Good clean room, great shower, wifi, excellent room rates and walking distance to lots of places, staff were very helpful and friendly, would definately stay here again. Only a couple of things, curtain rail broken so curtains didn't close properly and phone/internet socket hanging off.

This is the 3rd trip staying at this hotel. They honored my booking.com requests for a room in the back side, + ensured the inet, shower, a/c, & refresher were in working order prior to arrival. This trip was almost 50% off so I grabbed the rate here. Skipped the breakfast, as the whole MEast has a fascination with hotdogs, toast, and coffee as the main total meal. Though it was readily available. I had a chance to view the below-ground parking and can see where the main complaints here are about tiny parking for those people who drive around in huge gas-eating SUVs. Sub-compacts or compacts would be best down there, though street parking is easily obtained, so park outside instead of trying in the medieval basement. I took a taxi from the airport, so wasn't concerned.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fareeda Palace. It's centrally located near several shops, restaurants and the National Museum. The service was both friendly and helpful, and there was no noise from the street. The rooftop pool was also very nice along with the steam room. Our only real complaint was that the beds were quite hard. Also, they were in the process of fixing the sauna so it couldn't be used.

Free wi-fi in the lobby + free wired broadband in the rooms. SINGLE-size rooms are very spacious for the price, to include full-size open Kitchen (tall fridge, micro, toaster, coffee stand, double sinks, lots of cabinet space), large Living Room with the kitchen (32-inch+ wide-screen lcd tv with international satellite, plush padded full-size couch, with equally plush sofa chair, coffee table + large side table), separate Latrine (very large stall shower, wide sink area, comfortable toilet, air refresher), large Bedroom (king size bed, nightstands/lamps, office desk, huge wardrobe cabinet, full-sized wide windows nearly floor to ceiling, extra padded bench). Privacy (3 layers of doors), close grocery/eateries, airport 15mins, ocean nearby The wired internet wasn't near the office desk in the Bedroom, it was near the plush sofa chair in the Living Room (I suppose to watch tv), so had to use the wide arms of the couch for my laptop (not a major issue unless someone wants to game using a usb mouse..). Also this is a 'Family' hotel, so visitors aren't allowed, which may dampen thoughts for singles wanting to meet someone new outside. Can always check in as a couple, get a 2nd key in case you meet someone, and then have them come in as your spouse. Simply say that s/he will be flying in later, and they shouldn't ask for their passport/ID after that. (free upgrade to single if Studio isn't available!)

The hotel staff were very polite helpful. Whenever I needed something or there was a problem in the room, they immediately took care of it. The bed sheets and the towels were very old and smelt heavily of bleach and detergents because of overuse. I don't care much about food but I should say that I have never seen such a limited choice of breakfast anywhere in te world.

The hotel is definitely for family. It's actually okay for the amount charged. Self-catering hotel and for people that love to cook their own food, it's just the right place for you. Only the mattress is hard. They need to change all beds in the hotel to more comfortable ones.

This is my second stay at the Fareeda Palace Apartments and as per my previous review.... I have no complaints - unfortunately this trip was cut short but the 3 nights I stayed I found the staff as accommodating as previous and it is excellent value for money!

The size of the apartments and the fact that it was two seperate apartments and not just two bedrooms. The noise from outside because of the nightclub opposite.

Accent colour on walls was nice Huge apartment - no furniture! Not even a table and chairs ... 4 people, 2 towels provided, 4 cups - 2 broken, air conditioner sounded like jet airplane taking off - even noisier than all the yahoos outside celebrating National Day. Hot water not working in one bathroom and beds like concrete. Nothing to recommend at all. Staff did respond to complaints about towels and water, though.

It was ok and nice while staying at the hotel The think which i did'nt like was that there where no peoples inside the hotel or in other words where our room was there no one was beside us because my wife like peoples gathering. If I had to come next time can we will be given room beside some of the singles.
