The room rate booked with booking.com was not charged by the hotel, they charged more then the agreed rate.

Very quiet, clean, and almost everything I wanted was available.

Hotel charged me for incidentals upfront when I told the staff I didnt want any amount "held" to my visa. I didn't appreciate the sense of mistrust, and that didn't sink well with me for a 5-star hotel. The staff didn't try to meet me in the middle in that respect and in a couple other matters. Also, breakfast buffet was a bit expensive. Stil, it had variety and was good.

Staff very friendly & welcoming on arrival. I was offered a complimentary upgrade and late check out which was excellent. Cleanliness of the rooms was excellent as was the comfort of the bed :)

The receptionist was rude at the beginig which needed the attended of her supervisor. & yaa you can't Accses the Platinum Lung with your friend! Even if you booked a Platinum Suit for two persons, because its only for Couples ! How about mention it on Ur web?

I really like the staff, I stay there with my girlfriend on a regular basis and they always remember us. They are all very friendly and always smiling.

Our stay was excellent and we will book at the Gulf hotel again on our next visit.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the bedroom was nice and clean if a littlle small.

There were no outside adult pool facilities during our stay due to renovation works. The pool side bar was terrible. There was no draft beer on offer; only canned beer was available at bd 30 which was a total rip off. The bar itself was closed off due to painting works ... not the place to have a relaxing drink.

The hotel over all is great but there superior rooms are not up to bar with a 5 star hotel
