Solaris Hotel  

Solaris Hotel is great for people looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Breakfast was excellent, a Swedish buffet (with very tasty local pastry specialities, cheese and fruit) that was just right. The hotel provides lunch or dinner only at request (you have to notifiy them at breakfast if you want lunch or dinner there) but ask the owners about Biju Restaurant that is very close and will give you a taste of Bulgarian cuisine at good prices.

Even though Solaris Hotel is not situated right on the beach, the 5 minute walk each morning only made our stay even more pleasurable.

Very good location and friendly staff. Ideal for a nice, quiet getaway by the beach.

The owner and his wife were both very friendly and helpfull with all our needs. They made us feel at home very nice people !

Poor breakfasts. Juice paid separately on the breakfast.

отличное размещение: теплый номер, балкон, чайные принадлежности, наличие ванны в санузле, скромный вкусный завтрак, хорошие владельцы. без доп.запроса в номер поставили детскую кроватку для младенца. утром для завтрака накрыли стол в фойе (было мало постояльцев в канун нового года) и во время завтрака приятно побеседовали с милыми хозяевами, ребенок познакомился с хозяйскими питомцами. при оплате курс был не завышен (часто в других отелях нагло считали по курсу 1евро=2лева).

Замечательный домашний отель с радушными хозяевами, вкусными обильными завтраками, ненавязчивым сервисом, в десяти минутах от пляжа. Хочется вернуться снова. A wonderful home hotel with frendly and cordial hosts, a delicious variety breakfasts, unobtrusive service, ten minutes from the beach. Wants go back again.

Pampered people could have find faults. Избалованные найдут недостатки.

Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij

The owners of the hotel are a retired old couple. They are very friendly and helpful. I got sick one day and they offered me free medicines, also they helped me eat suitable food and gave me directions to an apothecary / doctor if necessary. The manager of the hotel also had a pleasant chat with me in the garden about his life abroad and the history of the hotel, which I enjoyed greatly. I am very pleased with my stay in the hotel.

There are a few minor downsides of the hotel which are mostly relative to one's own expectations. For example, the prices of the Northern Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria are generally much higher than in the South, so we had to pay 38 euros per night at this hotel, but few days ago in the resort St. Vlas we payed 21 Euros per night in a hotel of similar quality. However, this is not a complaint because we knew in advance of this price difference, and this remark is included only to put things in perspective with other Bulgarian resorts. Also although the room was very clean and tastefully decorated, it was quite small and not suitable for reading/writing at home. I guess this would not be a problem if the guest wants to spend the whole day out and comes back only to sleep. The hotel is a bit far away from the beach, more than 20 min walk, and there are no streets and street lights in the neighbourhood, but only footpaths around chaotically built houses and family hotels, so coming back at night time can be frustrating, and one can easily get lost. Apart from these minor points, everything else was quite enjoyable.

I felt like I was at home. Many thanks to hospitable hosts. The beach is a 5 minutes walk, Varna is 15 minutes by a bus. Everything you might need for beach is possible to get with help of Georgi and his wife. Чувствовали себя будто к родственникам приехали в гости. Пляж в 5 минутах, Варна в 15 минутах на автобусе (остановка Марек находится в 15 минутах от дома). Если нам было что-то нужно, то Георгий или его жена помогали нам очень быстро. В отеле есть циновки для пляжа, пляжные зонты, которые можно брать с собой. Рекомендую.
