Locatie (dicht bij Kralendijk), uitstraling, sfeer (ontspannen), duikmogelijkheden.

Zeer klein strandje, beperkte snorkelmogelijkheden, maar één restaurant (het andere was precies tijdens ons verblijf gesloten).

Het personeel in de bar en restaurant waren vriendelijk. De zee was rustig en kon goed in gezwommen worden ook kon je prima snorkelen.

Personeel achter de receptie was slecht. Zij dachten niet met je mee en waren pas in staat wat voor je te regelen als je het al helemaal voor je had uitgestippeld. De strand handdoeken zijn steeds op dan moet je een tijdje wachten op de nieuwe lading erg lastig als je een excursie hebt geplant. Voor de rest is het hotel oud en de kamers zijn slecht onderhouden. In de kamer heb je overal schimmel plekken en ziet er gewoon vies uit. Het bad zag er ook erg smerig uit dus hebben we met slippers aan gedoucht. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg slecht als wij de helft hadden moeten betalen hadden we ons iets minder belazerd gevoeld.

locatie is uitstekend. Goed centraal gelegen. Op loopafstand naar centrum. Mooi uitzicht vanuit restaurants.

Deel van het personeel zou wat vriendelijker kunnen zijn......

Onderhoud matig, niet alle personeel even efficient.

What strikes when arriving is the somewhat strange combination of colors including bright pink, but when longer on the island, it becomes a common feature on the island. The location is great, nice snorkling just in front of the resort. The rooms are a bit old and some things may be a bit worn or aged, but it is clean and maintenance and housekeeping staff do their best. The ocean view rooms are directly at the water. There are many facilities like pools, restaurants and bars, activity center, casino, diving school, gym, and others.

WiFi was provided for free at lobby but quality was quite bad initially. During this stay, all of a sudden the connection got blocked (not, like many other times, interrupted!), because they had decided that day to change to paid WiFi. Only after inquiring about this, they told me that I could use a different unsecured network temporarily. Also, price is a bit high for this resort.

The Divi Flamingo Dive Shop was excellent - its staff, the layout, and the facilities! Serge, Alvin and their team do a fabulous job!

Our first meal at the resort was on a Saturday - at their "live entertainment" buffet dinner. This was a big disappointment though, as it consisted of a guy with a music box, and the food was overcooked and not very appetizing. Give that one a miss! As regards our room, it was very musty when we arrived - but a quick trip to a local grocery store for some room fresheners solved that problem.

The location is good

-No complementary WiFi in the room. -The WiFi you can buy is per one device at the time (so not for the room) -communication between the employees is far from optimal (you've to repeat the same story every time even between shifts)

The resort is bit run down. Needs humiditier in each room and updating. The bathroom stunk of urine.

Het aanbod van een andere kamer ivm lawaai bij de oorspronkelijke kamer.

De afhandeling van de overboeking liep niet goed. We hebben 2 dagen met ingepakte bagage gezeten omdat het onduidelijk was of we de toegewezen kamer het hele verblijf konden gebruiken. Herhaaldelijk bezoek aan de receptie maakte ons niet wijzer. De bediening aan de bar was zeer onvriendelijk. We kregen de indruk dat ze liever geen gasten aan de bar wilden.
