was provided upon request.

The hotel apartments are spread in the Santa Marina holiday village, which is beautifully placed on a hill near the Sozopol lagune. Transport to the two beaches is provided by electric buses for the people, which have problems climbing the stairs to the vilas. A shuttle reaches in 3 minutes the old town of Sozopol. For all potential problems I saw, it appeared a solution is offered. For quiet and relaxing sea holidays maybe the best place in BG.

We adore the location, the swimming pools and all the green in the complex.

This time we found a couple of things which were rather dissapointing: 1. The I-net has strange stone-aged way of connecting. It took a while before we were online. No Wi Fi in the rooms. 2. There's a little supermarket in the complex which is handy and well thought. But the service is so slow that you don't want to enter again.

We loved the look of the place. It's very child friendly if that's what you want. Most staff are great. Great pool. But on site bars empty at night despite good entertainment.

We booked 2 couples on same booking with same card. But our rooms where 4 blocks apart. They said we should have asked for rooms together. Our friends room was lovely. Our was awful. Fridge door hanging off. Shower screen fell off. Cable tv didn't work. Distressed furniture which just looked cheap. And this complex is not good for anyone with mobility issues there are steps everywhere and no lifts in any buildings some with 5 floors.

It was really cool.

They charged me with the cost of accomodation immediatelly when I made my booking. Which is not fair because it is written on the booking.com website that bank card details only for booking. I wanted to pay my room with a different bank card and for this reason I paid two times for the accomodation and I'm still waiting for my repayment. If I get my money back I will be very happy with this hotel.

Clean, comfort, quiet apartments. Nice territory. Facilities for children.

The location was very good, rooms were clean and we've vot a beautiful seaside view from our room. Also very good quality/price ratio.

Strange that for a 4* hotel there is no wireless coverage in the rooms.

Nice location and perfect for family vacations. The rooms are very clean, not too dense. The hotel staff is nice.

The prices in booking.com do not match the ones you will find on site. This is a bit annoying.

Hi very good spot for less money we enjoyed very much the emptiness of sozopol as well beaches, there were no tourist and this allowed us to be close to happy greetings

We appreciate the view of the sea.....and the confort of the appartment, peaceful place.

прекрасный отдых в сентябре. бархатный сезон - вторая половина сентября. мягкое тепло, море. замечательный ландшафтный дизайн. доброжелательный персонал. для русскоязычных - простота в общении с обслуживающим персоналом. отдыхающих мало. спокойное времяпровождение. отдых в это время для тех, кто устал от шумных мегаполисов, проблем бытовых, по работе. мы путешествовали на своем автомобиле, проблем со стоянкой не было. серьезная security. организовано так, что на территории отеля только "свои". на территории отеля есть магазины, но главное - минимаркет, в котором можно купить продукты, а также все необходимое по ценам, как и в городе. рядом исторический созополь, 2 км, если на своем авто- просто супер, если нет, то рядом с отелем такси, а также от отеля по расписанию ходит автомобильчик типа "паровозик" за смешные деньги, сказать трудно, т.к. не пользовались. поезжайте в санта марину, не пожалеете!

в отеле много точек, где можно покушать, однако после 15 сентября закрываются все, кроме основного ресторана, а когда нет выбора- не всегда хорошо. территория очень большая, на которой расположена санта марина, представляет гористый ландшафт, поэтому приходится много ходить по разнообразным лестничкам, переходам, дорожкам. это для тех, кого не страшат прогулки по пересеченной местности.

Необходимо е да си сложат комарници, защото прииждат различни насекоми; в такъв комплекс да нямаш WI-FI интернет е недопустимо, а да си вързан с Lan-кабел 1,5м, иначе всичко друго беше на ниво :)

Отель ориентирован на отдых семей с детьмя. Находится в очень живописном месте.

Единственно, что не очень понравилось - это море (непосредственно возле отеля). Отель расположен на берегу бухты, море достаточно грязное, а до пляжей с чистой водой нужно либо идти, либо ехать.

Великолепно съчетание на зеленината на дърветата и синьото на морето. Спокойно, прекрасно място за отдих и почивка и в същото време с достатъчно възможности за забавления.

хороший отель, комфортные чистые номера, много ресторанов и бассейнов, красивая большая территория

море через дорогу, отношение к гостям (в отличии от собственников аппартаментов) абсолютно хамское, анимация ниже среднего, очень тяжело ходить по бесконечному количеству лестниц с коляской (вся территория находится на склоне холма)

l'organizzazione pressochè perfetta in tutti i settori.

una cosa apparentemente banale, ma molto,molto fastidiosa: l'attivazione dell'alimentazione elettrica sia in ingresso che in uscita dovrebbe avvenire automaticamente all'aperura della porta principale -tramite un timer tarato su 30 secondi- per evitare, soprattutto al buio, manovre scomode con la chiave!
