Staff was very helpful, and the location very convenient for walks to many sights and attractions around La Paz. There's a very nice view from the top floor breakfast room. Breakfast left much to be desired, but overall no complaints.

Very good location. Always hot water. Lovely terrace on top floor, next to breakfast room. Splendid view from our room on third floor. Some in staff spoke enough english to make Q&A possible. Very sulky staff serving "breakfast", latter consisting of cinnamon tea, terrible coffee (even worse than the stuff they serve you in US, if that is imaginable) strawberry marmalade and a single loaf of white uninteresting sweet wheat bread. There was always fresh fruit of one kind or another though.

The hotel is ideally located in the touristic center of La Paz. The girls at the reception were helpful and reliable. The street in front of the hotel is very busy with microbuses. We had a room in the 3rd floor, it was OK during night. Breakfast is very poor, better go to other placed in the neighborhood.

It has an excellent location at the La Paz downtown and really near the bus station (15 min. walk). The staff is really friendly and helpful and they helped us by keeping our bags during our three-day trip to Uyuni.

The price was arranged for 120 Bs and I checked this with reception after the first night. When I came to check out the other girl on reception was unbelievable. First she took me key, locked the reception door, then went up to check my room. As if I might have stolen the tv or something. After this she tried to charge me 200Bs a night. I tried to explain I was told 120Bs but she was having none of it and called some more staff down into reception. I was made to look like a criminal. Overall the staff are all young, don't know what they're doing. Do you want them in charge of your well being in La Paz?

Front desk staff very helpful with taxis and restaurant reservations, tho not knowledgeable about best restaurants. Excellent security. Breakfast area very bright and cheerful. Breakfast 8-10 is too late if you are joining tours. Location is good near market and San Francisco church. Great hot showers which is needed during cold nights and which is not always available in Copacabana even at more expensive hotels. $17 per night is a bargain, but only local Bolivianas are accepted for payment. Room was a little musty smelling but opening the windows solved the problem. Requiring local currency was inconvenient at end of trip when excess bolivianas are useless. Airport transfers are not offered.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They say laundry but you must take your own to 2 uphill blocks away. So they do tell you where the laundry is but in fact they do not have a laundry service. The WIFI doesn't have fantastic reception in the rooms.
