The location of the hotel for people/families interested in shopping or going to the cinemas. The hotel is walking distance to at least two malls (Seef & Al Aali) and 5 to 10 minutes driving distance to at least three other malls (Bahrain Mall, Dana Mall and City Center Mall). The suite we booked was quite spacious and fulfilled our needs as a family with young children. We had read a review by an earlier guest of the hotel complaining about smell. We share that view. The elevators seem insufficient for the traffic on them. The fruit in the breakfast could be checked and washed before being served. Finally, while checking in, our credit card was pre-authorized twice blocking our limit. We were told it was a mistake by the hotel checking in agent and that it would take couple of weeks for the pre-authorization to be revoked. |

I enjoyed the suite and all the services available in it also its closeness to the shopping malls within walking distance . I also congratulate the management for their choice of all the staff , The food was very delicious and plenty i would really recomend this hotel to all my friends. |

The style and feel of the hotel is unique.....very homey and cozy hotel. its closeness to various distinctive shopping malls makes it one of my favorite hotels in the Seef district area |

The Mercure went above my expectations. I recently stayed at a so-called 5 star hotel in another Middle Eastern country which was way below standard, so when I booked at the Mercure I didn't have particularly high expectations. But I was blown away with the room and the service. It made my stay in Bahrain all the more enjoyable. |
