Perfect location and well appointed accommodation

No teapot to make tea.

The internet (wireless) was next to useless. This must be improved. Much more bandwidth is needed -- I was not able to even check the news without waiting forever for pages to connect, and Skype was impossible. At breakfast, only white bread was available for toast (does Bermuda not have any other types of bread?). And even then, the waitress forgot to bring it. Also, very little coffee was brought to the table, as if it was being rationed. Not acceptable for a high-priced resort.

- The hotel is just 10 mins drive and $20 taxi ride from the airport so brilliantly located for transferring tired young kids after the long flight - we took an apartment as Dee Dee explained that it meant we could have a late check out (flight was at 8.30pm) which was v useful and v kind - liked the layout of all the cottages on the site and how you could see the sea from most of them. - our apartment was well laid out for 2 young kids who both had their own beds and still loads of space

- The other receptionists weren't the most customer friendly, one in particular. - such a shame that only one swimming pool was heated, the smallest one and on the sunniest day during our week, it was being cleaned. Our weather was very changeable so the lost opportunity was a big disappointment for the kids.

Clean, well equipped kitchen to cook, Cleaning staff courteous, helpful and flexible. Very spacious 2 bedroom . Comfortable...everything in good working order.

Night and weekend receptionist not friendly or helpful. Went through the motions of telling us the info, but that is all. Forgot to mention when we checked in at 9PM that the water was going to be shut off at 9AM the next morning for 3 hrs to do repairs. It was off when we woke up and thus we had to wait till after noon to start our day. Each day the water was shut off for repairs and they said they had bottled water to give us, but when we went to ask for it, they said they had run out. We only had 3 full days in Bermuda so this put a damper on our stay. No one available at front desk until 8AM....I was leaving at 7AM and no one available to help call for Taxi that was supposed to have been ordered the night before by front desk staff, but it did not arrive. Cleaning person tried to help but did not know where to call. Ended up walking with luggage to bus stop 100 yards away to try to catch my plane.

Being familiar with the resort, we feel very much at home there. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed our first New Years Eve visit to see the onion drop in towne square and will return in the spring!

Looking forward to the re-opening of the St. George's Golf Club.

Not able to use any of the pools. VERY EXPENSIVE SHOULD BE $50 PER NITE IN LOW SEASON. NO CLEAR DIRECTIONS TO THE BEACH WHICH WAS ONLY 5 MINS AWAY. TOOK THE WRONG ROUTE GOT LOST! NO CLEAR DIRECTIONS TO THE DOWNTOWN. CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH MOPEDS ETC. INTERNET NOT INCLUDED IN THE ROOM

It is a self contained vacation village with three pools, workout facility and it's own beach club. Given the reasonable cost I was pleasantly surprised how nice everything was.

It was Quiet and relaxing, with terrific ammenities. Location was at the far end of the island from all the action of Hamilton with more secluded beaches, easier shopping and less traffic for our novice scooter skills.

Given that the villa's were 25 years old and not renovated, the club is a bit high priced. We were last there 18 years ago and althought the villas and grounds were well kept it seemed completly unchanged.

the cleaning fee is too high, even we didn't have anyone clean our room because we don't waist water. also the cleaning fee didn't show on the price, so i didn't see this part

I loved the location. It was walking distance to work. Very clean and spacious. I only stayed one night and was not really able to enjoy all they had to offer. I wish i had more days to really appreciate the room and aminities of the suite. The desk perssonelle were friendly and courteous. I would stay again, and I recommend it to anyone planing on staying a while in St. George's Parrish.

Only one thing. I arrived late in the day went out for dinner came back to the room and went to sleep. When I awakened the next morning it would have been nice to have coffee or tea in the suite to make. The kitchens are fully functional range, microwave, refrigerator,... It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of something in the morning. They should but a couple of tea bags and coffee filter pods in the room.

The service in the bar was very nice! The Service at the club that was great and the Food was very good! I enjoyed the area Beach and St Catherine'. Fort. The hotel Shuttle made it convienent. The conciegre Helped set up tee times ,

The golf course was not fit to play .... The cab Fare 35.00isd each way to play golf! The Conciere was on the phone on personal Phone call . When she finished her conversation she then set up our Tee times. I especially did not like added fees At the end of my stay.....ex: maid service added. taxes., fees for using the computer In the lobby. Everything with this hotel Included additional fees. I would not stay Here again because of all the hidden fees.

Beautiful setting...loved the beach and pool areas.

Felt that some of the staff was not particularly service oriented.

Only one staff member was routinely curt. Others were fine. FOr your price, it was a great value, so I will use you again!

в номерах есть абсолютно всё, вплоть до штопора и гладильной доски. у отеля большая чистая живописная территория. нет проблем с лежаками у бассейна и пляжными полотенцами. уборку в номере производят ежедневно.

при бронировании номеров с вас берут депозит в размере оплаты 2-х суток проживания в отеле (списывают с карты в тот же день), при заезде снимут полную стоимость проживания без учета депозита, который при выезде обещают вернуть на карту. вот теперь ждем.

la posizione, pochi minuti dal centro di St George che è collegata benissimo con Hamilton, e la tranquillità perchè non sono le solite camere d'albergo, ma veri e propri mini appartamenti completi di tutto in cottage indipendenti. c'è pure il noleggio moto. e ,pochi minuti a piedi, si arriva a Tobacco bay.

si paga internet. al giorno d' oggi dovrebbe essere parte integrante dei servizi messi a disposizione dalle strutture alberghiere, e non un opzional.

Posizione fantastica, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Vicino a due belle spiagge e al villaggio di St. George.

Beautiful location in St. George's, Bermuda and convenient to a great public transportation system. Lovely views. We were able to walk and explore the pretty, historic town but it was also easy to hop onto the bus and go into Hamilton or sightsee around the island. The Griffin Restauraunt was very nice with good food. The staff was very helpful. The unit we stayed in was very attractive and the kitchen made it easy to make our own meals when we didn't want to go out.

The sofa bed in the living room was uncomfortable for sleeping as the mattress was too thin.

Die Lage direkt über der Hafenbucht von St. Georg.Für Bermuda Verhältnisse eher preisgünstig. Sehr nahe am Flughafen, daher für den Abreisetag gut geeignet. Taxi-Service hat gut geklappt. Voll ausgestattete große 2-Zimmer Appartments mit Kühlschrank, Küche, Geschirrspüler.

Der Club war sehr steril, eher tot. Kein herzlicher Empfang. Tausende von Schildern mit Regeln, was zu tun sei, und wieviel Strafe es kostet, es nicht zu tun. WEnn man mehr als 3 Tage bleibt, muss man pro Person mindestens 60 Dollar im Club-Restaurant ausgeben. Wir selbst waren nur am letzten Tag im Hotel. Dafür war es ok. Am Abreisetag gab es im Resort kein Nutzwasser für Toiletten - kommt auf Inseln offensichtlich mal vor.... Ob ich es weiterempfehlen würde? Für einen Strand- / Familienurlaub eher nein. Hier sind die Strände am South Shore schöner. Private Appartments auch preiswerter. Hat man keinen Vergleich war es schon ok...

Great place, great staff, great restaurant. We had a very relaxing five night stay. The cottage was really well designed.

The cottages need updating -- renovations are on the way.

The location was fantastic, walking distance to all shops, restaurants, attractions in St. George'S. About a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Services was definitely not 5 star. One maid refused to make the bed up because our son left a teddy bear and blanket on the bed and she said that she would not make up the bed if personal items were left on the bed. We have travelled extensively with our son and have never had hotel staff refuse to make the bed because he left his teddy bear and blanket on the bed. Another morning the same maid came to our room to clean it and we were not ready to go out, I asked if she would come back in 20 minutes and we would be gone. She said that she had to do it then or not at all (it was 10 am and other days we did not have our room serviced until afternoon) and she would start in our bedroom. My husband was taking a shower at the time so I had to go into the room to get his clothes for him. She sprayed cleaning chemicals all around the room with my two year old son there. We complained to the manager and only received one day of servicing fees (30 usd) as compensation. Room decor was very dated and the one bed villa is definitely not enough room for 4 people. Table in the living room only sat 2 people and living room had a pull out couch. Kitchen was quite small. I would say that this place should be rated as a three star and then people would be quite happy with it. But there are no 5 start amenities or services.

We needed to pay $10 for 24 hrs wifi, and the signal was terrible. We could barely check our emails in the villa, only good connection was in the club house 10 mins walk away. We also needed to pay $20 per day for housekeeping, shouldn't it be standard to include it in the price?? The front desk staff was horrible and rude. My credit card was charged deposit amount of 60% of the entire bill upon booking the hotel two months ago, which is normal. But then when we checked in last Friday, they charged my credit card for the full amount of the entire hotel room bill plus another deposit amount without letting me know! The front desk woman didn't show me any written proof of that transaction and totally denied it!! Upon check-out, they only showed me the itemized bill for our four day's stay, without any indication of that huge $964 they posted onto my credit card upon our check-in. I am now waiting for my credit card company to sort it out.
