Location, clean and silent place.
The hostel is set back from the street, which means it is lovely and quiet at night and there is no street noise. The rooms, although small, are spotlessly clean and the shower pressure and hot water was amazing - the best in Bolivia so far! Breakfast is a help-yourself affair, but it's all set out for you and you just have to cook your own eggs to your liking - easy. The kitchen was easy to use and a nice space to meet other travellers. The staff were always friendly and happy to answer questions.
staff was fine.
we feel the room was very misrepresented. definitely the worst place in our two months in bolivia. the room was hardly bigger than the bed! really, the bed was only a double and was jammed in the corner, against the wall. the space between the other side and the wall was very narrow. hard to get past the nightstand into the (tiny) bathroom. the room should have been classified as a single! we were going to stay for a week and instead, checked out after one night. there are so many better options in sucre. the breakfast was minimal and you are expected to make do with a tiny kitchen. we had to wash our cooking dishes before we could eat (so that the next person could cook) - which meant we had a cold breakfast.
Great location, immediately opposite the central market, but still very quiet. Walking distance to all major Sucre attractions. Breakfast was fine, pretty standard for Bolivia. Super clean and bright, and my room was huge. Great wifi.
Very central location oposite the main market within easy walking distance of the major sights. Good breakfast including eggs on request. Very helpful staff who allowed us to use all the public faclities long after check out time while waiting for a night bus to La Paz.
ExcellentStaff. Location. Hot water 24/24.
Making my own breakfast
Really comfortable beds, great shower (powerful and hot), great location - quiet, good wifi and great staff
Good location Very fair for the price charged
Helpful English speaking staff. Good location
In 3 trips to South America this is the best hostel I have stayed in. Great staff; clean, good beds, hot showers, great location, good breakfast (remember to ask for eggs), reasonable wifi (often unreliable in Bolivia)
The staff is excellent. The hostel is very cosy and clean.the hot shower excellent 24 hours.quality / price excellent. I recommend this hostel.
Have to prepare my breakfast by myself and clean afterwords. I am on vacation!! From the main street to the reception long passio with urine smell .although the hostel is very clean.
Room, cleanliness, kitchen staff, free usage of kitchen, wifi, location....walking distance to most attractions.
Everything was great till check out...when they demanded us to pay the VAT tax. This is the first hostel in Bolivia that charged us that and we are only in Bolivia for 2 weeks. We felt kinda ripped off.
the hotel is right in the center of town, so you are near everything. It is very cozy and clean, with a nice inner patio. the room was not too big, but big enough and nice shower.
The breakfast is self service, meaning you boil the water and cook your eggs, but it was quite akward being asked to wash the dishes by a cleaning lady who is just standing there looking at you....
The location is quite good, the beds are small but nice (matrimonial room)
The wifi was terrible, and you have to do your breakfast yourself
We stayed for a night here and found it very comfortable and clean. The courtyard is very pretty and the hostel itself is in a great location. We also loved the hot showers!!
Great location just opposite Mercado Central but not noisy at all. Well maintained and clean rooms. Adequate bedding and covers so it feels warm even without heating.
There were not many cooking utilities in the shared kitchen, making it hard to cook. The frying pan was kept locked away after breakfast and all that was left was a small pot and some eating utensils!
One of the best places we stayed. Right by the amazing central market and busy nighttime streets but set back around a beautiful courtyard and very quiet. lovely room.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good and close to everything.
It was a very nice hostal!!!
Its in a very busy street, we didnt hear anything in the room but its just good to know before arriving cause its not so easy for the taxi driver to stop so you have to get out quickly ;)
Good location, staff speak good English, very comfortable rooms. Excellent quality of breakfast, rooms nice and quiet, cable TV
Nothing worth noting
The location is a must, staff is excellent, rooms are nice, beds comfy, it's a very nice place with a lovely courtyard, breakfast is ok
maybe a bit expensive for what it is, for this price I would expect maybe a small heater in rooms as nights can be cold in Sucre, and wifi is not the best but still ok
The location, very central, but quite a bit removed from the street. Good hot water shower. Very helpful staff, they gave me a heater when I asked. Good value for money.
Noise insultation from other rooms not so good. Wifi quite poor except early morning and late night.
Friendliness of the staff. Quiet location, yet opposite the market - great for buying picnic essentials.
Great location one block from centre. Comfy beds. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent hot showers.
Breakfast was could be better...bread was often stale, juice tasted of cleaning liquid one morning. Wifi not great but not much worse than rest of Bolivia! Only other minor complaint is the lack of bath mats, the bathroom floor is lethally slippy!
After arriving from Santa Cruz, we stayed 3 nights at this romantic oasis in the middle of Sucre. Instead of a hostal, the atmosphere feels more like a hotel. Very peacefull and quiet. Our double room was located in the back at a central courtyard with nice flowers etc. The room was bright, clean, good beds, with a clean and nice private bathroom. Wifi range was ok and breakfast was simple but good. Staff was ok. Good location to discover Sucre!
