We liked the surroundings and the relaxed atmosphere When we book, which is usually well in advance, we request a room that is close to the water but when we check in we find that those rooms are not available. |

Conveniently located close to the centre of Manama, yet designed in a way that you always feel in a resort somewhere far Restaurants are not too great, typical of Novotel |

It was right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Service is a bit slow at times. |

We loved walking right out of our room and being at the pool and loved the pool and pool bar - there was enough shade so you could stay in the pool for hours without getting sunburnt. At the price charged, I did think the toiletries provided were extremely basic - one small shampoo, bath gel, body cream and two small bars of soap. |

It was a really relaxing environment and the staff were very nice in accommodating my stay. The wait staff at the hotel were the poorest wait staff I've ever encountered. You would sit down for a coke and it would take at least 10 minutes before you got served. They would forget simple things like a knife and fork, milk for coffee and parts of the order. They also forgot to bring change after closing a bill. I think most of them must have been stoned or high. |

Excellent resort with a fantastic seafood restaurant. Strongly recommended. In this season, sea was totally full of giant jellyfishes. The beach could have been cleaned more often. |

Without doubt the beach is an asset and should be enjoyed. Breakfast was a delight. Staff were friendly and polite for the most part, however, it was strange witnessing someone being evicted at 0645 by security! The rooms are satisfactory, however, the hotel should bear in mind that it is in competition with many other hotels, which have superior fittings in their rooms ie walk in showers, whirlpool baths etc. |

I liked that it was a sea side hotel and spa and that it is near thecity and the shopping malls... wellm all of Bahrain is like that... that hotel is a little under staffed, you'll struggle to get service anywhere, but when you do it is friendly and with a smile.... although the staff is a little under trained... the breakfast buffet was also not the best i've seen... |
