This functional property has an outdoor pool and sun terraces on the grounds. Elbow Beach is a 5-minute walk from Dawkins Manor and the bars and restaurants at Hamilton City are a 15-minute walk away....

Room with a great view plus good service.
There was little else nearby so an evening out involved a bus or taxi journey
Location of property. Friendly staff, well prepared food, proximity to local attractions, best beach in Bermuda.
One too many buffets in a four night stay. Need a beach service for chairs etc. the property needs some basic repairs for stairways to the beach.
For Bermuda the price was reasonable. The food was very good.
Location: the ocean-front rooms really are on the ocean front, the beach is magnificent, and there are other restaurants right next door Very friendly staff
Beach facilities not brilliant, and there was nobody to help with umbrellas, loungers, etc. Bermuda is expensive, but then we knew that
great beach conducive to relax, quiet but close to Hamilton
The location & beach r excellent. Not to far from Hamilton by bus.
There r a few kinks that need to be worked out. There should be 2 bottles of water in the room on a daily basis. Room service would be a plus! On the booking.com site they asked if there were any special needs. I put them in the box and when we got to the hotel they had no idea of what we were talking about. That communication is lacking. The toilet bowel in our room stopped working, although repaired quickly, was still annoying and unhealthy. The restaurant price r outrageous, especially with the tax & tip included
Beach was spectacular Our room had an amazing ocean view Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
Somewhat outdated accommodations. Restaurant closes at 9 which is too early. There are a tremendous amount of stairs.... Stairs to our room (no elevator) so you had to carry your bags up and down stairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but an older couple may have a problem. also there are a large amount of steps(stairs) to and from the beach. Again also not a problem for us and it actually forced some exercise after the drinks and dessert, just something to be aware of and consider when booking.
Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable if a touch dated rooms.
A bit expensive but everything is quite expensive on Bermuda! Lovely hotel - only criticism is the decor in rooms is slightly dated.
Excellent location on Elbow Beach. Easy to access bus line for a trip into Hamilton. Grocery in walking distance. We enjoyed the intimate feel of the smaller property. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. The meals we did have were very good.
Dining options are very formal. Catering did try to accomodate our need for gluten free diet, but options were still quite elaborate for family dining. The day we were leaving some guests complained there were no umbrellas, the desk staff commented that there were a number of day passes that day. I dont know if this can be predicted, we never had any crowds, but this would be distressing as we certainly paid for private beach access.
pool was nice and not to crowded. Food was excellent and the views were amazing.
It took a while for to get our food at lunch.
Staff was efficient; check in and check out easy; Location was excellent; Room was made up early and nicely. All questions answered and followed up on.
This hotel was right on the beach. It was an absolutely beautiful beach with chaise lounges and umbrellas. The lobby was updated and very pretty. They have a restaurant and a bar with a beautiful view. Also, you are walking distance to Elbow Beach, which has 3 nice restaurants. The rooms have a beautiful view and were close to the beach. That was nice to be able to walk back to the room when you needed something. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
Excellent beach, very good food, very congenial/helpful/gracious staff, very good location
Very expensive, like most things in Bermuda
great beach, location to other restaurants, spectacular view.
2 nites were buffet which we don't like especially the spicy food and the cost. Also the day trippers from the cruise sometimes couldn't get good beach spot and overcrowded at lunch. They need to offer a package thru Jet Blue which includes b'fast. $50 for bkfast is ridiculous. The disco music was horribly loud on the nite they had a private party-went on till about 11:30. We go to Bermuda because we value QUIET.
The beach, the location close to everything.all personnel where VERY cordial and helpful. Missed meeting somebody from management who we communitated with prior to our arrivel
The location- beachfront property, near grocery store, on bus route
Limited on-site dining and lack of evening entertainment
the beach was beautiful
food at the restaurant was not good. too many "special" nights i.e. island buffet, cookout. Rooms need upgrading a bit to match the spectacular lobby. Not enough beach chairs/umbrellas to match the number of guests.
The location is one of the best in the Island as you have access to the whole Elbow beach. Staff are friendly and very welcoming apart from a couple who dont really seem interested in being there.
The hotel is really old and needs upgrading, there is no room service, the furniture definitely needs updating including the TV's. The bar opens way too late and the breakfast is really not great for the price they charge. The good thing is that you can access the Elbow Beach restaurants and other facilities, obviously at some cost but at least
Divine location, sense of privacy, very clean beach, friendly professional staff, very quiet place.
The quality of breakfast doesn't match the level of the hotel: items selection is very limited (no cheeses, low class fruits, etc.), but excellent service.
My newly married wife and I loved the fact that we right on the beach and the view was outstanding from our room! Elbow beach was by far the best beach in Bermuda, which Coco reef is located on one end of it!
We had beetles in our room the first night! After notifying the front desk they took care of the problem and we didn't see another beetle the rest of our stay!
Excellent and accommodating service. beautifully maintained grounds.
A bit far from the road.
That is was located on the beach.
Horrible beds so went to sleep sofa and it had bugs in it. Toilet broke every day. Kandice at front desk never smiled once and was very rude. Located on very steep hill Horrible food Highly overpriced.
Common areas and staff were excellent. The rooms are in much need of updating.
The location is perfect. We were upgraded to beachfront for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Steve and Candace. They really try to accommodate all needs from directions, dining suggestions, extra towels, reservations, bus fare, etc. Rooms were cleaned to perfection every day early a.m. A wonderful spot and beautiful time.
We are easy going so adapted to the outdated decor of the room and the squeaking door. A huge family reunion that partied in our block and were very loud disturbed the peace at the end. The meals were on the high price end and we arrived to the buffet in the last hour and clearly they ran out of food and it wasn't fresh - and was still full price pp. Also dress code is not enforced at indoor dining area, a pricey and formal space. people in t shirts and shorts can eat on the patio.
