Beautiful location, nice people, Boring and nothing to do after dinner no night life, no entertainment, too quiet caters more to a very very mature clientele, weather is not the best in April either, too cool and windy and rainy.

We found everything we desired at this location....including a bus stop at the entrance to the resort. We used the day pass for our movement about the island on the excellent public transportation system. This was not the fault of Grotto Bay - when we checked in at Grotton Bay they had no reference of our reservation which had been made three months previously. The desk staff was most eager to resolve the problem and noted Booking.Com had not sent a fax notifying Grotto Bay of our reservation. That was the only problem we had. The Grotto Bay staff was more than helpful and we will, most likely, return for a longer stay.

I liked the caves. A very unique experience to swim in the cave. I also enjoyed the massage inside the cave with the special lighting and gazebo effect. A very special experience. The pool was clean and the beach was just a few steps away from us. My granddaughter enjoyed feeding the fish and It was fun to watch them swim so close to us. Water sports were available but for a price. The fishburgers were so yummy and the dark n stormy drinks were very refreshing. I enjoyed looking at the bright, colored cottages. Such a pretty view from our balcony. We had a wonderful gentleman by the name of Mr. Mike Jones who charmed us with his hospitality. He made us feel like we belonged to the community. Friendly, down-to-earth man, our granddaughter looked forward to seeing him every day with a big smile on her face. Grotto Bay had great hot showers. The Hibiscus flowers and trees made the Island look like a paradise along with tranquil waters. Thank you for a wonderful visit. What I didn't care for was the people who came down to the pool very early to reserve their spot and take an umbrella. Some people took two and maybe never used it half their day. Other people had to go without on a very hot day with little shade. If people are going to be gone for hours at a time they should give their chairs up and umbrella. Just my opinion. Meals were priced high. Service at the bar was on the slow side.

The close proximity to the airport was a plus for me and my husband. We were able to enjoy the resort up to the last minute and didn't have to rush and catch the plane...because it was literally 5 minutes away.

We loved our accommodations! The resort was lovely and had everything we were looking for - a beautiful beach with crystal clear water, heated pool, jacuzzi, small fitness facility, casual dining options, convenient location). Our room was inviting and the views were spectacular! Bonus amenities included caves on-site, snorkeling sports and a water sports & moped rental center. The daily afternoon tea and Monday night manager's reception were nice touches. The staff and locals were super friendly and hospitable. We were able to get around the island easily by public bus (several routes stop right in front of the resort). We will definitely return to Bermuda (& Grotto Bay) in the future. It would be nice to have complimentary use of snorkels, bicycles, etc. Also, there weren't many outside dining options within walking distance except the Swizzle Inn. Lastly, we didn't see any pink sand.

Beautiful main building and grounds, lovely grotto. Great service and recommendations, particularly by E. Michael (manager) and Stevon. Had read reviews mentioning airport noise, but did not notice this ourselves. Very close to St. George's, which was wonderful. About a 30 minute bus ride from Hamilton and south shore beaches. We will definitely return!

Clean. Courteous staff. Nicer guests at other hotels that we passed by but nevertheless it was a decent hotel. I would compare it to a Holiday Inn Express. Nice Resort albeit a bit on the old side as far as hotel design/amenities are concerned. Expensive for what you get. Beach was small. You have to pay to use a large inflatable slide that is already floating in the ocean?? Some of the front office staff didn't seem to enthused when asked question that would be quite common of someone visiting Bermuda for the first time. Although, other staff were very eager to help and answer questions.

Good hotel facilities with all necessary activities/services for "Rest and Relaxation". The all-inclusive package (includes mot types of drinks) is recommended if all meals are to be eaten at the hotel. Nice beach and good area for walks/runs in the nearby parks. Standard rooms (family of 4; 2 double beds) - however good cleaning/house keeping daily. All inclusive package also contains free rental of non-motorised activities, free bus & ferry passes to all of Bermuda

This resort has a lovely sandy beach, and pleasant grounds. There is a nature reserve just across the road that is a nice place to explore. The buses stop just outside the main entrance, and it is very easy to get to the airport, St George's and Hamilton. Resort offers various meal plans, which we found very convenient. Free afternoon tea and cakes are served daily. The lunches are served at a beachside restaurant, and we found that the quality of the meals was nowhere near as good as at the main restaurants. Bathroom did not have useable counter space (inconvenient).
