The only improvements we can suggest would be:
- preheat the rooms. Ours was chilly when we arrived early in the morning & it took a while to heat through with a free-standing radiator & the radtiator in the room switched on.
- provide an internet-connected computer for guests to use
Villa Antigua is in a beautifully restored colonial courtyard building.
The location is perfect, about 5 minutes walk from the main square, with cafes & restaurants nearby.
Sucre itself is a clean & beautiful city & we spent a very relaxing few days here, before moving onto the madness of La Paz - such different cities, both special in their own ways.
The staff are friendly & helpful & speak English. We particularly enjoyed speaking with the Dutch owner.
The room & bathroom are spacious & beautifully furnished.
Breakfast is in a large & grand dining room, with a wide choice of breads, cakes, jams, fruits, fruit juices, cereals & eggs cooked to order.
Last, but not least, there are lots of placest to sit out, including the water tower, at the top of the building, from which you can enjoy splendid views of the city & the majestic surrounding mountains.
