Jubilee HotelJubilee Plaza, Jalan Kampong Kianggeh Road, BS 8111 Bandar Seri Begawan (Show map) Review score 6.9 Score from 69 reviews“It is located at the downtown centre of Bandar Seri Begawan. Even though there is extremely inconvenient public transport in B.Seri Begawan, the hotel promises to offer cheap ride services or taxi calling service, so we feel pleased and satisfied with the hotel's service. We feel being treated importantly and all the staffs of the hotel are nice, courteous and always with a smile and a nice manner.”

If we already booked there for more than 1 time, they should give me deduction price on the next stay, right, for example as my husband and me are students, please give us student package, let's say 40-60 bnd per night:-)

Not expensive, free delivery from hotel to the airport, free wi-fi, cheap supermarket behind the hotel's wall Old bad furniture, old bath equipment, old doors and everithing. No safe-box in the room. Air conditioner work to cold , U can not make it 'easy' , but U can switch off it at all. But it's fine for this price

Very good location - close to the iconic Omar Ali mosque. Free Shuttle to/ from airport included. (Approx. 10Km from airport) Free WiFi in room Free breakfast (basic, no buffet) 730-930am or so. Friendly Staff with good English skills There is a 'local travel desk' near reception which can arrange for various site-seeing trips and transportation (hardly any taxis here) Decent restaurant near the reception which is open from 9am- 11pm and also does room delivery Convenience store adjacent to the reception, which has basic groceries for cheap / reasonable prices. Luggage deposit room No WiFi in lobby/ reception area and signal fluctuating and weak in the room sometimes. Building seems old. Rooms seem have some ants/bugs and curtains/ sheets hv a strange odour. My room also had a broken window which didnt allow the air-con to work efficiently. Very noisy air-con and due to broken window, all outside noise also affected sleep. Given the room quality not really value for money, but the city/ country doesnt have many tourists so very few options anyway. "Travel desk" prefers cash. Accepts visa/ MAstercard but additional 5% commission.

we were having a day stop-over in Brunei and chose the Jubilee Hotel as they offered pick-up and return to the airport and the price was competitive. staff were very friendly and we were afforded an upgrate to a super-deluxe room which was huge with four beds and large sitting room... quite sparse but clean. the airconditioning in the sitting room was not working, but the bedroom was cool. good value for a stop over. Very good location. Within 5-10 minutes walk to the central bus station (1-2BND to all the places), market, shoping malls (i.g.Yayasane shoping mall), water front decks (to the Water Village & to see Proboces). We found the Brunei Hotel's location is even better and it is newer. Short of staff and so cheap. There is only one staff working at the front desk responsible for everything. When I asked for a roll of bathroom tissues for the third day, the staff answered "We don't have any more. Why don't You go to the next door to buy one since it is so cheap!" What a service is this? He supposed to be able to buy or to borrow some from their neighbor who is a grocery store. Cheap breakfast cook, too. Sometimes she only supplied scrambled eggs with bread/coffee and left the other two heated trays empty (they were running out by the previous customers) for a long long time. Facilities and furnitures are old.

Rooms was in good condition and comfortable. All staffs was very kind and helpful. It should serve buffet breakfast with various type of traditions meals. I think continental breakfast provided is less suitable among foreign guests which offers only such type of meals. It may offers more various famous local meals. However, all the menu given was still satisfied dan delicious. Congrats!!

Convenient location, near centre and amenities and some tourist attractions; comfortable room, good service. Some night traffic noise in the street-facing room that I was in. Also, could do with room slippers because old carpet.

The staff was excellent. Great breakfast. I had a really nice guide from the tour desk. The airport shuttle drivers were wonderful. The room was clean. The a/c was nice and cold. The location is great. Just a short walk to the city center and access to the water village. If you're a mid- level hotel person, as I am, you can't do better. The Jubilee Hotel is a great value.

There is a convenient store just below the hotel. Room too small. Furniture outdated. No in room facility to even boil some water. Wi-fi very slow. No ironing facility. No buffet breakfast (everyone has to order from menu).

1.Free transport to and from airport 2.just about 5 minutes walk to city center 1.For complementary breakfast you can order only one type of food, there is no buffet style where you can select several types of food. 2. the hotel charged you for one night at the time when they confirm your booking, not as usual where you were charged for one night only when you didn't turn up

Free pick up from airport , but they refused to drop us at the ferry terminal saying the free drop facility is only to the airport. The owner of the shop attached to the hotel was very friendly and helped us in getting a van for small tour. Breakfast was just omlette and bread , nothing else.Should have more options of Asian cuisine.

We stayed only one night and were impressed with the reception staff, who listened to our questions and also offered wake up call and time for driver to take us to airport. He also offered us an earlier breakfast time for us and in general was very personable. It would be advisable to confirm booking and flight arrival a day or two in advance. I don't smoke and someone had been smoking in the room. Also their was only one towel in the bathroom for us as a couple.
